I went in to this Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed before I drove from LA back to Seattle. They suggested a number of things I should do to the car aside from the oil change, but other than refilling the coolant, I declined. They changed the oil, topped off the coolant, I dropped my accompanying friend back at her house, and then drove towards the freeway. Suddenly, I saw smoke/steam coming from my hood. This had NEVER happened to my car before. I pulled over, opened the hood, and called my dad. He decided they must have overfilled the coolant (it was above the full line) and it was spraying on the engine. No big. I let the car idle to get rid of the steam, then got on the freeway. I looked at the temperature gauge and it was shooting up and over hot. I freak out, pull over, and end up calling AAA to tow may car to a car repair shop. The repair shop informs me that someone at Jiffy Lube must have forgotten to screw the radiator cap back on, causing my engine to rapidly overheat and blow a head gasket (at the least). We contact Jiffy Lube, but they for the most part blew us off until we got a hold of someone at corporate. They eventually agreed to pay for the repair, but we ended up trashing my car because it cost almost as much to fix my car as it was worth. The whole experience was a nightmare. I have been a customer of this Jiffy Lube for many years. Today, was informed that Jiffy switched over to Castrol Motor Oil and as a result, their prices went up. Further, in spite of seeing coupons offered here on Yelp, was told they no longer have discounts or coupons. An oil change was $106 out the door for my Subaru. The nearby dealer informed me the same service would be $60. The very nice service person said I was paying for the convenience of using Jiffy Lube over the dealer. Perhaps...but I wont be back. read more

Warning do not go to this location. I would give them a negative 5 if it let me.They will definitely rip you off. the main guy didn't even understand what I was telling him to do with his broken english I couldn't understand what he was trying to tell me either. so i went to get my oil changed and they change my filter which didn't really need to be done charged 20 dollars then charged 15 dollars for the labor then changed my license light bulb that they claim was broken then he tells me the cheapest they have is 39 dollar oil change. They failed to mention that jack in the box right next store has a 20 dollar oil change coupon with 2 free tacos. I came back to ask him about the free tacos and why it says you have a 20 dollar service but he told me earlier cheapest list 39 dollar service and he says I don't understand you already had service , I'm trying to ask him why he didn't mention it before and he says he doesn't have any coupons for the tacos and it is up to a customer to go to jack in a box and mention it or you don't get the deal. he did not apologize or give it to me and did not refund the difference which is what he should have done. The owner should be ashamed of himself any rips people off. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU WANNA BE RIPPED OFF BIG TIME. I even mentioned before and the second time that I am a single mother 2 children and and I barely make any money and I need the cheapest service just to get by and they can care less. they do tell you no problem your next but you will be sitting there for a long time and other charges always come up to check your bill. read more

First time at Jiffy Lube. Angel and his team were fast and polite. Tried to upsell some filters and I probably needed to replace but looking to sell the car so denied additional products. No hard sell. I would recommend this service for others who want to get oil changed quickly and not pay incredibly high dealership rates. read more

I have been to this facility 3 - 4 times over the past year. Mainly because I have a fleet car and it is close. Yet, every time I go, no matter what time of day, there is over an hour wait. This just does not make sense. There is no such thing as a quick oil change and the level of communication between the customers and the staff is not good. Granted I was in a fleet car, and not paying the bill, but there were recommended services that were completed without my approval nor knowledge. Not sure that I will return here. read more

I came here to get my oil changed and from the moment I pulled up I was helped within seconds. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Joe went over everything that was going to be done to my car and what was recommended with me which was very helpful considering I know nothing about cars. I got my motor oil changed at Jiffy and I was reasonably pleased with their service and quick wait time. With their manager's special, the oil change is actually very affordable ( I called in to make the appointment and was informed of the special). They offer coffee at the waiting room and I chatted with the staff for a little before the job was done within 20 mins. The only downside is that they do try to recommend more than what I need at the moment. I will still go back again for the quick service and convenient location. read more

I've been going to this jiffy lube for years. The service is great but some of the workers concentrate to much on getting sales then actual customer service. When i arrived i asked for a simple oil change and nothing more, i was then told everything else i needed and i said no thank you! Joshua was the one ringing me up & i almost felt as if he was annoyed at the fact that i didn't buy anything else! He also was rude to the workers & was telling them to hurry up. I personally would rather have my car done right and at their pace then rushed and wrong! Angel happened to be the gentleman servicing my car & he was very professional. Today I stopped by to have my oil topped off. I was passed my warranty. So I was told I would have to pay for the quart that I was down. I got out of the car to pay when the technician told me it was on the house. Needless to say I was surprised and very pleased. I will be returning for my next oil change. read more

I went in for what I thought was a simple oil change, but learned there is a lot more to it! Hector, the manager went to great lengths to accommodate me, my Groupon and other special requests. He made a call to HQ to get it worked out. I was updated and treated with respect throughout the entire process. Best yet, I STILL got out of there with my oil changed in about 30 minutes (extra time was my asking for extras). If less than 1 star was possible, that is the rating I would give. After waiting for an hour (only 3 other cars present when I arrived), I was told by the service person in charge (Ricardo) , that they were out of stock in the oil used for my car (due to the company changing brands). Instead, he attempted to up-sale me on the more expensive oil (without adjustment in price to match what I have used previously). When I asked why I was not informed by him or a posted sign an hour previously, his response was that they had to move the car into the bay first. When I reminded him that he could of gotten those details on my car from the computer or simply asked me when I arrived, his response was "that's not our process". I guess it's also not that store's "process" to provide service that encourages their customers to return. Will never used that location again, extremely slow and poor customer service. read more

Tried again today and was told that in order to leave the car (I had a ride) I had to wait for them to inspect car.... After waiting 20 min with no one looking at the car, I left. COME AT YOUR OWN RISK! For Some reason my original review does not show up, coincidentally it happened right after Jeff responded 8 days later on this site, despite the fact I had already talked to him multiple times before about what they did to the Honda Civic I went in with. What was suppose to be a simple oil change has turned into a nightmare. This company is shady and does not have the costumers best interest at heart, they try to protect themselves and deny what is clearly their fault. THE CAR NEEDS A NEW ENGINE NOW. I didn't even make it home after having the oil change and even after a diagnoses from a certified mechanic showed it was their fault they want the car torn down more because they insist its not their fault. The poor guy at the place where I took the car to get looked at called me yesterday and told me a guy from Jiffy Lube corporation called him and harassed and belittled him. They ruined a perfectly good car and instead of rectifying the situation and making it right, they are still not admitting fault and now Jeff is not returning my phone calls. When I arrrived at this location, I was the first one there. I was approached by an employee with a red shirt (Hector or Sammy) . I told him that I have a fleet vehicle through Enterprise. He asked me, "Do I have any time for additional services?" I replied, " Naw. I just need an oil change. I'll be switching company cars shortly." Within 5 min, another customer arrives. I took a seat and waited for about 30min. The customer that arrived after me was getting ready to leave. I asked an employee that was wearing a black shirt if the car is ready. He told me, "Enterprise has a new approval process in place. We sent the oil change request through the computer 20 mins ago and we're still waiting." I make a phone call to Enterprise fleet. The Enterprise representative tells me that the oil change request had been approved 20 min ago. They(Jiffy Lube) just sent a new request for air cabin filter and engine filter replacement. I told her to deny it since I didn't ask for it. She denies the request and I tell the jiffy lube employees that I only asked for an oil change. The employees were telling me that it's part of the service and that it wasn't "extra." Which of course is a complete lie, since you do charge Enterprise for it. Plus, I specifically told them that all I wanted was an oil change. As soon as the request was denied, miraculously I was ready to go. No mention of oil change request still pending. I'm disgusted by their unethical business practices and would no longer take my vehicles there for service. I voiced my displeasure with your employees but they continued to deny their shady tactics. As I'm leaving the facility the employee with a red shirt tells me in a condescending way "Have a good day." I will, since I won't ever go to Jiffy Lube plus I filed a formal complaint with their corporate office. read more

Con Artists - Went in for oil change 11-14-16 Showed coupon and they asked me to sign work order at full price. Mistake one. During service was hit way too many times for service and work not needed. I explained i have my own tools and time, but just wanted oil changed. Front counter guy Richardo is fast talking slick Willey and final bill was full price. mistake two. Asked him to apply coupon and said count not find it in the computer system so input different coupon and bill still not at negotiated price. mistake three. Finally had to tell him if bill was not as negotiated would not pay higher amount. Ricardo now offered to call the police since i would not pay the higher amount. mistake four. Bill finally amended bill to negotiated amount and Ricardo was mad and said did not want to mess with me and wanted me out of the office. Now the customer is at fault and being demeaned for wanting the bill as quoted. Mistake five. Paid as agreed and left. never coming back. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I went there close to 5 on Friday 11/11/2016 for a simple oil change, on my way home from this establishement I ended up broken down and had to push the car to the side of the road only 10 minutes after they "changed" the oil. A nice mechanic and police officer that helped me as i was stranded said there was no oil in the car. I called this Jiffy Lube and Ricardo sent two of his employees to check out the car. They said they would take it back to Jiffy Lube to look at it and we offered to have it towed, they said no they have it. I went to pick it up yesterday 11/13 and of course they said it's not their fault and there is oil in the car and its just coincidental bad luck. I went in with a running, perfectly fine 2012 honda civic and 10 minutes after they touched it and a weekend of them having it I now need a new engine. DO NOT GO HERE!! The manager didn't even have the decency to come to talk to us, he sent out one of his technicians. I now have to figure out a way to have them pay for the damages they caused after what was suppose to be a simple oil change. Never Again!!! read more

**DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE** My first experience with this place, they didn't put back the air filter after they took it out to show me that it should be replaced. I should have know better than to go back to this place. I went back for a basic oil change and when I left, I started driving and my car began to accelerate on its own, then pulled over at the nearest shopping center and powered off the car. When I tried to start it again I couldn't remove it from park and it was self accelerating on its own but I couldn't drive it. It was the scariest experience I have had. Luckily for me a very nice person who happened to be a mechanic stopped to help me out. I tried calling jiffy lube to tell them that they needed to come and fix the car. I was told by the attendant that he would have to call his manager and see what they could do, this person was cold and didn't seem to be concerned as I spoke in a shaken voice. I went to jiffy lube today and was greeted immediately by Hector he was very polite and escorted me to the waiting area. While I was walking I saw two more technicians dressed professionally. I asked Hector how long the wait would be and he said about 45 mins. It sounded a bit weird seeing that there were only 2 cars ahead but he explained that the cars were more than an oil change he then apologized for the inconvenience so he offered me a discount if I waited. I understood and waited! I was amazed by how fast the two technicians were moving to get the cars out. a new employee Josue (never been helped by him before at least) was moving very quick but when he saw me glancing he walked over to let me know that they will get my car in soon, I found that very reassuring,you don't typically see that kind of customer service I also asked him a few questions and he answered them very professionally and I had no worries trusting him with my 2013 Ford. These technicians know what they're doing! Finally my car got in and Angel was very informative and detailed about every services they offered and what my manufacturer recommends. he wasn't pushy either which was a great change of pace since almost everywhere else I go I feel pressured into buying a bunch for my car ( especially being a girl!!!.)I just got the standard signature oil change and they got started on it very quick. They washed my dirty windows and even passed the vacuum(wasnt expecting that)!! My car was finished before the 45 mins which was great! I finally paid and got $10 off just like Hector had told me. Angel escorted me to my car and showed me my oil level and advised me to what they have done to my car. He than gave me a card about having a WOW experience and this is why I am here. I had an amazing experience and I will be coming back soon with my other cars and I am recommending everyone I know to this Jiffy lube. I do believe there is new management and it is great! The only thing I did not like was that they seemed short staffed. I only saw three technicians working at the time i was there and its a Monday i would think that's a busy day,but I had a WOW experience from the moment I got here starting with Hector, to the quick technician Josue, and with informative Angel. Horrible!! They seem somewhat nice but my guess is they are lazy. The first time I got my oil changed there it took 1 hour and 30 mins with no cars in front of me and they spilled fuel injector cleaner all over my car! Seems kind of a long time for a "quick" oil change and it is not that hard to pour fuel injector cleaner into a gas tank. When my oil change came up again I figured I would give them another shot. I stopped by 3 different times and each time the wait was over an hour, 2 of those time there was no line and all the bays were not full. After the 3rd time I ended up going down the street to express lube and they got me in and out in less then 30 mins. I passed by Jiffy Lube on they way home and there was nobody left only 30 mins later. I thought your wait was "going to be close to 1 hour and 30 mins"! Guess you all are just lazy and do not care since you get paid either way. Sucks for the consumer! THEY SUCK GO ELSEWHERE, TRUST ME YOU WILL BE DONE 3 TIMES AS FAST. read more
