All of them were very pleasant however joe handled me and my car more in depth, not only was he cordial and kind he even made conversation with me asking how my day was going. I starting using THIS Jiffy Lube after so many oil changes at the dealership that took between 5 to 8 hours! In and out of this place in usually 30-45 minutes or LESS. They took my 2005 Jeep through to 2015 and kept her traveling worry-free even at over 140K miles. Just took in my "new to me" Xterra for her first oil change. I've been to this particular Jiffy Lube a number of times mainly due to it's convenient location near my work. Usually these guys are falling over each other making sure the service they provide is great, but Monday I went right at 5PM and when they said 20 minutes, I thought fine - I can wait 20 minutes. Well, they didn't even start to look at my car for 25 minutes because there were two cars ahead of mine and then it took another 30 minutes to service. I also asked about the discount card they sell for $8 and the guy had to fill out the expiration date three times because (1) he took the entire signature line to write the date and I complained there was no place left to put my name (2) then he used the same marker and wrote the wrong date and then (3) I told him to use the ink pen instead of the marker. He said it wouldn't work, but used it because I said so and low and behold--it did work. Gees. And then when I got my vehicle back, there was a greasy fingerprint smudge on my leather passenger seat. Thank God I carry cleaning products. Like I said before, the service is usually great during the day but I'll think twice about going here again after work, that's for sure. read more

I own a 2012 Hyundai Genesis. My first clue that this was not the place to go was when they didn't work on "Bentley's". 1st problem- I had them rotate my tires. When they went to put the hubcap covers back on, they didn't snap one of them and I lost it on the way home (roughly 2 miles). I went back and was told "sorry, sometimes that happens". WTF??? I shouldn't have gone back but I did. . This time everything went seemingly fine. Until today (about a month from my last oil change)... My husband was driving with me and our 2 year old and this horrible sound occurred. We thought it was a flat tired. Pulled over and soon determined that the ENGINE COVER had not been properly fastened AND IT FELL OFF!!!! We pulled into a service station and they were able to quickly fix it and we were on our way. I will NEVER go back there!!! I drive almost 500 miles a week. Just glad this occurred with my husband and not while I was by myself. read more

I'm honestly upset with this place. We waited for two hours for an oil change. The worst customer service. My boyfriend and I came in to this place today. I knew this place was horrible when an older man to my right told me they put the wrong oil filter in his car. Another guy next to me had been waiting over three hours because they couldn't screw a cap on. We were confused as to what was going on with our car and were being ignored multiple times when we tried to ask the guy in red if we were to wait or to pay. The guy in red is named Matt, he tried to blame us for parking our car in the lot and not parking it in the line and saying it was our fault for the long wait. That made me furious. First of all, we did not move our car out of place(line). We didn't even have our keys because the worker there moved our car out of place(line) to fix the older man's car because they put the wrong oil filter in. Being there for two hours, we saw two ladies who stormed out angry. One lady left and she was saying in a loud tone "move my car out of this lot." Another lady told me they were trying to charge her a ridiculously price and she believes that is because she is a woman and would not know much. The sad part is after the long wait, we ended up getting our oil changed because we didn't want to wait there that long for nothing. Out of everything, all I got was an apology and an excused that Matt is new to this jiffy lube. Worst customer service and will not be coming back to this place. read more

Sitting in a hot, non-air conditioned room, waiting for over 45 minutes already, enduring the up-sell, and I'm getting fed up. There's at least 4 or 5 guys working, and only 2 cars. Good thing they're not swamped with customers - id be 100 years old before getting out of here. Hopefully very things going right mechanically.... DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IN SIMI VALLEY!!! AVOID THIS JIFFY LUBE LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!! If they make a mistake or put the wrong oils in your car the owner will just argue with you and you won't get anywhere with him. If you have a nice car, don't even think about visiting this location cause they do NOT know what they are doing imo. I have a Kia Amanti, it takes certain special oil for the transmission. It's in my car manual. Well, Jiffy Lube creates their own version of oils what they consider to be "industry standard oils" acceptable to your car. THEY DO NOT PUT IN WHAT THE MANUFACTURE SAYS! Nor (in my case) did they put in the correct oil required for my car. They flushed my transmission about 5 times so the service girl told me and put in the oil that Jiffy Lube consider appropriate for my car. Without EVER asking me. A few weeks later my car began having more of a jump when I put on the gas and a ticking noise in my engine. After spending $350.00 I come to find out they also put in the incorrect manufactured stated oil for my car as well along with the totally incorrect transmission oil which was the cause of my car problems. The Kia dealership said that Jiffy Lube should have known better and to look at the required oil in my car manual and that they probably didn't hardly ever get any Kia Amantis in their shop. So, afterwards I went back to the Jiffy Lube in Simi Valley with paper PROOF of the required oil for my car and asked for a refund. Well, the service guys said they would have to contact the owner. Weeks later with no reply I demanded them to call the owner and ask for a reply and that I wanted a refund. During all this I was very pleasant and not upset or angry, just wanted my money back for their foul up and putting the wrong oils in my car. So, I get a call from a long distance number on my phone that I didn't answer. I looked up the area code and it was for Big Bear California. A Mountain community about 3 hours away in the San Bernardino Mountains? The OWNER for this horrible Simi Valley Jiffy Lube is in Big Bear Lake California? What? Anyways, I called the number back and I explained the situation to this supposedly owner, or who claimed to be the owner of this Simi Valley Jiffy Lube, and about the paper work and requirements of oil that was suppose to be put in my car and the guy or supposed OWNER I was talking to wanted me to "go get a sample of the oil that the Kia dealership removed from my car." WHAT? He was constant rude as can be and trying to talk over me before I could get a word in edgewise. I had to inform him to stop talking and being abrasive, that he was being rude talking over me and that he was not LISTENING to my complaint. So, he asks me to prove to him that they put in the wrong oils. I had the proper paper work from the dealership and it stating what oil belongs in the transmission. This abrasive ignorant very rude supposedly OWNER on the phone begin to carry on about that they put the correct oil in my car, or what THEY considered to be "the standard" requirement replacement oil for my car. This rude loud ignorant idiot wouldn't shut up. Yap, yap, yap OVER ME. I wasn't getting nowhere after being as pleasant as I could possibly be. I knew I wasn't going to get my refund and this supposedly owner who I was talking to didn't care. ERGH!! I NEVER had this problem at ANY Jiffy Lube location in my life. I WAS a great customer of the Jiffy Lube location in Canoga Park for years when I had my Mitsubishi Gallant and I NEVER once had a problem. Anyways I ended up spending a lot more money at the dealership to correct the errors this Jiffy Lube location made and I still have not ever got a refund from this HORRIBLE location. I GOT RIPPED OFF imo and will have to file a complaint with consumer affairs to get my money back obviously cause I got absolutely nowhere with the owner of this location. Customer satisfaction at this location is a total joke. The replies here by "JIffy L. of Jiffy Lube" to customers are worthless imo. NEVER AGAIN will I go to another Jiffy Lube. I GOT RIPPED OFF!!! I had my oil changed this morning at this location plus filters. I was very pleased with the service especially from Joe.

I came to jiffy lube to get a simple oil change on my Audi a few weeks ago. On Audi's you must remove the splash plates/guards on the bottom of them in order to do the oil change. They never mentioned they were having difficulties with removing or re-applying the plates, although it took two hours, when they told me 20 minutes, so I assumed something was wrong. I went home and noticed the front wheel mud flaps, which are connected to the wheel-well liner were hanging down, almost touching the floor. I snapped them up into place but did no further inspection, thinking it was fine. Two weeks later, I went over a little bump in the road and the wheel-well liner fell down and onto my tire, my tire ran over the lining and it completely ripped the whole piece from of my car. Turns out, they forgot to put the bolts back on the Right and Left wheel liners (which they didn't even need to touch at all). I got a quote from the local German auto repair place. I went back to Jiffy Lube and after they inspected my car for an hour, the manager, Jim, accused me of not driving my car properly because the front bottom of my car was scraped (it is a low car and scrapes often as I drive into certain parking lots). They finally agreed to fix the part for me, but wouldn't pay me to get it fixed elsewhere even after I explained that they were the ones who made the mistake to begin with. The lining they ordered was the wrong color, a light purple/grey color and it doesn't match all the other black wheel linings I have. It also took them another 2.5 hours for them to do a 20 minute job, when they fixed the part. I am very disappointed in their service. Beware, if they tell you it's going to be a 20 minute wait time, prepare to be sitting for two hours. It happened to me three different times. read more

I went here for an oil change and mainly to get the tires filled because my low pressure light came on. When they were done I got in my car and noticed the light was still on. I told the guy it was still on and he told me that he checked the tires and they were fine. He then continued to tell me if I just drive the car a few miles the light will go off on its own. This made me suspicious. I checked the tire pressure later on and it was below safe pressure levels. Stay away from this place. read more

This is my first YELP review, but Hector and Bob at JiffyLube were amazing. We frequently have our cars serviced at this location and they do a great job, but recently my wife's truck overheated. Not knowing where else to turn to, she called JiffyLube where the car was serviced recently. Both Hector and Bob were kind enough to drive out to her location to make sure the issue did not relate to a recent service. They diagnosed the truck (it was unrelated to the service) and helped to get her to JiffyLube for the repair. They truly went well beyond in helping her out. So this is my first review ever, I usually don't care enough to come on these things BUT these guys really hit it put of the park. I came in with my car at what seemed the busiest and almost closing time. I've never gone by my self so even though I didn't intend to wait I inquired about their services. I think the guys name was vince who helped me out. He was super nice very professional and with out any pressure convinced me to wait. Time flew by while he explained their procedures. I usually go to Valvoline express care in the car wash across the street as they give a free car wash with the oil change but my car was clean and I had a $10 off coupon for Jiffy Lube so I thought I would give it a whirl. Big mistake as first they tried to up sell me and when I refused they were very indifferent towards me. I wanted to get out of there so I did not check my dipstick but when I got home I checked and the oil was still dark which tells me they never changed the full 5 quarts of oil that I paid for. I bought a Groupon for this specific location yesterday. Before I even had a chance to park my car one of the workers approached my car to inform me that they did not have an oil filter for my 1999 VW Cabrio. I asked if they could get one. Then they asked me what type of oil change I bought on Groupon to which I responded, conventional for which I paid $29. They informed me that since my car was VW that it took a european oil that would be $119 to replace. I told them I was pretty sure it took conventional. This is the second time I have gone to this location and left without an oil change. The first time I went there with a Dodge Caravan at 5pm and, even though there were no other customers there, they told me it was too late to do an oil change. Don't these oil changes only take about 15 minutes? I ended driving all the way to Woodland Hills on that occasion to the Jiffy Lube there, arriving at 5:30pm and got my oil changed there even though there were about four cars ahead of me. Today I ended up taking my car to Brake Masters who explained that my car did, indeed, take conventional oil, but that because it was a VW something had to be floated, so a little more work was involved. I got my oil change done for only $19.99! I will definitely be returning to Brake Masters for my oil changes from now on. Hopefully, I can get a refund from Groupon because these guys at Jiffy Lube in Simi Valley do not want to work! read more

i went this jiffy lube today thinking it would be quick i got in before noon about 11:45 there was one car in a stall already and no other customers before me. i was there untill almost 1 , they tried to upsell me on everything under the sun, guess my power steering fluid was low they told me it was almost dry hmmmmm shouldnt i have had some sort of steering issues if it was that low, anyways i was told i had to have the stering fluid flushed as ther was a clog in the line ....how do they know there is a clog if they are not tearing the car apart but whatever, then i was told i had a brake light and lic. plate lights out at 5.99 a bulb that adds up i said on go ahead and replace thoose, then about 20 min later the guy comes in and tells me " um you actully have 4 of 5 bulbs out in the break light that are out, at that point i told them never mind the break light i will have my husband replace them, the guy said are you sure he knows what he is doing that can cause issues if not done right. its a freaking lightbuld and yes he does he has been working on cars longer then that young kid has been living. i felt like i was being treated like a child that knows nothing about cars, newflash jiffy lube dont treat your female customers like they are clueless, i too have been working on cars now im not saying im anykind of car expert but i sure as heck no my way around a garage, should have done my oil change my self and not got lazy but going to this overpirced sexest shop. read more
