I think it may take longer to read this post than get your car serviced :) This could be the most productive 15 minutes of your day: 1) Check in to Jiffy Lube, 2) walk across the street to grab a coffee or tea at Bondadoso, 3) walk back and your car is ready to go. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for years because it's so convenient, but when I went back in September, I paid for an engine air filter as well as the oil change, AND THEY FORGOT to actually put the new air filter in. I didn't notice it until I took the vehicle for a smog check and the technician noticed the air filter wasn't there. Probably not going to go back. Edited to add: I sent a complaint through the corporate website and got a call back from the manager within 3 hours. They're refunding me the cost of the air filter and offered me a $30 account credit I can use at any Jiffy Lube in the area. read more

Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way why there are so many rumors of Jiffy Lube being a scam. I had to get an oil change last minute and almost immediately I smelled burned oil. This did not happen before I brought my car here and it was Nothing crazy but I figured someone spilled some oil on the engine when refilling and didn't wipe it off. The smell comes and goes but again nothing crazy. Cut to 10 days and over $1k later, my alternator goes out. I bring it to Choe's auto repair in concord (which highly recommend by the way, I would trust Steve with my life lol) and he let me know the seal broke and started dripping oil on the alternator which caused it to go out. I thought it was consented but not as convent being without a car and having to shell out a grand for a new alternator. Please do not bring your car here. read more

I came in for an oil change and the sales guy recommended a radiator flush. During the last 2000 miles , I noticed fluid loss and leaking around the top of radiator. I took it back to manager who claims that it was not caused by radiator flush but if I could get an estimate from a mechanic stating the leak was caused by the radiator flush, he would pay for the repair. I did this same day and took it back to Adam. Then he denied to reimburse for the leaking radiator. cost of $514.53. He refused to honor warranty in back of the invoice of 3000 miles. This place is a total joke. Might as well have Dora the Explorer change your oil. She will inherently know more about your vehicle and how to change the oil than these clowns. Was told they needed "specialty tools" and needed to disassemble parts of my vehicle to change the oil, because it "had a turbo". This is asinine and false. They need a 27mm socket and a 6 inch extension for their ratchet. Also they need to remove nothing from the vehicle except the oil filter... Not to mention I've taken this vehicle to numerous jiffy lubes in the past without an issue. Even took it to the jiffy lube in Concord after this where they changed my oil with zero issue... I got an oil change here. I'm looking at the service checklist. Wash exterior windows: completed Lights: checked Neither of these things happened. Exterior windows weren't touched and remain as dirty as they were when I entered. Also I have 2 lights out on the exterior that I already knew about. I'm thinking they just mark all these things off without actually doing them. It makes me wonder about all the other checks under the hood they listed as completed. I doubt any of those were done also. My car does drive smoother so I am pretty sure an oil change happened. I will say the service was friendly. read more

Had an appointment at the Toyota Dealer for an oil change... got there and no one was there to direct customers or inside the bays working on cars. So I left to go here instead as I saw it was not busy when I passed it on the way to Toyota. I parked my car in a bay as directed and went inside to speak to the person at the counter as directed. He was on the phone so I waited a few minutes and he never even acknowledged I was there. He finished the phone call and walked out of the building without acknowledging I was there. A female employee came in to ring someone else up about 10 minutes later and told me to have a seat and she would be with me shortly. She handled the rest of my transaction and was friendly. They completed the oil change quickly. She saved the experience because the first employee I noticed displayed poor customer service. After reading some of the other reviews I'm glad I didn't have anything stolen and so far my car hasn't fell apart. However, It's concerning that some of the reviews especially the ones regarding theft (more than one review) are not addressed by the business. read more

Buyer Beware! Should have read the Yelp review. I'd been going here off and on for years. Stopped in today on a whim. Didn't have my typical $10 off coupon but they honored it (the good). The bad: they said they only had the one high-end synthetic oil and didn't offer the lower cost options for my 10+ year old diesel, but it's good for 10,000 miles. Before even ringing me up, they pulled my air filter and placed it on the counter for me to see. I'd witnessed this place (different team members) pull a stunt one time where they pulled a new filter out of a box and showed it and the customer's filter side-by-side and asked if she would like to replace it. Of course most people would say "sure" to that - but to me it was an obvious upsell where they didn't have to make a recommendation. They pulled the same on me. I said no, then Googled my own car which stated the air filter needs to be replaced in 6 years or 60K miles, whereas the manager told me usually every oil change it should be replaced. At the end of my transaction, they handed me a new sticker (very fortunate since I wouldn't have noticed had they placed it on the windshield) that showed the next oil change in 5K miles. I told the attendant the manager just told me the oil was good for 10K miles, and I asked for another window sticker to reflect that. Manager came in and said they couldn't do that since the printer prints by default at 5K miles but I should just remember that! I'd suggest a more reputable business (perhaps even not one of the national brands) - and be prepared to push back at your next oil change unless you want to just burn your money. read more

Wow, will not be coming back here. I've been to this location a handful of times and haven't had any issue or noteworthy things to write about. I just go for oil changes. But this time definitely hit different. When I pulled up, waited a good five minutes for someone to actually come up and acknowledge my car - only one other car there at the time (the other was leaving). Saw some employees just sitting down in the bays, but none of them came over to ask how they could help. Finally, a guy comes over and flatly introduces himself. I let him know I just want an oil change, no frills. They always try to upsell me on extra crap at this location, probably because they assume I'm a young woman who knows nothing about cars, but that's not the case anymore! This time they didn't offer me anything extra, maybe because I came in all business. Or they just don't care now. The guy tells me to just wait there and starts to walk away. I'm like, "umm, well how long is the wait?" He says 20 minutes. Okay...I mean, I'm the only other car here and there's like seven employees here right now but...okay. He proceeds to ask me to wait in the lobby. Last time I came in March, I was able to pull right into the bay and watch while they changed the oil. That has also been my experience at other similar businesses like Oil Changers. His response was that they only did that during the pandemic and that they "now advise" customers to not be in their car during service. Suspect. First of all, the pandemic is still happening, so that's a weird excuse. And even pre-pandemic, I've been able to stay in my car. He didn't offer further explanation. So, they would rather advise you to wait in their dingy lobby that smells like literal toxic chemicals while you look at grapes and other grossness on the floor, and watch freaking Duck Dynasty on the dinky little TV? Interesting. Now for the actual work on my car. Dude couldn't even start my car. I watched from the lobby window as he sat in my car, and then called another employee over, who had an equally perplexed look on their face. Look - as a disclaimer, I know my car is old and has high mileage (just need it to hang on a little longer!). It has had a lot of badness in the recent past. I asked the guy if there was an issue and both the employees said my car wouldn't start. Uhh, that's funny, because I just replaced the starter and the key two weeks ago. And I don't have any problems getting my car to start. I told the guy to just put some gusto into it and there you go. Car starts as it always does. All in all took 40 minutes to get an oil change when I was first in line. During the duration of my visit, several other people showed up and waited. I couldn't really see my car while it was being serviced and I didn't like that at all. I saw all of the employees buzzing around, coming in and out of the lobby, but for some reason it took so long to change the oil. It should really only take 5 or 10 minutes once your car pulls into the bay! Worst yet is that these people wrote on the service list that they cleaned the windows and vacuumed the floors. I saw the guy cleaning the windows, and guess what? He left dirty ass streaks all over EACH WINDOW! Unbelievable. I had to use my own wiper fluid on the windshield after this "service" and my back window has dirt all the down the middle where he didn't actually wipe anything. I don't believe they vacuumed the floors as they claimed because there were still just as many debris and leaves all over my floors when I got it back. So now I'm doubting whether they even performed any of the other services under the hood, because I couldn't get a good look while this was happening. So to recap - cold customer service, shady new business practices, and minimal effort put into the actual work. I will never come here ever again. I went to Jiffy Lube because they're close to my house and they also had a $10 off coupon. I regret my decision and wish I had gone to Oil Changers. I'm about giving businesses chances and really want to support as many as I can, but Jiffy Lube was not a great choice. I was the first one there prior to opening and the first customer to be attended to. Right off the bat their prices are higher than Oil Changers. A full synthetic oil change is $109 at Jiffy Lube and $80 at Oil Changers. It was too late to go elsewhere, so I didn't ask to leave. I probably should of given the amount of time they took to do it and how they really want to force you to pay for other services. I understand they want to make more sales, but their peer pressure tactics are quite a turn off. The time they spend trying to convince customers to do other services should be spent actually trying to do the oil change in a timely manner. What should of only taken 20 minutes took close to an hour and doesn't make sense when I was the first person there. read more

I don't even know where to begin.. I really want to sue them!! My poor college girl's car almost caught a fire. They didn't close the bottom cap tight enough after oil change so the oil was leaking little by little during the week, and finally the car stopped in the city ! My daughter called me and was crying and panicked. Luckily I had a bottle of engine oil at home so I was able to take the car home but the engine oil almost ran out when I got home. They asked if i wanted any add on service like windshield wiper replacement but i politely said no strictly oil changed. The guy in the counter was super cool and gave me a discount. This placed used to be great but now I feel like they just try to get over on you. I went in for an oil change back in October and per usual, they came in and showed me a dirty air filter that had to be replaced. So I took the bait and got a new one. The very next oil change that I did they tried to sell me another one! I know damn well that you don't have to replace the air filter every oil change and the fact that the guy didn't even look to see that they just sold me one and was trying to sell me another one just a few months later is not somewhere I want to do business. Brought car in for oil change. Also noted that my tire light came on that day for tire pressure. They did oil change but when I picked up the car the pressure light was still on for tires, after I brought this to their attention. They had told me they filled tires to 32 psi and light would go off after driving. Drove all day. Took car to gas station. Tires hadnt been filled. WTH. Also said they cleaned window.....they didn't. Hi, If I could write 0 stars I would. A friend who is a recent immigrant, single mom and fantastic person was told that her car needed brake pads and rotors for $900. Thank goodness she asked for a second opinion. Our mechanic THE FABULOUS JOHN at Lafayette Auto in WC 925-284-9240 said he charges $450 tops. Then when my friend brought the car to John he said, "your brakes are fine. You were lied to." How do people do this? Take advantage of anyone, let alone someone who needs support ONLY. Job not done. One would think that part of an oil change would be resetting the service light. No one here know how to do it. It's not an exotic car - just a seven year old Audi A3. First they said I had to take it to the dealer. Then three "technicians" spent half hour on YouTube and couldn't figure it out. I was told to come back the next morning at 8am because supposedly the manager knows how to do it. I did that and was told she did not know how When I asked for a refund or a discount on the $100 oil change I was told that resetting the service light is not part of the service ? Really?!?! Every place I've ever taken a car knows how to reset the service light. They tried again and were not able to do it. The manager threw up her arms and told me there's nothing she can do.
