I have been using Jiffy Lube for several years now. Recently I moved to Genoa and needed an oil change. Jiffy Lube Sycamore was my obvious choice, seeing as how I've always had good experiences with the company. The staff and operation at the particular Jiffy Lube is simply spectacular. Friendly and knowledgeable with all the charm and care that I would imagine a corner garage back in the 1950's would have. Everyone working as a team, making sure all I's are dotted and T's are crossed. In particular I'd like to recognize Barb and Darien as exceptional team players and brand ambassadors. I took my Audi back in today for a small issue I had since my initial oil change two weeks ago. These two great people remembered me and got the problem handled and quickly. Tried to charge me for a 39 second check to see why my engine lite was on; my new truck is under warranty ; when I said I will not be back ; the manager came out & said I will give you the code: ever other oil change place I have been to do not ever ask for$30 to do this simple request that parts stores & other oil change places do for free; the cost of my oil change is $250 ; that in it self is a another reason to not nickel & dime a customer: read more

Employee did not inform me of any information regarding my car since the start of the service. Im not sure if he thought because I was a young girl coming in for an oil change, he didn't have to provide/show me the status of my car. Additionally, my service was the highest price it's ever been. Employee said " Prices went up" as I tried to get the student discount/coupon in my email, which also it wasn't applied to total amount. This would be an outstanding location to put a Jiffy Lube. Hopefully someday they do someday. I have several vehicles we use for work. We have done a total of 3 oil changes the 7 times we've been here trying to support a new business. We have been given the excuses the last 4 times we have been here over 3 week period that they don't have enough employees, they're closing in 30 mins (430), and today the systems are down. So here now I sit at Vavoline, a little south, to get my full synthetic oil change. It is kind of a shame, the people are nice, they're friendly and attentive, just can never get in. If it was not for the staff,, this would have been 1 star. So, I will be back to doing them at Valvoline when I don't have time to do my self. Sorry guys, but we do about 3 oil changes a month and it's hard to find time as it is. Really tried to give it a chance. read more

Mike K I was the next car to pull in. It took 38 mins for the girl in front of me to get an oil change. I've been in the bay for 27 mins and counting. In that time all four people working took a five min break standing and talking and laughing while me and two customers are waiting. Don't tell me it takes that long to drain the oil. ........ wait the girl just came in to tell me they don't have the tool to remove my oil filter. They did the last oil change on the car. It took 28 mins. To tell me that. Don't waste your money and time here. read more

I was told when I drove in that it would be 15 minutes and I should take a seat. 45 minutes later, I am still waiting. They failed to tell me that they only had 2 employees. Very rude older woman manager is another reason not to go. Lastly, they did not vacuum the car or check air in tires. read more

I drive a fleet vehicle and stopped in here to get my required oil change/tire rotation performed. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Service was fast and courteous. I will use this location as much as possible. 10/10!!!! read more

I would like to start this off saying that part of this was my girlfriends fault. We took in her truck for a new set of brakes on the rear axle. She was supposed to call ahead of time to get them ordered, and forgot. Now to the real review. It took almost six and a half hours to get one single set of brakes done. The mechanic who preformed this was newer, but from what we were told not only thinks every car that comes in needs brakes,, but also had to watch videos on what to do. It also took an hour just to take the tires off. Not only that, but apparently the emergency brake which was held on with 'an adhesive' fell off adding something else to the list. I would like to say that the supervisor on this shift is extremely kind, updated us on everything going on, and helped to keep us informed and was adamant about the disapproval of how long this took. I don't think I will be coming back for anything but an oil change after this. read more

Took my work van here for just a simple oil change. For starters they were unable to even able to lift the hood up and keep it up. I had to go out there to show them how to keep it up and get it back down - simply extending it all the way open to engage hydraulics. I was there over 2 hours for just an oil change!! They also told me I had an excessive transmission leak but there was absolutely nothing wrong. Then two days later the oil light came on. Took it to my dealership and they said it was about 2 quarts short of oil. No one seemed to have a clue what was going on. I won't be going back there. read more

Took car in for oil change - car has 26K miles on it and is still under warranty- they tried telling me I had water in my oil and came into lobby holding my oil cap as "evidence" as such, and recommended I have engine flush - the cap had no signs of the milky white residue common with water or antifreeze getting into oil from bad head gasket, and told them no- had oil changed and went to Kia dealer - they told me there was nothing that indicated any problems in car and that an engine flush could void my warranty as it's not on the approved lubricant list- so either they were mistaken or flat out trying to scam me read more

My first time at this location. It's nice and clean and new. They have a cooler full of free bottled water, which was nice. They did an oil change and rotated my tires. The manager, Barb, was very friendly and explained all the items on my service report. And she helped me get credit for an online coupon. I'll be back! read more

Only positive comment -- Techs are friendly. However the quality of work is poor. They installed low beam headlights incorrectly while damaging the high beam alignment. Repair cost 120.00 by qualified Jeep dealer. Did not have oil change (their specialty ??) but can not recommend for additional services. They supplied headlights for inflated price with no additional labor fee. Tech had substantial difficulty with procedure. Based on the total experience you get what you pay for -- Better off having professionals perform service. read more

I went to this Jiffy lube location to grab a quick Oil Change, The employees were very nice and professional they had a whole crew when I went. They kept me informed on what was going on I never received any other work besides a oil change. I'm a satisfied costumer, I would go back to this location. Only thing I don't like is the price of an oil change my old mechanic would charge me $60 for everything including air in the tires. As I look around though the price seems to be the same at other oil change stops in the area so I'm assuming it's just the regular. read more

Best experience I have had at a Jiffy lube! They explain everything they offer to you, and the free top offs! They are very friendly and don't try to upsell you on anything! The waiting room is very pleasant with a coffee maker, water and a TV! Manager was very friendly and even the customers/other workers were friendly as well. They are busy sometimes due to being understaffed but their quality of service has not gone down at all! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. While I was getting my oil changed on Wednesday 4/6, I was made aware that my car would need spark plugs in the next few months as they were rated in the "yellow zone" upon manufacturers recommendation and "testing". I told them, "Okay, I'll have it taken care of next time then." I paid $123 for my oil change as well as a new air filter. A few hours after leaving I noticed my car felt like it was "skipping" and idling hard. I took it to a mechanic the next day and was told I suddenly need spark plugs for $500. I called the store and talked to the assistant manager (who I will say she does try her best to take care of customers and be personable), and she referred me to the district manager, Calvin. I called him and explained the situation, and told him because somehow one of his technicians did something to mess up my car, I would need the $123 refunded so I could take it to get fixed properly after apparent damage being caused at his location. I called 2 times to follow up that day as he kept saying "he would get back to me". The following day I called again, and again I got "let me get back to you". He happened to be at the store so I went in to speak to him because I was tired of being blown off. I told him I don't trust anybody there to attempt to fix my car considering what had happened after a simple oil change, as well as being told while I was paying on 4/6 that "they have all new staff, one of who has never even put air in a tire." He did nothing to help me other than say it wasn't his technicians. The integrity and customer service of the district manager is a joke, so save yourself the hassle of encountering more problems and extra bills, because as long as the store is bringing in money to make him look good, he's okay with his staff not taking care of your vehicle. Go somewhere other than Jiffy Lube! read more

Should be Iffy Lube. First of all only one stall open. Total up sell person at the front desk. Took way to long for an oil change. After all of the pushing for additional service they forgot to fill up the car's windshield washer fluid. Forget all the up selling and focus on what works. read more
