This was the fastest oil change I have ever had and the people working there today were lovely. From the guy who welcomed me and showed me to the waiting room to Tiffany who went over what I wanted done and the charges with me I felt nothing but welcome. I would recommend this location to anyone who asks me. Tiffany even gave me a mail-in rebate on the oil I used with a pre-addressed envelope to send it in. It's your average Jiffy Lube, in that you do get what you pay for. It's convenient to go to and have your car looked over and fluids changed if you happen to be lazy. What impressed me is that the manager found discounts for me and did not push anything extra on me. If I said no to something they wouldn't bring it up again. Upon check out, an extra 12 bucks was taken off as well for the radiator cap as in the end it saves them time and money to simply put a new one on every visit. The staff was friendly, offered me coffee while I waited, chatted me up about being from North Dakota and pointed out some things I could do to save myself a few bucks each time I go to the gas station, such as checking my tire pressure, etc. A lot has changed about Jiffy Lube in terms of customer service and friendliness. This was the first time I visited this particular location and will come back again to get my top off. read more

I know it is just another Jiffy Lube, but the guys who work at this location were AMAZING!! Thanks to fellow yelpers, I decided to visit this place for a quick oil change. They did try to up-sell you on services, but the way they offered services/different types of oil was very personable and sounded sincere. They were honest (which pleasantly surprised me most) and friendly. It may not be the best or cheapest place to get an oil change or your car serviced, but I'll probably go back there because I really liked the staff. :-) read more

Very friendly staffs and fast service. They checked almost everything about my car and explained what I needed to be done. Didn't push at all. The only thing is when I cal I got a quote for around $40, after the service I told them I would use the coupon which was in the app, somehow they raised the price to $50+ and deducted from coupon and add some sort of service charge plus tax came out the same as they quoted me. read more

I had a terrible experience here. I am a woman and I already dreaded having to get this done, and it was about as bad as I had feared. Their costumer service skills are awful. They are condescending, hasty, rude, and disrespectful. They move so fast and act like they don't have any time for your questions. In fact, everything I tried to ask I had to repeat several times and nearly shout. I came in specifically asking for just an oil change, and I caught them performing services I hadn't consented to and tried to speak up against (vacuuming, service checks, tire checks, etc.) which, of course, I was charged for. I felt completely taken advantage of and am still trying to recover from the experience. They were quick, sure, but too quick. My advice, especially to other women: do not go here! read more

Great experience today getting my oil changed. There were multiple technicians working in tandem to do the best and fastest service possible. Everyone was kind to me. I also had my tires rotated and Jonathan took the time to answer all of my questions and help me better understand how to take care of my vehicle. I went to this Jiffy Lube location after it was recommended to me by the tire shop around the corner. After 5 on a Thursday evening. They took me immediately, took care of things I would not have even noticed were in need of replacing ( one of my license plate lights!), were super friendly, and got me back on the road in what I consider to be record time. It's like most other oil change operations - old coffee machine with powdered creamer, legacy computer system and printer, pile of magazines... appears to be operating by the skin of its teeth. Of all the barely-limping-along facilities I see in every Jiffy Lube, there is one consistent well-oiled machine: Their upselling process. First, it's what kind of oil would you like. Synthetic? Don't some cars require one type or another? They show you your options and let you decide (possibly to the demise of your engine). Second, it's the air filter. No matter what shape it's in; they take it out, show it to you, and ask if you'd like to replace it. This is like a surgeon removing some obscure part of your body, presenting it to you, and asking if you'd be interested in a prosthetic instead. Who is the expert here? They perform this act for a reason, and on one occasion when we brought in my girlfriend's car, it was a clean oil filter with a fresh handprint of dirty oil plopped square in the center. Next, the window crack person comes in to inform you of any dings he found in your glass. One thing leads to another, and you are on the phone with your insurance company making up a story about where they came from while the windshield person goes to work. Finally, they take you over to the computer to talk about recommendations for whatever mileage you are at. This might include some computer graphic showing fluid pouring into said part of car needing maintenance, or maybe a package of cleaning, tightening, replacing, and fluids you don't need. It might be time to change the fluid, might not, but it's probably wise to cooperate with them during this moment while they have their hands and tools within your vehicle. No matter what they advertise from the road ($20 oil change, $5 oil change) doesn't really matter since their upselling conveyor belt will eventually badger at least another $100 out of you. JiffyLube has been investigated several times over for this behavior. Regardless, their upselling machine is alive and well. You might try dropping off your car and being offsite while they do your oil, but they might halt work and wait for you to return so they can... you know. I have taken my business over to Elliott Tire and recommend them as a hassle-free alternative. read more

Service was amazing...just went in for a regular oil change and they checked everything else and let me know how everything was looking. I have never been before and since living close by I decided to give it a try. I had a GREAT experience! Definitely would recommend, TJ (the guy who worked on my car) was very personable and knew what he was doing! They were very quick but very attentive to everything I needed. They weren't expensive and didn't try to add on other things "I needed", which I have had in the past and did not need those things at all. I love honest people and they are ! Pros: Quick service, they all seemed nice, they notified me of an issue with the car tires. Con: I received the $36 charge for being a girl (they said it's due to the car). I called my fiancé, he let them know he didn't have that charge last time he was in and they agreed to waive the extra charge for me. However, they took off $30 which left some mysterious $6 oil service charge and they didn't use my $15 off coupon so I still overpaid. I decided my time and sanity was more important than trying to get them to make it right. As a girl, I dread getting my oil changed due to these types of mystery charges. If I was a guy, I'd come back because it was quick. Unfortunately, I'll be going elsewhere for my next oil change. read more

Well I must say that their customer service was friendly and the service for my vehicle was very prompt but one thing bothers me about Jiffy Lube. I called ahead and told them that I had a 2009 Ford F1 50 pick up truck with a V-8 engine and asked what a regular oil change would be she quoted me $49.95 plus tax. When I showed up and she did the estimate it came out to an additional $11.98. I reminder her that I had just call and got an estimate and she said oh we have to put in additional 2 quarts of oil in so it's an extra charge. I said why did you quote me 4995 for the specific vehicle that I brought in and she really didn't have an answer. I had a $13 coupon so it wasn't a big deal but it still ticks me off that when you call and get an estimate it's not honored when you arrived. read more

The most recent time I got my car serviced at this Jiffy Lube they overfilled my oil tank. I drove from Seattle to Boulder, Colorado not knowing oil was spewing all over my motor. It caused an internal issue and I now have to get part of my motor replaced. I have been in contact with Jiffy Lube about being compensated for this mistake and the general manager seems to not believe I am telling the truth about this issue and is avoiding calling me back. He claimed they were going to send someone out to look at my car a couple days ago but no one has been in contact with me to do that. The general manager claimed this would be taken care of in a couple days, but almost a week has gone by and nothing. Do not use this Jiffy Lube, they are incompetent and do not seem to care that they damaged my car and have no interest in trying to help me resolve this issue. read more

This Jiffy Lube doesn't show up on Google right now, but they ARE open! Shep and crew provided awesome, safe drive-through service! I went in for an oil change and while the line was long, they made sure I was taken care of and knew what to do with new drive-through procedures. In the past 2 months I've brought 3 different vehicles to the West Seattle Jiffy Lube location and have been extremely pleased with the quality of work and level of customer service I received on each visit. The first vehicle was my daughters 2000 Honda CR-V that I brought in for an oil change. It was my first time to experience the new protocols brought on by Covid. Instead of walking into the office I stayed in my car queuing up behind other customers already in line in their cars. The line moved quickly and I was directed into the bay. The attendants, all wearing mask, checked me in efficiently. After they checked all the fluids they suggested a transmission flush after showing me the dipstick. The car has a lot of miles on it and was about to be driven to SLC so I opt'd to have the service done on the spot along with the oil change. There was no heavy handed sales pressure and I liked that. It didn't take much longer to have the additional service completed while I remained in the driver seat. One advantage to being in the car is that I was able to observe how they verbally verify different task with presumably a Sr. member of the team as they tick each step off the list. Fluid levels, tire pressure, drain plug re installation, etc. After that visit I didn't hesitate to bring my wife's 2019 Mazda CX-5 in for its first oil change where the service level and quality of execution were on par with my previous visit. Two days ago I returned with my 2011 Honda CR-V for an oil change. After going through all the various check points the only thing required was an oil change. Totally impressed by the overall service orientation of this location. I can't help but think they have a robust training program and hire people who care about the quality of work they do and service they provide. The folks who serviced my vehicles and that I interacted with on each visit were all friendly and professional. I never write reviews but felt compelled to share my experience with this location. read more

I went to this Jiffy Lube at 9:50 on a Saturday, and they were still closed even though they are supposed to open at 7. There was a sign in the door that says they aren't opening until 10am, but they still didn't open at 10:00. We left after waiting until 10:10, went down the block (to check if a competent store would help me) and came back to see they FINALLY opened their doors. We pull up in front of the garage doors AGAIN, still not acknowledged. I waited over 30 minutes in the parking lot for them to open and the worker inside definitely saw us as soon as we got there at 9:50. Neither employee would acknowledge us but started servicing a truck that got there after us. Absolutely trash experience, would not recommend. read more

I came to drop my car off here before work. I arrived a little early (15 mins, they open officially at 8). A worker showed up but wouldn't let me leave my keys and told me he's not working until 8. All I wanted was to leave my keys so I could go to work. Then At 8 nothing. I waited another 10 mins before anything. The kid was very rude. And if it wasn't so close I would have left. Will not be coming back here again. read more

Went in for an oil change. The service itself was fine but as soon as I started the car my oil warning light turned on. I had them check and they said everything looked fine and gave some explanation for what the problem could be and how it couldn't have anything to do with the oil change. After 20 minutes or so of driving, the check engine light went on. I took it back and they refused to even inspect it. I took it home and had someone who knows more about cars take a look and we discovered that during the oil change someone accidentally threw away a valve that is attached to the oil filter and is critical for engine performance. Called them and they denied it at first but after being pushed they checked the garbage and found the part. We were glad to retrieve the part but the staff expressed very little regret and made no effort to make up for the mistake. I will not be returning. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I went in for an oil change at lunch. Dropped the car off behind a Box truck then went to a restaurant for lunch. When I got back my car was behind 2 totally different cars that were getting serviced. I asked why they would move me behind, and could not get an answer. Then I asked to speak to the supervisor and she would not even look at me. I will never use this Jiffy Lube again. The worst service I have ever received. read more

I've gone there for the last twenty-plus years. In the 12 months, however, I've had two bad experiences. In the first, the person checking the battery (my truck has two) spilled water all over and around it. The water doused the headlight connector and housing in front of the battery. As I drove home late that night, I noticed my passenger side headlight was out. When I got home, I checked it. The bulb had exploded in the housing. It cost me almost a hundred bucks to replace the housing and the bulb. I contacted them about the experience, but never heard back. After 3000 miles, I gave them a second chance. Now, a week later, my radiator on the passenger side, right where my second battery is, is leaking. Coincidence? The same person was there doing their thing as before. I can no longer recommend this Jiffy Lube. read more

There must be some good workers at this place, but not the one who failed to tighten the oil drain plug. My car dumped all it's oil several days later when the plug fell out. Jiffy Lube promptly replaced the plug and filled the oil, mentioning that the worker had made the same mistake on several other cars and was fired. So far, no problem. All businesses make mistakes. BUT, although the manager promised to make good on what their mistake cost me (towing, cleaning, mechanical inspection), I got no further communication. Finally fed up, I ask for the boss I can escalate to, and when I email her, STILL no answer. I will discourage anyone from using a business that refuses to take responsibility for clear errors. read more

They said I had a leak in my transmission TODAY.. took it in for service TODAY. Got this text from certified mechanic at the dealer: "We did notice there was drips from the drain plug from the oil pan, The technician can see the plug is cracked and installed incorrectly. If we remove the plug to inspect the plug and pan we would have to refill the oil, You could call jiffy lube and see if they would pay for us to correct that or we can leave it as is for now." read more

I went in for a simple oil change. Pulled into the parking lot and was gathering my belongings when a man came to my window and knocked. Made me feel rushed, but thankfully they were ready for me to pull right up. I was escorted to the lobby, and when they discussed the procedure, I was pressed to make a decision about change several different fluids and parts I knew little to nothing about. As I was waiting back in the lobby trying to convince myself that what should have been a $50 oil change turned into a $300+ was a good idea, two other customers came into the lobby and started laughing together about how they averted the typical Jiffy Lube push for products.
