My car had excessive outer edge wear, so I went to the tire choices for alignment. See the attached picture for results. It doesn't make sense to me so I went back the second day and got the following response: 1. The "Before measurements" were not taken. What is shown on the report is not the real measurements. 2. Because my tires were worn out, this alignment is good enough, even with some out of range values. When I replace my tires there, they can do alignment again. I'm supposed to travel tomorrow and I noticed my tire was deflating. I've always gone to get service at a dealership because.. well I don't know. But I called in and Darell said that I could bring my car by today! I wasn't sure if they were going to be able to fix it because I have a Chevy Volt and the tires are gel tires and can be a challenge. Well they fixed it and helped with another thing too! It was not expensive at all and, in fact, I spent more at the Trader Joe's and pet store across the street while waiting. Really appreciate these guys helping out and not up charging me considering I'm a young (ish) woman who very clearly doesn't know much about cars. read more

$75 for a complete waste of time. I went in for a simple tire repair, but they caused another issue by breaking my tire sensor. Even after replacing it, they couldn't get the sensor to work. The female manager was no help at all--she just told me to go to the dealership to figure it out myself and made it clear they wouldn't cover the costs. I had to go in a total of five times just to get my two tires repaired because of their mistake. The only person who actually tried to help was Dave--he showed great critical thinking and did whatever he could to fix my car. Overall, a frustrating experience. Avoid this place if you don't want extra problems. You can go to other tire centers for a free repair. read more

We patronized this location for several years for service and tire purchases with no problems. Recently, we needed two new tires and I called to schedule the purchase and installation. Upon completion of the work, I immediately ran my credit card without fully reviewing the receipt. After reviewing it standing in the store, I noticed that I had been charged $100+ for road hazard coverage I neither requested nor wanted and asked that my purchase be run up again with the coverage removed. The service writer told me that the corporate office wouldn't allow him to do that and that I should be refunded the cost within two weeks! With no refund at day 9, I called the manager and finally received my refund on day 16! The manager was extremely disinterested and never offered an apology for the poor service. When I mentioned that I had provided instant feedback after the service requested via a text message and was surprised not to receive a call from the location, she simply said "Corporate has to send the feedback to us." We will never patronize Tire Choice again. read more

Just wanted to update my previous review. I called Carlus on a Sunday morning as they were the only place opened. He told me to come in and they would look at it, but never promised me anything or said they could fix it. Boy were they busy when I got there. I had to be at work at 6:00 that night and Carlus and his guys got my tire fixed and on my way before they closed. Carlus was nice, professional and explained to every person that came in, how busy they were. He never promised anyone anything and was nothing but nice to everyone. I should have read the reviews before I went in here for service. I called and setup a appointment before I went. Spoke with the manager Evan and told him what needed to be done over the phone once I was making the appointment . I have their lifetime wheel alignment policy and also I have their tire protection which I purchased when I purchased brand new tires. They are nicer and helpful once you make a big purchase but things just changes after a while when you go back for service later. I dropped of my car and told Evan that I only need wheel alignment, tire rotation which I have the policy and shouldn't be any cost. Evan the manager didnot even go to get the mileage of my car and gave me Only one piece paper to sign which didnot had any information with what he is working on. I was running late for work so I just signed and left the car with him. He stated after it gets done I will get a call. After 4 hours I called to check on my car and found out it's done. I went to pick up the car and came to find out that they were charging me for a oil change which I didn't even requested and also wheel alignment wasn't done which I wanted to get done. Tire rotation was done as specified thou. I just did a oil change a week ago which the information was on the windshield sticker which they threw away and replaced it with their sticker. I also always used high quality full synthetic oil together with oil stabilizer that costs me normally $50. They drained my Perfect oil for a cheap $20 oil and filter. It made me really upset because the closing manager said Evan is the manager and he is not going to make that kind of a mistake. They don't own up to their mistake and don't try to correct their mistakes. So I had to pay for a oil change that I did not wanted and my cars wheel alignment wasn't done. If there was a option for me to give them no stars instead of one I will do that. Few years back they drove my car 46 miles after I dropped off for service. Which I proved by the in and out miles which got recorded on the work order and also I always take pictures of my odometer. Than I started going to another certified tire at another location. Which everything was going well until they left all my wheel hand tight. Which I saw when I went to car and saw couple of it was sticking out. I than called the manager to show him the issue and he goes I am sorry and said that I would have returned after I feel the difference in driving. I told him this was very dangerous and I would have been into very bad accident because your tech forgot to tighten all my wheels properly. After that I went in again to get my tire rotation done after a few months and this time the tech uses power gun to lock my wheel and breaks my wheel lock key and broke 3 wheel locks. I than had come to this Pleasanton location to get my wheel locks replaced because they don't have the tools. UPDATE: I visited the store back to speak with the manager Evan and he took ownership of the issue and fixed the issue. He even refunded me all my money too. Around 8am, I made an appointment online for an oil change at 1pm. I chose the option to wait as opposed to dropping the car off. That is when it gave me a list of available times. When I arrived at 1pm, I walked in and one gentleman came in from the garage, looked at me, and ignored me. A second gentleman came in shortly after and said he'd be right with me. When they were done talking, I told him I had a 1pm appointment for an oil change. He asked if I made the appointment today. I said yes. He asked if I wanted to drop off or wait. I said I'd wait depending on how long it would take. He said "well my guys are going to lunch now so they can start on it about 2 and it'll take about an hour. Or you can come back at 2." Where do I begin in my praise of Brandin Ennis the manager of Tire Choice and his staff? Brandin truly brought a pleasant ending to what started out as an Awful experience. This past Saturday evening I drove almost an hour to Pleasanton to meet my kids at a restaurant for an early dinner. After a great dinner we were all leaving and going our separate when I got a flat tire. I was able to make it to a gas station parking lot, but It had just hit 7pm on a Saturday evening and everything in the area was closed. I was able to get a can of Fix -a-flat from the gas station but when I attempted to put it in the tire, the complete stem of the tire broke off in my hand so now this situation is just getting worse. I didn't have a spare but before I decided to call Triple A for a tow, I needed to locate a shop that opened on Sundays and just about everything in the area was closed until Monday. I found Tire Choice in the Google directory and it was only about a mile from where I was stranded. I called Triple A at 7pm and at 9:30pm I still didn't have a tow truck. I did not get a tow truck until 11pm.(Yeah, I know 4 hrs for a tow truck) Once I got a tow truck I had them tow it to Tire Choice and I dropped the car there and put the key in the slot. The next morning I told myself that I would wait until at least 10am before I called the shop to check on the car. At 9:30 am I received a call from Brandin to tell me that my car was completed and ready to be picked up. I said "Great! How much do I owe you". Brandin replied "Nothing I'm not going to charge you for this". When I finally arrived at the the shop to pick up the car I asked again what the charges would be and Brandin wouldn't charge me. I then pulled out my wallet and took out money and asked if I could buy lunch for the staff, he refused to accept that as well. Brandin's only concern was providing EXCELLENT customer service to each person walking through the door. Brandin I wish that so many other businesses cared about the customer the way you do. To go above and beyond what is expected or required is Awesome and truly a refreshing experience. Brandin thank you again to you and your staff for helping me. read more

I went to get a tire patch. The manager of the store appeared to be very passionate and professional at first but soon revealed his nasty side. I told him i already got a service appointment for replacing all my tires in 2 weeks and want to see if i can patch it as a temporary solution. He insisted on giving me a quote for a tire type i didn't ask for and started to lecture me. I told him let's keep this simple, give me a matching quote to what i have from my BMW dealer and i will consider it. He immediately turned it into a pissing contest and started essentially calling me a liar and "i ma gonna call yall bluff right now" per his exact tone, when i told him his quote was 60% higher than what the dealer is giving me. The conversation was gonna turn very unpleasant thereafter if I hadn't just walked away. I usually would just quietly walk away and never go back but this interaction was so bad that i am gonna take some effort and leave my second ever bad review in my 15 years of using yelp. If you don't want to be ripped off, or be insulted for not wanting to be ripped off, stay away from toxic personalities like this manager. read more

After changing my oil he wanted to show me that two of my tires were ready to pop ( super bald and tearing in some spots). I had NO idea and was thankful he could get me some new tires on quickly. I have been coming to this location for my last 3 set of tire replace already. Today my experience had completely change what i think of this location. I have a nail in my tire and I request a repair, the technician recommended a replacement due to tire thread is worn out. So I agree to replace 2 rear tire. He quoted me $1100+ for 2 tire. I told him my last set of same tire I pay alittle over 1k for a set of 4 tire. Then he starting telling me, I can take couple service out which I can save about $150. But it will still cost $950. I felt he is not honest, so I left and went to a location less than a mile away. I pay $636 out the door for the same 2 tire. read more

This review is on behalf of my husband; this was his experience here on 6/17/18: I came into the Pleasanton Goodyear a little over 30 mins before closing time on a Saturday with a screw in my work trucks tire! (Air was hissing out) They were already super busy but once I explained to them that my office was closed & I still needed to commute all the way home to Modesto (90 min away) they took my truck in & had me back out in 20 mins, leaving me enough time to still service my own customers in Pleasanton. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I've ever had within the automotive industry. Evan is a disgrace to the customer service industry. After spending 1000 for a set of tires and after 4 tries they couldn't balance them properly. Evan offered nothing to help remedy my issue. Instead told me to go to one of their other locations and refused to call one of their other locations to find out if they had a tire balancing expert. I ended up taking it to a dealership to find out 3 out of 4 tires was 64 grams off on the weight which was the factor causing the vibration. I'll never go there again read more

This place is not honest and would try to sell tires and services even if you do not need. I went to this place this week to get flat fix on my new Toyota SUV. After checking the tire Manager Mr. Moore, told me that flat can't be fixed, which is alright and suggested to replace all four tires as SUV is 4WD but then I said I bought it in 2022 March and haven't driven much, then he said he will check the thread depth. He measured the depth for two tires as 7 points and one has 5 points left, when I asked how come one is showing as 5 since all 4 tires were installed by factory at the same time, then he says it happens due to driving or what not. He suggested me to by 4 tires for the price of $1545, when I said I was getting late for work and will come back tomorrow then he told me that he can make it happen for $1145 if I do it now. Since, I was getting late for work, I said make me appointment for tomorrow and give me quote, then he gave me quote of $1310. I asked him that you just said $1145, in return he said he didn't say that, I showed him the paper where I wrote it, he said I might have heard wrong. Since, it all looked fishy to me, I went to Costco next day, where they measured tire depth as 8 points for all 3 tires and suggested to replace only the flat one. Which proves that how dishonest these guys are. I am never going back there. read more
