This is my second time at this facility in the last year. The first time I had a problem with the staff pushing unwanted stuff an arguing with me over synthetic oil! Anyway I came back just for the standard oil change nothing fancy an had my doubts, but I like the ease of just pulling in an waiting. I was standing outside just wandering around an heard my unfavorite attendant "Ricardo" refer to me as the " pinche way " with the Honda . So at the time I had to pay I asked the cashier who he was calling pinche way an of course they denied even saying it! Bottom line is the guys are disrespectful. They always offer you services based on your vehicles manufacturer recommendations but if you aren't interested no one pushes you to do the service. I never feel pressure here. I was very pleased with this Jiffy Lube. Of course it's annoying to have to get your oil changed. On this visit, I had my 1 year old son with me. So it was great that they were able to take my car in right away. They were so fast in getting my car done so they could get me on my way. I really appreciated their service. read more

I've been going to this shop for a while. They seem to change crews after every other visit. On one occasion, they took out my air filter and lost the nuts that hold the air filter in place. On another occasion, the guy changing my oil filter was too lazy to remove the cover and broke the darn thing. I didn't notice this until weeks later. Jiffy Lube sucks big time. Find a dependable local mechanic instead. read more

If there was no stars it would of got it. I came here because I'm in town for the week. When I arrived I showed the man that I had a coupon on my phone for 21.99 service. He said I had to print it. I went around the corner unloading my two small children and paid 6.00 then went back waited 15 more mins and then they wouldn't service my car. I explain to them I receive service from jiffy lube in San Diego all the time and it was due for an oil change. They blew me off and refused to give me information about their store location and manager. I was very upset and saw that they on average were charging 60 for an oil change while I waited for nothing. In addition they tried to keep my coupon. I assume they were annoyed at having to honor the coupon since they made me jump through hoops to print it. They were rude from start to finish and wasted my time. read more

First time at this particular Jiffy Lube and all went well. I arrived and someone immediately met me at my car. I told him what I needed to have done and they took care of everything within about 15 minutes. Often you get a hard sell from some of the other Jiffy Lube's but this one didn't do that. They had a couple of recommendations, one of which I took advantage of, the other I told him not at this time and they moved on to finish up the work. The men that were working there all seemed like they were having a good time and they definitely did a good job. I will be back. read more

I would discourage anyone and everyone from using the Jiffy Lube service at 1515 Los Angeles Ave in Simi Valley, CA. My reasons are several and stated below: I am a woman in my late 70s ... on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, I pulled in to this Jiffy Lube location at 10:40am and told the man that met me that I needed to know if I would be able to be in and out by 11:30am, as I had to leave for an appt. he assured me he could have me in and out within 25 minutes. Trusting and believing his word, I proceeded. Approx 20 minutes later, another man came into the waiting area and proceeded to tell me what all 'needed to be done'. Speaking rapidly and almost inaudible, he began telling me that my tires showed the 'need of rotation', giving me a short explanation. When I reacted surprised, he then proceed to give me a further explanation about leaving tires in one position too long, etc. After he finished his dissertation, I stated how interesting it all was since I had JUST HAD BRAND NEW TIRES put on 2 WEEKS PRIOR! Without word or hesitation, he proceeded quickly to the next item - he said my brake fluid was low and that I needed to have the entire system drained (a cleaning process was described). Having only fluid added in the past, I requested to only have it topped off. Another dissertation followed, telling that to add fluid, mixing with the old, would contaminate the 'good fluid' and ruin my brake system. I responded by asking again to just having the fluid added (which was NOT done). There were two other smaller issues on the estimate that I won't go into; however, an equal surprise that I received was when he asked my name, followed by requesting address, phone number, etc. REALLY?? I explained that we should be in their system since being with Jiffy Lube for well over 20 years. His reply was that there was no proof we had ever been to Jiffy Lube. Being somewhat shocked and a bit rattled, I didn't think to mention for them to check my sticker on the windshield that is placed there each and every time we had the oil changed. The thought came to me after I had driven away; I instantly looked up and sure enough, there was the outline of where the old sticker had been removed and the new one placed directly below! This is 'false and pressure salesmanship' at its best! I plan on writing the Jiffy Lube Headquarters to let them know that this form of service still exists in their company. Their was a big publication regarding this exact type of operation a few years ago ... and it continues. With this type of service, Jiffy Lube will end up down the tube! read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I took my car to this jiffy lube 3 weeks ago for an oil change. It was fine when I took it on. When I bought it home that night it was leaking a lot of oil. I brought it back in and they were very rude. Said they were busy and it would take at least an hour. I explained that I had to pick up my son and I was very worried about driving it. Said he couldn't do anything about it. I showed him a picture of the oil leak and said it had been fine when I brought it in. I decided I had to wait since I was too worried about driving it. They looked and said the gasket wore out. I asked how it could've worn out the day I got the oil change. They said it happens and changed it for free. I left and that night oil was pouring out of it again. I took it right back and they said they asked how I knew it was oil? They said it could be power steering fluid or the transmission. Power steering fluid is red but ok. They said they had told my husband the power steering was leaking. They hadn't and it wasn't. Took it to friends in Anaheim to look. They had tightened this gasket too much (probably the first time too) and had NOT EVEN changed the oil filter. They had also not tightened the drain plug and didn't catch it on any of the three tries. This was the worst experience I have ever had and can't believe I had to pay for them to mess up my car and not even hangs the oil filter. DO NOT GO HERE read more

This is probably by far my favorite place to get a oil change. Great location and Great customer service at an affordable price. The employees there friendly and always there to give the best service. I went there last week to get my oil change and I didn't wait that long approximately 15-20 minutes which isn't too bad for a Saturday afternoon. I was shown and told what they were going to do by Ricardo Rios, he explained everything throughly and why I needed certain things as well than an oil change and gave me a estimate and made me feel like my car was in good hands, a really great employee! Jiffy Lube really cares about there customers compared to other places I've taken my car before. If you need a oil change I recommend going to this location and having Ricardo do your oils change! Went it to get an oil change and it went as smooth as butter. I had to wait 30m or so before Joe could see my car, but when he did it barely took 20m for him to not only change my oil, but fix a brake light and replace my wiper fluid for practically no cost at all. Joe was super polite, and didn't try to upsell me, just made suggestions (which I really appreciated). Overall, a great experience. read more

This Jiffy Lube's service was great! The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, but not "pushy". Everything was explained up front and agreed upon before the service started. The service was fast and efficient! The waiting room was clean and orderly! Very satisfied and will be bringing my cars here to get the oil changed! They can also replace bulbs on headlights for a fraction of what my dealer charged me the last time I had them replaced. read more

Dominique is a horrible person, who took advantage of the trust I placed on his words when l asked how much an oil change was. He said $30, showed it to me on the computer and had me sign a paper copy. The copy was altered with additional charges. I paid $75, not $30, he is a thief. When my wife called to ask for an explanation and names. He said he had no record of who charged him. He lied again as his name was on the receipt and he was the person at the begining and end of all transactions. Also he refused to give us the name of his supervisor. Sounds like he is trying to hide something. This business is disgraceful as you can see from other reviews, the only person who gets good ones is Joe. I have had oil changes all over southern California, labor on an oil change is not $40, that is for 2 hours of work, not 20 minutes. Time to call the better business bureau. I have been a customer of this Jiffy Lube for many years. Today, was informed that Jiffy switched over to Castrol Motor Oil and as a result, their prices went up. Further, in spite of seeing coupons offered here on Yelp, was told they no longer have discounts or coupons. An oil change was $106 out the door for my Subaru. The nearby dealer informed me the same service would be $60. The very nice service person said I was paying for the convenience of using Jiffy Lube over the dealer. I went in to this Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed before I drove from LA back to Seattle. They suggested a number of things I should do to the car aside from the oil change, but other than refilling the coolant, I declined. They changed the oil, topped off the coolant, I dropped my accompanying friend back at her house, and then drove towards the freeway. Suddenly, I saw smoke/steam coming from my hood. This had NEVER happened to my car before. I pulled over, opened the hood, and called my dad. He decided they must have overfilled the coolant (it was above the full line) and it was spraying on the engine. No big. I let the car idle to get rid of the steam, then got on the freeway. I looked at the temperature gauge and it was shooting up and over hot. I freak out, pull over, and end up calling AAA to tow may car to a car repair shop. The repair shop informs me that someone at Jiffy Lube must have forgotten to screw the radiator cap back on, causing my engine to rapidly overheat and blow a head gasket (at the least). We contact Jiffy Lube, but they for the most part blew us off until we got a hold of someone at corporate. They eventually agreed to pay for the repair, but we ended up trashing my car because it cost almost as much to fix my car as it was worth. The whole experience was a nightmare. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS JIFFY LUBE. read more
