I went to this place for an oil change and ended up with no car. My car drove in just fine... but when i went to turn it on to leave it made this weird noise for several seconds. I took it straight to getting it checked and there was too much oil and still appeared partly dirty. The oIl was drained and the noise had stopped but took it back to jiffy lube anyway and told them. A couple days later the noise started again and we contacted them again. Now theyre saying they wont fix it because its a sensor or because they dont know what i did when i left, and it must be my fault. No. My car was fine when i pulled in n not when i left. The workers heard it. But now you wont fix it. This is bull! No integrity what so ever! Dont go there. I wish i could go back in time and not get that oil change. I would give 0 Stars if i could I pulled into Jiffy Lube at 5:32 PM with no cars being worked on, just a few employees standing around looking at an older fixed-up car outside that wasn't even being worked on. I was told they "take the last car at 5:30," even though the business doesn't close until 6:00 PM. All I needed was a quick oil change, but they still turned me away. Manny, at front desk, was very rude and condescending when I asked him to check my oil this afternoon.. told me "check your car for what ? didn't you just hear me explain it all to you ?" in an elevated tone then proceeded to ask me "do you even know how many miles are on your car ?" "I don't need to check your car." Poor customer service, called himself a manager but then got an actual manager when I asked for one. Manny even slammed the stapler down at the front desk in front of me after I talked to the real manager about him and then was yelling in the Bay Area on how I didn't need to get my oil checked on my car. Manny talked over me in elevated tone and wouldn't let me explain the situation with my car and my previous oil change and the problem I had. Noticed after oil change the oil pressure was low. I checked and it was low. I was 50 feet from jiffy and went back. They did fill to proper level but some one else also had a Low level that I read On jiffy's reviews. Why do they try to short their customers. I went to this location after not being able to get service at the previous location. Upon arriving I was met by a female supervisor and female mechanic. I was very happy to see that, especially since I didn't see any mechanics at the last location! She was very thorough, checking all the signals and other items while checking off the list. My wife went in for an oil change. We usually go to the dealer. I usually take her car in for the oil change. When she told me how much it was, and I checked the receipt, some things didn't add up to me. So I called to speak to the manager the following day and spoke with Darren. I asked him to go with the receipt with me. What my wife told me and what he claims he asked and told her are two different things. My wife doesn't lie. He claimed that he he offered a full synthetic oil and she refuted and asked for a mixed blend. She knows nothing about oil, period. Full synthetic , mixed blend or any other type. She wouldn't know to ask or refute. She told me all she asked was for an oil change. He charged her for six quarts of oil instead of 5. He claimed that's what his system told him to do... I spoke with the dealership from where we bought the Jeep as well as another Jeep dealership and they both said five quarts of oil is needed, only. Not 6... They charged her extra $18 for a "special filter". The Jeep dealership also mentioned a special filter is not required. They also told her she needed a rare differential service in charge her for that. I can't confirm whether she needed it or not, but she paid $170 + $10 (limited slip diff). My wife mentioned that he told her he was giving her a $45 discount. I didn't see it on the receipt but I did see a $32 dollar AAA discount. We've always put full synthetic oil in this jeep. Now we'll probably do an oil change over again, elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

(Car overheated) I went to this location recently and they charged me $160 for a full synthetic oil change. Like usual, they offer to fill up the coolant reservoir and i agreed to it. Later on that day my car started overheating. I was stuck in a dark area late at night trying to figure out what was wrong. I look under the hood and my coolant reservoir was empty. I go to Jiffy Lube from San Diego to Bakersfield. Our 2017 Hyundai broke down and we were able to get records for all of our services and maintain a warranty for the repairs. They scammed me into thinking something was wrong with my car saying it was going to cost me $500 dollars for them to fix it. I took it somewhere else and it ended up being a $ 12 dollar screw. The whole time it was the wrong screw that they put in my car and that's why it was leaking oil. If I hadn't gone for a second opinion I would've paid $500 for something that only costed $12. Had a Full-Synthetic Oil change; just prior to putting my car in storage. 7000 miles/2 years later, I take it to two other shops who decline to remove the oil drain plug because they suspect cross-threading. I phoned in for a remedial inquiry and never received a response. A week later I submitted an inquiry to Jiffy-Lube SoCal and also did not receive a response. Yes, the warranty period is 1 year but why not follow-thru on the inquiries and make a good-faith effort to remedy the fault? This is a review for work that I had done back in August or September 2016. I came in for an oil change and asked them to check my battery since he seemed like it was off for a while. Sure enough I needed a new battery. They ordered a part they needed from a nearby shop that took FOREVER. This is not something I can hold against them, either way if it took me 3 hours to get an oil change and a new battery when I was the only one there to have my car worked on. $300 bucks later I finally left to work, late by an hour. I left and a few weeks later got a call asking to stop back in because they forgot to write something down or something. Now fast forward to now and my car has died 2 times and needed to be replaced. I thought it odd that my battery died just 2.5 years in, and went to autozone so they could test everything. The tech took one look under my hood and exclaimed " That's not the right battery for your car!" So Yelp friends I caution you... if you get a battery from here double check and make sure they don't put a battery in your car that isn't even the right size or shape! read more

HORRIBLE customer service. Rip-off. Price gougers! DONT GO HERE!!! Hubby took '09 Challenger RT in for high mileage oil change. They charged $72.99 + $20 for 2 addtl Qts of oil. $101 out the door. RIPOFF!! I told my husband to get his keys and LEAVE and he said he couldn't cause they already drained the pan. I spoke with Ernie, the store manager who said they DO NOT PRICE MATCH. Cause the SAME oil change at Firestone and PepBoys was $60 for everything out the door!!! Jiffy Lube was charging nearly DOUBLE what their major competitors were charging. SHAME on them! I then called the District Manager, Luis who also refused to do the RIGHT thing (price match). Instead he offered $15 off (which Ernie already included, otherwise it would have cost $116!) and to give the two extra quarts for free. STILL MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THEIR COMPETITORS!!!!! NO DEAL! I found a Groupon at the last minute for their $72 high mileage oil change at $42, and with the two extra Qts of oil, we still paid about $75 out the door. On 1/20/20, I had an oil change done on my 2008 Toyota Prius which had no issues upon arrival. However, on my way home from Jiffy Lube I started to hear a faint knocking noise until the noise was extremely loud and my car would hardly accelerate at all. I had to pull over to inspect it but couldn't find the issue. Sounded like it was coming from an area under the air filter box. I had to drive home at 30mph for 20 miles with my hazard lights on. I would like a follow up with this location and a resolution hopefully soon because AGAIN my car was absolutely fine upon my arrival to get a simple oil change. read more
