It took sometime to fix but I was informed of that prior to them starting the work. They kept me in the loop of what was going on several times and I appreciated that. Not sure if they knowingly put oil into my car that wasn't right or if they thought what they were using was fine, but both are pretty scary scenarios for a place you're supposed to be able to trust with your car's engine. Not to absolve myself of any responsibility as the car owner but you think you can believe what professionals tell you. After extensive damage to my engine from the poor oil selection I see this isn't the case. In the future I'd hope if they don't carry the correct kind a car needs they would let the owner know. read more

Things have changed at the Oro Valley AZ location. They went from good to awful. They now syphon oil out the top leaving all the dirtiest oil in the engine. I paid for full synthetic and they pumped the cheap oil into my engine. And they pulled the oil filter out the top of the engine and poured oil all over the engine. OMG. After being a Jiffy Lube customer for over 40 years, I will never go there again. read more

I can't tell you as a woman how frustrating it is to experience dealing with car maintenance and repair shops. They always treat you like you're stupid or try to hit on you or generally make you feel uncomfortable. Going to this Jiffy Lube was so refreshing! There was no weirdness, they were up front on costs and treated you so nicely. They worked really fast and did extra services including cleaning bird poop off my moon roof, vacuuming my car, and topping off my other fluids for free! It was amazing!!! We dropped our 2011Mini Cooper Countryman S off for an oil and filter change. While waiting in the lobby I heard "where is the oil filter on this car!" not comforting. They when they gave the car back to me they said the cold air control valve (maybe no right name was broken ) where the air is regulated getting to the fuel injection. However, my husband had checked out the car prior to me taking it to the shop and nothing was broken. I will give them the benefit of the doubt on that as my husband might of missed something. However, when I got the car back and drove it for an hour from Jiffy Lube back home, it leaked oil all over the floor. We checked and it appeared to be leaking from the drain plug (maybe they forgot the washer or did not have the plug in right?). Anyway, it had never leaked on the garage floor since we owned it which is 10 years. I took it back and they took the car into the shop and a while later said it was just spilled oil not cleaned off when they did the original work. Kind of suspicious as you would think any spilled oil would have burned off due to the heat of the engine in the hour plus drive I had to go home. Anyway, whatever they did it appears the oil leak has stopped and my husband said he would fix the broken air control valve himself as he did not feel comfortable letting them do anything else to the care. So yes, my experience could have been better and I should not have to make another trip to get the oil leak problem corrected which cost me in time round trip travel 2 hours and the time it took them to correct it. I guess I should have been forewarned as there was a sign outside the place saying "hiring now, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY" read more

Stopped here on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. and drove immediately into the service bay. We needed an oil change prior to setting off on a long road trip and they took care of it promptly. Let's face it! Getting the oil changed on your vehicle is not exactly something you look forward to. It requires spending money and time you'd rather use elsewhere. You are almost guaranteed that the technicians will find something else wrong with your car that requires immediate attention. As a woman, who knows nothing about cars, I am trusting and willing to accept whatever prognosis is given and have them proceed with the repair (no matter what cost) for fear of breaking down one dark and stormy night in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone service and not another town for miles and miles .... ( I have a good imagination). Anyway! This Jiffy Lube location in Oro Valley will make you thrilled to go have an oil change! Okay, maybe not thrilled but it will be quick and painless! The smiles at this location are contagious and although they will find something else in your vehicle that needs repair, they will completely explain what and why it needs to be done, give you a quote (and they will do the price match thing), and the best part explain the timeline as to when the repair actually needs to be done. Got my oil changed here today. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice waiting area with water and coffee. My car was finished in about 20 minutes and besides changing my oil, my fluids were topped off, air was put in my tires and my floor was vacuumed all for a fair price. Not too shabby. I visited this location the do an oil change. During the process, they stripped the oil plug from my oil pan which I didn't discover until 6 months later when I did another oil change. It cost me $800 to replace plus another $150 for a rental car while the part was ordered. Jiffy Lube REFUSED to pay for this because they said their service was only guaranteed for 3 months. Well guess what? This wasn't "service", this was you damaging my car and refusing to take responsibility for it. If I had taken it anywhere else, I wouldn't be out almost $1K. Never go to Jiffy Lube ever again...I implore all of you! read more

DUMBASSES. After reading such great reviews I decided to go here! And after 45 mins waiting, I get up to see why the people who came in after me have been helped and I haven't! My car was still sitting where I pulled it up to and no one has since touched it. I apparently just chose the wrong lane that broke down. Instead of doing what a good business should and move my car from said broken lane to one of the working ones and get my oil changed before the people who came after me, they just let it sit there! And their explanation was "it's crazy today". Are you kidding me?! And after offering no help, I got my keys back and left. These dumbasses will not get a single penny from me. Well, lets start: Had to get to Fla for work. Gotta get the fliuds done on the truck. Hey look there's a place! No waiting signs out front-right on! What a fucking joke.First off if I had a bunch of young men working for me, which I do on almost every job I go on, I would fire them.The yelling from the pit to the guys on top, way to much. We can hear you in the waiting to long room! So I spend $300.00. Yeah thats right, three hundred. I come back at 2:00pm to get my belts changed. Yeah the ones you sold me. Your aldged 'mechanic', the one that wanted to talk about what he used to be, can't do it. really!! After I wait an hour for your 'mechanic' (aledged) to tell me that he doesnt have the 'tool' to change my belts..no joke..there in the morning spen three hun, come back in the afternoon and you can't do the job? I leave, pissed off. drive to autozone, 4 miles away-they will sell me the tool I need for $66.00! hummm...You know If owned this business I would first clean up the men that work for me, clean up the shop to include the boots that left stains on my carpet to clean my windows, and get a mechanic that has the tools and the attitude to do a job that he is paid for. Don't call me a young man, call me mister or heres one how about my name??? Well right down the street from this place is another jiffy lube, maybe I should have gone there. Not happy at all with this Jiffy Lube; They almost lost my business forever. I was not given an option to wait in my own car, and after going inside the building I was ignored for quite some time. I was finally acknowledged later on and they were not quick at all in changing my oil. The woman working at the counter was friendly enough, but it really ticks me off when I'm ignored for a long time by any business. She showed me my cabin filter which I did not want it replaced this time. So anyway, my problem with this place wasn't while at the store, it's after I get home. My glovebox suddenly will not close. And it took me a while to remove the stubborn thing to find out why it wouldn't close. They broke the compartment to my cabin filter, which lies right behind the glovebox. And they didn't even have the decency to tell me that they broke it?! I had to tape it back together. Not a huge deal. But I'm mad at the fact they couldn't even be honest and tell me what had happened. Because if it wasn't for my new boyfriend I don't know if I'd even have been able to figure this out myself as I am sort of terrible with cars... read more

They Killed my car! While changing the oil, they upsold me by convincing me that the differential fluid needed changing too. They DID drain it. They just forgot to refill it! The wheels locked while on I-10 going 65mph. I am lucky to be alive. The dealer and the insurance company both agreed it was 100% the fault of Jiffy Lube. Since Jiffy Lube would not respond to me, the whole mess has been handled over to the Insurance company. Talk to your friends. They got me in instantly, performed my oil change with the heavier weight oil that I requested, and even checked the fluid level in my manual transmission.
