Jiffy Lube isn't so Jiffy. I showed up right at opening at 8:05am. There was only one other car in the bay. The place was like a ghost town even though there were 4 employees on site. When I did see an employee they weren't servicing vehicles. They were walking aimlessly around. Much as Hevee B. Indicated a few posts below the employees seem to have a complete lack of a sense of "Jiffy." For 90% of the time my car was left in the bay unattended to. It took 1.5 hours to get an oil change. I was the second car here for the day. The owner of this place needs to have a talk with their employees or change the name to Lazy Lube. Won't be back here. read more

I dropped in for an oil change today. The guys were so friendly and helpful. While they did a good job letting me know all the options I could "add on", they weren't super pushy. I did go for the headlight cleaning they suggested and was so happy I did! It looks great! I used an online coupon for $20 off and off I went. I will be back. Service was indeed in a jiffy and the staff waa friendly and courteous. But, at the end, I specifically asked if they topped off all my fluids. I knew going in that my windshield washer fluid reservoir was bone dry. They assured me that they took care of it all. On my way out of the lot, tried to clean my windshield...no fluid. Had to turn right back. Still giving 4 stars because I believe that honest mistakes do happen, and everyone deserves grace. Not as fast as I would have hoped. We were probably there about 45 minutes and there was only about one car in front of us and three guys working. That being said, they were all very nice, up front about the price (I have a European car and it costs $119 instead of the cheaper, standard oil change) and they explained everything. They have a process where they check out a bunch of other things before they start (amount of window washer fluid, the state of your window washer blades, etc) probably because they want to upsell you, but they were not pushy. I take my wife's prius in for service here and they do a good job. The prices have gotten higher sometimes costing more than the dealership but if you check for coupons on their website they will honor them. They do a good job of communicating and letting you know how the car is. They can visually show you your air intake filter and if it may need to be replaced. They also make recommendations and upsell services that you may or may not need but that's part of their job and will keep your vehicle working well hopefully. The employees are amiable and do a decent job of performing basic automotive maintenance on vehicles. This is really the highlight of the location. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation and they did a full inspection for me, letting me know everything else that I needed. They cleaned my exterior windows, checked my tire pressure, refilled my tires, and overall handed back a car that felt like it was driving like it was brand new. They were incredibly professional as well as kind, as this is was my first time going to a mechanic and I have very little knowledge on cars. This place is a ripoff. $119.00 for an oil change (5 Qts)-1st they told me they wouldnt fill my Subaru with anything but synthetic oil per thier computer. This 2016 car has NEVER had synthetic oil put in it since it was bew. They charge 10.00/qt for the exact oil GTXMAG 0/20 that Napa sells for 3.60. Tried to charge 4.00 to "top off my coolant shich when I looked it was over the fill line as I keep it. Few choices in Ventura but cross this off your list. Or at the very least coupon up for them I was only able to get a 15 dollar discount. read more

Came in for an oil change on a Friday afternoon. Knowing they could be busy, I was happy to drop off my car and return as late as they wanted. I told them as much when I was finally spoken to. I stood in the waiting room for 10-15 minutes before anyone came to greet me. I was asked to pop my hood and return to the waiting room. After 30 minutes of additional time in the waiting room with nobody looking at my car, I just left, went to another oil change center 1/2 mile away where I was greeted upon entering and handled. Granted Jiffy Lube was likely busy but for 25 of those 30 minutes my car was the only one in line outside of the bay waiting to be attended to. I have had oil changes at this location before and service has been....lackadaisical....but never to this level. This review is not a reflection of Jiffy Lube overall, just this location. I patronized Jiffy Lube in TO for 4+ years and service was much better. This location has lost ~9 full synthetic oil changes/year (3 cars in our household * 2-3 changes per year) to your competition. read more

Ventura Ca Jiffy Lube does a great job every time I take my car in. The employees are very outgoing and friendly and take pride in doing their best. Today Brandon was so helpful and recommended I have them clean and polish a headlamp that was practically opaque. I decided to do it and it's looks practically new He said if it gets cloudy again within a year, JiffyLube policy covers redoing at no charge. very disappointed this time . I have been going here for 10 years . my car takes 9.1 quarts of oil and I make sure to tell them that and they have it in the system. well my car is 4 quarts low . I work from home and only drive it 2 days a week . I do not have a leak and still have 3000 miles left to my next oil change . I spoke with Justin a manager who was no help and told me that my car should have warned me something wrong and that their computer states my car takes 9.1 quarts so tech probably put that in . they have definitely lost a customer and I will make sure to let everyone know not to go there. the employee turn over there is ridiculous. read more

came here for a simple oil change and break flush. my father usually works on my car himself but he's been recently hospitalized. so I've been skeptical to take my car in to be serviced by strangers (he's never trusted these types of companies because they usually upsell you on services you don't need and are just overall sketchy and usually rude know-it-alls) however, I was pleasantly surprised when a younger looking employee named Jordan greeted me with a smile, and after telling him of my negative history with other service places, he was honest and told me it would be cheaper to buy the oil and filter myself, and bring them back for him to instal with just a small labor charge. he got me in and out quickly.
