The guy behind the desk said they checked the trani fluid and it was full. Then he said that I should have my mechanic tow it to him. By ommission they lied to me. I was able to get 110 miles with it slipping constantly on back roads before I had to get a tow. Stress free KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON‼ I should have been told about it. I decided to give Midas a try. I scheduled a time online through their website, showed up on time, and went inside. The folks at the front desk were friendly and organized. They gave me a clear sense of how long it would take to do a brake inspection (about 1 hr) before they'd call me back. They also informed me I would get text message updates along the way. All of that was accurate. I walked down the street to a coffee shop while they were doing their inspection. They called me to let me know that my brakes were totally fine, and the squeak likely came from some dry piston in the rear. They offered to grease it up for me for a small fee. I want to note this moment: I was not there to look at the brakes. They could've called me and said all my pads needed replacement and it'd be $400. They didn't! They were honest about exactly what was needed in my case. A little moment of honesty like this is a way to get my business for life. Plus, they are communicative and their lobby is pretty clean (for a repair shop lobby). The restroom was also clean. Kind of remarkable. Anyway, if you need your brakes checked, give them a look.

I came back a few days later to get the tires balanced. Cody helped me again. The lobby was very busy and he was the only person working but he did a good job helping everyone as quickly as possible. I chose to have all 4 tires balanced at a cost of $25 each. I left the car and it was ready within a few hours as promised. No additional costs or issues. My car now drives super smooth! Although I see that there are a lot of negative reviews, my experience has been very different. After two experiences with this Big O Tire store I'm very happy with the customer service and the work performed. I would definitely recommend them.

If I had trusted them without thinking twice, I would've paid for unnecessary work. Be careful out there--always double-check and don't hesitate to get a second opinion.
