Got this text from certified mechanic at the dealer: "We did notice there was drips from the drain plug from the oil pan, The technician can see the plug is cracked and installed incorrectly. If we remove the plug to inspect the plug and pan we would have to refill the oil, You could call jiffy lube and see if they would pay for us to correct that or we can leave it as is for now." read more

If anyone (legitimately) knows, please out them here. The first time I noticed shotty & damaging work from this place was when the gang members they hired drained the oil and DID NOT replace my car with new oil!!' WTF?! I'm wondering if Keith and I were there on the same day!!! And, in reading his review, I now know I'm not alone. --- Fast forward a few months. A whole new crew of guys (no surprise there). I had the usual oil change---in an attempt to give the OWNER the benefit of the doubt. Then my oil light went on while out of town!! So, I went to an Oil Can Henry's only to be told I had nearly zero oil, the filter was NOT on properly and there was oil spray all over the undercarriage!!! I'm infuriated. In the time I've owned my car, the only time I've had issues was post a West Seattle Jiffy Lube event! I gave this place a couple of chances; no more. I'm done. I am reporting this store to BBB and will NEVER give them my business again. They are one of few, if any quick lube places in West Seattle and they know it. I went in for a simple oil change. Pulled into the parking lot and was gathering my belongings when a man came to my window and knocked. Made me feel rushed, but thankfully they were ready for me to pull right up. I was escorted to the lobby, and when they discussed the procedure, I was pressed to make a decision about change several different fluids and parts I knew little to nothing about. As I was waiting back in the lobby trying to convince myself that what should have been a $50 oil change turned into a $300+ was a good idea, two other customers came into the lobby and started laughing together about how they averted the typical Jiffy Lube push for products. I've gone to this place on an off over the years. Always a mixed bag. One time they left the oil plug off, another I had oil leaking all over the engine when I left and a giant puddle on my drive when I got home. Today I was in a hurry so thought I'd take my chances. When I arrived there was one car in front of me. I got out as usual and waited for someone to take my info. I stood there for 15 minutes and no one said a word to me about when I could expect to get service. I kept asking when I would be checked in and received shrugs. The guy washing my window tried to give me the hard sell on a chip that had already been repaired. As I was standing there I counted 8 guys. Not one could help me out? Finally had enough, and drove down to Burien to Pit Stop where I got great service. read more

Don't bother giving this garage your business. All I needed was a conventional oil & filter change while traveling this summer in accordance with my new vehicle's maintenance schedule. Thought I'd give the shop a try since my hometown JiffyLube did a great job a few months previously. To save you time, here's a bullet list of what seriously irked me about their service: - the girl who drove my car into the work bay rode my clutch for a whole minute, holding the car in place on the incline as she waited for the other car to leave (I checked for brake lights, elevated RPM, and my rising blood pressure) - The technicians overfilled the crank case AND spilled oil on my exhaust manifold. My engine was smoking for several days. - After all this, I was still charged $50 (in Corvallis it was only $20) Next time I'll get a little dirty and do it myself, this service was NOT worth the hassle or wear on my vehicle. read more

I went into have an oil change and they asked me if I wanted to replace my air filter even though I already told them that I did not. Of course they pulled it out to show me the air filter it was clean because I had just replaced it and I told him that I did not want to replace it. When my car was finished my air filter was still sitting in my seat. They did not even put it back I have also had several friends that have had horrible experiences at this Jiffy Lube. The fact that my air filter was still laying on my seat makes me think that they probably to not take the time to do anything else the right way either. Next time I will go somewhere else or do it myself. read more

This is the worst Jiffy Lube I have ever been to, by far. I definitely should have read the reviews first. I went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation: I had to repeat that 4 times to the staff. I made the mistake of leaving during the service, only to come back and be told that my car had been ready for a while now (I had only been gone for about 30 minutes). When I went to check out, I had to verify that they had done all that they said they did: they did not. The woman in charge of check in/out hadn't listed my tire rotation on the ticket, yet the servicemen tried to lie and claim that they had done it. After they admitted they hadn't, I then went to my car whose tires they had supposedly filled, floors vacuumed, windows washed. My car was not vacuumed, I had low tire pressure, and my windows were also not washed. To be honest I'm sure they lied about the oil they used as well. This place is run by a bunch of children who don't know what they are doing; do yourself a favor and get your car serviced elsewhere. read more

The only good thing about this place is the ability to get an oil change same day. Get ready to fight for everything. No matter what you tell them, they "know better" and ram the high-pressure up-sell down your throat. I've been here a few times because of the convenience, but am tired of struggling to get the oil I want, the tire pressure I want, or to NOT get a coolant flush. It was my first time trying this West Seattle Jiffy Lube location and was disappointed at their lack of customer service - when my husband and I pulled up our car, a young man came up to our window and asked us to pull up in front of the garage, which we did. We then got out of the car and looked around for someone to take our keys, but no employees were in the office or waiting room. After waiting a bit, we saw the young man outside who originally told us where to park our car, and asked him who would check us in & take our keys - he pointed at the waiting room and told us to go back in there, and someone will get you checked in. There was nowhere to sit, so we stood inside the room for awhile, until we heard a shout - the same young man was in our unlocked car, yelling for us to come over & give him our keys. My husband went over, told him we wanted an oil change, guy asked him what kind of oil, husband said regular oil & asked him how long it would take since we wanted to run an errand at QFC, guy said it sure, it would take about 20 min to get everything done & took our keys, and we walked to QFC to get back to our car in time. When we returned ~20 min later, we saw our car had been moved to the parking lot, and our husband went to a woman at the computer (the young man was nowhere to be seen) to pay our bill. She responded, "Oh, we didn't do any work on your car, we took it out of line because you guys disappeared and you didn't tell us what kind of oil you wanted." My husband informed her that he did already tell the young man that info and that we were walking to QFC. She shrugged and said, "Well, you weren't here so we had no idea," then told another guy to get our car AGAIN and put it into the back of the line again, then told us to go wait in the waiting room again to wait yet again for them to service our vehicle. Maybe this was because we weren't driving a Lexus or something, but next time, I'll take our car to for servicing at Firestone Courtesy Tire on California, where they seem to more appreciate their customer's time and business. read more

They were ready when I showed up, and they changed my oil in 16 minutes. So, that part was awesome. They were also kind and courteous, and didn't push any additional services. The part I didn't like is that it was nearly $80, before the $10 coupon I found online. That's a lot more than the $45 I was quoted on the phone. Supposedly this was because my car requires a more expensive type of oil. Still, not clear to me how the Honda dealership can afford to change the oil for $35. I guess that's the price of convenience. Bottom line: fast and courteous service. Would use again in a pinch, but I'm going to try to schedule my next service at the dealer. read more

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST JIFFY LUBE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Dylan was an asshole representative and the staff was talking about taking naps in the pit. I drove up wanting a tire rotation, oil change, and new windshield wiper blades because of a few different coupons that Jiffy Lube emailed me ($15 off synthetic oil change, 20% off tire rotation, and buy 1 get 1 free windshield wiper blade). Dylan opened the door and said he couldn't do the tire rotation because the lift was broken- fine. It happens. No big deal. I still want the oil change and the windshield wiper blades. I ask for the synthetic oil change and the windshield wiper blades. He asks which one I want and I said I don't know the difference. His only explanation was that the $28 one is "its just better" than the $19 one. He clearly doesn't know anything about the products he is supposed to be selling. I opt for the $28 based on information on the package. However, I decided not to buy it because when I asked about the coupon discount he went to consult with one of the female employees, whose name I did not catch, and came back saying that he said he can't give me the buy 1 get 1 free deal because HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO ENTER A BUY 1 GET 1 FREE COUPON. The bar code and the type code are clearly printed on the page I had. The other 5 employees didn't know how to either so Dylan told me I can come back tomorrow to buy it when the manager is there. Way to lose a sale. Dylan tells me its going to be 5 to 10 minutes for the oil change and directs me to the waiting room. I realized that I didn't get the price so I was looking it up on my phone to confirm that I should expect around $65 because all of a sudden I couldn't find any employees to ask. 5 minutes later the oil change is done and what I thought was a $70-$79 service + tax - $15 discount turned out to cost me $101!? Why is that so expensive?! Dylan charged me for the Full Synthetic oil change is why. Dylan left the register to consult the female employee again who suggested that he add $3 to my discount because it would come out to the normal price as a Synthetic Blend oil change without discounts. So they gave me a $18 discount and I paid $89.01. As this transaction was happening I said "I didn't expect it to be so expensive." He said "That's why I ask the customers what they want when they're checking in and give them the price." I told him that he never gave me a price- because he did not. If he told me it would be $100 I would have left before they did the work. His response? "Well I always do, so I know I did but whatever" What an asshole thing to say and how rude to make it look like I'm the idiot that didn't get the price I can't believe how unprofessional and disgusting the customer service here was. I am furious because I know that Jiffy Lube usually has great customer service. I've been going to Jiffy Lubes since 2013 because of their low prices and convenient locations- especially because I road trip often and its convenient to have all of my information in one system. I loved the ability to get in and out within a half hour compared to the other garages which were booked out a week. However, the customer service was terrible (I asked for an online coupon to be applied several times only to not have it applied) and it was costly....$130 for an oil change (no filter) on a 2014 dodger ram 1,500 truck???? I just had an awesome experience at this JL. It's mothers day and I didn't expect it to be so busy but it was, and in true JL fashion, we all showed up within 10 minutes of each other. Jason was the guy that asked what I needed and was very honest saying he thought it would be at least an hour wait. Needless to say it didn't take an hour and these guys were on the top of their game. Very polite, quick, courteous and Jason was total eye candy. They also have a military discount which I always appreciate and didn't try to up-sell me or make me buy things I didn't need. I will def go back here again. I hope J is working ;) read more

I discovered only after the fact when i tried to pop my truck hood and when my wife went for another oil change in her car. I just wanted a quick and easy oil change after work yesterday. They were quick, maybe too quick, less than 10 minutes. I was surprised but didn't really question it. Now this afternoon my engine light went on. It seems really questionable and honestly I don't really trust this place. I'm not sure what they did and I feel like I'm worse off for going here. Never again! My regular shop was too busy to get me in for an oil change, and I needed one quick, so I decided to use Jiffy Lube, as they are the closest and fastest option for a quick oil change. The oil change itself was super quick (because it takes 6 people), and I was in an out in about 15 minutes. The next day, as I was getting into my car, I realized that the hood latch was completely broken, with the latch wire pulled way out. I searched around for the actual latch itself because it wasn't on the floor, and I found it and another plastic piece of the latch mechanism shoved into one of my cupholders. It was pretty obvious that the latch had been broken the day prior at Jiffy Lube, and the technician who did it opted to put the broken pieces in my cup holder rather than tell me. I was on my way to Issaquah, and decided that I would stop in at Jiffy Lube to talk to them about it when I got back to West Seattle. However, on my way to Issaquah, I got a flat tire inside the Mount Baker Tunnel. AAA came out and checked my tire, and found there was no hole in it, but that the air valve stem had been damaged, and my tire was massively leaking air from the stem. Now, this may be a coincidence, however, considering the fact that my tires were previously just fine before going to Jiffy Lube, and the fact that they broke my hood latch, I'm pretty convinced they broke the valve stem as well. I went back in today to see the manager about these issues, and while he did refund me my money after I asked, he also showed zero concern for the issue and offered me no apology for the obviously concealed broken latch. I should have known better to go this Jiffy Lube considering that they broke something else on my car two years ago that I had to pay to repair, but I was in a pinch. Never again! Went in for a quick oil change and the staff got my car in and out as usual. The next day I see cloud-like vapor seeping from the engine as my car begins to overheat. I pop the hood and notice that my radiator hose was completely severed and disconnected, and coolant was splattered all over the inside of my engine. Too much of a coincidence that my car is serviced at this establishment and this happens in less than 24 hours. The team did not turn off my maintenance light, give me a detailed receipt or place a new mileage sticker in my car. I tried calling 5+ times to hear from them regarding what may have happened, and no one ever answered the phone. read more

I went in, checked in and within 15 minutes (and that is being generous) I was done. Even got my floors vacuumed, which doesn't always happen.
