What a wonderful surprise! I usually hate these drive up oil change places because it feels like I'm buying a car with a pushy salesperson trying to upsell everything. Not so here! I drove up and Lissander was polite, professional and friendly. He escorted me to a clean, nice-enough waiting area with TV and free coffee. After checking the car and changing the oil (including free windshield wiper fluid) he brought me out to look through the list of possible items I might wish. He wanted to know if I would like my tires rotated and I thought here it comes, the up charge full court press. I asked him what he thought and he checked each of the tires and said that they looked just fine. On all of the other items he said that everything looks pretty up-to-date. No pressure at all! Then we went in to pay and as I was leaving he asked if I knew about their guarantee. I said no, and he said in the next three months they are happy to top off the oil (up to 2 quarts!) or adjust the tire air pressure for free. What a really nice surprise this place is! I arrived at 5:47 for an oil change. They are supposed to be open until 6. A courteous young man eventually came over to my car and told me it was too late. I can understand if they can't do oil changes after 5:30 so that they won't stay open past 6, but they need to make that clear on the web site or just say they are open until 5:30. read more

Customer beware (tl;dr- faulty oil filter installation wrecked engine)! I've had oil changes done at Jiffy Lube for many years, nearly always without issue. I had one done in August and then experienced major issues with my car recently. I had driven approximately 1,000 miles since the oil change and upon having my car towed to my usual mechanic, I was informed that there is no oil filter attached to the bottom of my car nor was there any oil in the engine, causing the engine to seize. My car is old and would now require a $4,000 engine replacement, likely due to Jiffy Lube's faulty installation. Upon calling the location, they went to my mechanic and inspected the car, finding that they are not liable as there would have been oil all over the undercarriage of the car if there was an issue with the installation of the oil filter. As a result, I am going to have to scrap a perfectly good car due to their error. As I said previously, I've had many oil changes done with no issue, but it's incredibly upsetting that they would not take accountability for a loyal customer. It goes without saying that they've lost me for future oil changes and I hope it gives you pause as well. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Short version: This Jiffy Lube set my car on fire in the shop, stranded me without a ride, and did not even have the courtesy to send me documentation or a written apology. Long version: This experience was a nightmare that I am still dealing with. The people working the lift raised my car to that it was in contact with the heater in the interior ceiling of the Jiffy Lube. This set the roof of my car on fire,which burned a hole in the top, destroying the roof, melting the headliner, created chemical burns, and damaged electricals, causing thousands of dollars of damage to the vehicle. While my car was smoldering (and the smoldering accelerating), the staff attempted to service another car next to mine (FIRE HAZARD). They never called the fire department. Vehicles have explosive gas tanks. The vehicle burned for 90 minutes. That much is about the damage to the vehicle. How they then handled everything after is somehow worse. I was immediately told that everything would be paid for, and that they would get me a rental to I could get home. They never got me a rental car, nor a taxi. They also never told me they couldn't get me a rental car, until I inquired after 2.5 hours after waiting. They said that every Enterprise shop was closed, and they would only work with Enterprise. I told them there was an Avis location available, but they refused. I was also physically threatened by another customer. When I demanded they provide me a way home, they suggested I could 1. borrow their personal car (??), 2. drive me. When I told them this wasn't real answers, and that they should at least get me a taxi, another customer, who hinted he was friends with the staff, repeatedly told me for over 2 minutes that he would "f me up" while the rest of the staff watched and did nothing. I wound up leaving, paying for my own taxi. The staff refused to give me any documentation of what happened or any written guarantees. The entire time I was there, the shift manager shirked away whenever I was (reasonably) angry, and did not solve any problems. The next day I was called by Gamaly, the store manager, who told me that she was working on getting me a rental at their Enterprise. I asked her how on Earth I was going to get there without a car (duh). She called up a local Enterprise near where I live, but I was told that I would have to pay for the rental car. Jiffy Lube claimed they would reimburse me, but I received no written contract or documentation of this verbal promise - and it's unclear why they couldn't just put it on their card upfront, something my insurance did. I had to call Gamaly three times that day to get documentation and a written repair guarantee. I never received any. I was told she was the only person there, because "everyone else was fired," and that she was "too busy" to get around to it. I told her to just handle my burnt car and then move on to other customers. These were all LIES. I visited later that day in the car I rented, and the staff from the day before was there working with her. The district manager, Jesus, also was not at all helpful, and EXTREMELY sketchy. He only called me after over 24 hours after the incident (???). He also provided no official documentation. He wrote that he would pay for costs of the damage, but insisted that 1. he have the vehicle towed, and would not tell me the towing company, 2. the car be taken to his shop, and he would not tell me the shop, and 3. wanted to have the shop work on my car before I could talk to the shop. This last part especially is highly illegal - I am the car owner and I have to sign off on any repairs. Overall, Jiffy Lube made no apology, and while they offered to pay for the damages, were rude, consistently berated ME after they burned my car, and made no other type of offer of good will for the damage they caused. The tower that my insurance used commented on Gamaly's behavior completely unprompted, noting that she was incredibly rude to him. He was just towing my car. read more

My AC isn't working and the people here said I needed a new AC compressor. They said the parts were $300 and the total (parts and labor) would be $500. Fine. They said they had the part and it would be 30 minutes. After an hour, I was informed that the part they had didn't fit and they could get it from down the street for $700 and charge me $900. I said no, it took another 45 minutes for me to get my car back. 2 stars for not charging me for wasting my time for two hours. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

The Vavoline place near me got shut down so I needed to find a place to do the first oil change on my new car. Jiffy Lube was even closer so that seemed like a win. I pulled up and three women were happily chatting. After a minute one vaguely gestures to one of the two bay to the right of her and kept talking. I guess it was driver's choice so I chose as she kept talking. "Open your hood." This is a new car. I put in washer fluid and it took me awhile to find the hood release. "Just a minute. This is the first oil change and I need to find it." Maybe she didn't hear me because she wanted to get back to her conversation but she wound up walking to my window and saying with a mixture of condescension, annoyance and hatred of her job: "Would you PLLLEEEEASE open your hood." "I'm trying to find the latch." "And I'm TRYING to help you!" Really? I turned my car on and left with a wave and a goodbye. She snarled in response. "Enjoy your Yelp review!" Epilogue: I'm writing this review in line at the Valvoline 2mi away. They are busy, unlike the Jiffy Lube. I pulled in and a guy came out and said, "Pull over to bay 3." The first was to take a look at my heat shield beneath my car because it was rattling and a bolt had fallen off. They didn't have a bolt for it so they just zip tied it up and didn't charge me. In a better world, this place would have been closed down long ago for fraud. But until then the best we have are these reviews to warn those who are swayed by their spiffy ads and quick service. I have been coming to Jiffy Lube for several years and this last lie by their employees was the last straw. Last week they told me that my brake pads were worn down to practically nothing and that my brakes could go at any moment. Now apparently they change brakes, so it's one more thing that they lie about. A trusted mechanic today told me that I have at least another 20,000 miles on these break pads. In the past they have lied to me about everything from my car needing synthetic oil, to needing various filters and other vehicle fluids changed. I didn't mind it as much. I knew that this was part of the game, they lie to me about a few things and I just smile and say that I'll think about it. I would bring the car then to other mechanics who would 99% of the time confirm my suspicion that this particular jiffy lube lied to me. But now they lied about needing brakes. In essence they told me that I could get into a dangerous crash if I don't pay them money right away. It's disgusting. I don't know if this is a culture in the entire chain or just at this location, but now I don't trust them for anything with my car that I can't see. read more

I went to this particular location because I saw it got an average of a four-star rating on Yelp. It was actually quite out-of-the-way for me. But I thought I would give them a try. The young man there tried to talk me into all kinds of additional services that I knew I did not need, like replacing the transmission fluid and replacing the differential fluid. I had all of these checked recently, so I knew they were fine. The oil change was supposed to cost $36.99. I went to this location because I had a coupon for $13.50. They managed to talk me into replacing the cabin air filter, which they quoted was $29.99. While I was waiting, I used my iPhone to calculate the total, which I figured to come out to $56.83. Long story short, by the time everything was done, they quoted me $78 and change. I knew that was way too much. They were telling me that the guy was new to the system, and didn't know how to use it. They also told me they had quoted me the wrong price on the air filter, but were going to fix it. I stood there and watched the so-called manager fumbling with the computer for about five minutes, coming up with all different kinds of total amounts, none of which were even close to the correct amount of $56.83. He did not know how to do any basic math. To calculate the tax, he kept on multiplying by 1.625, not by 1.0625. I asked him, "Shouldn't the computer be calculating the tax for you anyway?" He said, "no need to argue." I told him I was not arguing, just that I was doing some basic math. In the end, after I complained a lot, he finally gave me the cabin oil filter change for free. so the total ended up costing me $38.74. I absolutely would not visit this location again, and highly advise anyone else against doing so as well. Any other unsuspecting customer would have just paid the $78 and change, then wouldn't have realized it until later on, if at all. I expected the up-selling - that's their business model. Replace this $8 filter for $45. No thanks. $78 for synthetic oil was OK because my 2011 Toyota Prius does call for that. What is NOT PROFESSIONAL is falsely telling me my car is dangerous to drive without replacing the rear brakes. Pads are gone and rotors are damaged I'm told. Front breaks also need pads and rotors I'm told. 2 x $100 off the 2 x $476 retail price to do both brake jobs right now. WRONG and WRONG. From an immediate visit to the Toyota dealer across the street I learn my rear brakes are fine and front breaks have maybe another 1,000 miles to go. Yes. Fraud. read more

Avoid this location. In a pinch before a trip to Tremblant, I went to get my oil changed. With no one in line before me, I sat in the car for over an hour while the team did....something. The work was finished and then no one came over until I got out of my car and asked someone. They then told me to go inside and wait. This was already a terrible experience. Fast forward to the real problem... Only a week and a half after my oil change, my oil alarm light came on (2016 Audi Q5). It's a brand new car, so there should be no issue with the sensor or anything like that. I called the jiffy lube location and the person on the phone CLEARLY didn't give a damn at all. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that there weren't any managers that day. I gave all my contact information and made them guarantee (multiple times) that I would receive a phone call from a manager the next morning at 8am. 3+ days later now, still nothing. I called my dealership and had to bring my car back there to make sure Jiffy lube didn't screw anything up. My service team literally cringed when they found out I went to a Jiffy lube, and told me a few horror stories about other customers that have gone to some other Jiffy lube locations in the past. After my car had gotten everything checked out and the oil changed properly, I looked back at my jiffy lube receipt and found out that they had actually also put in the wrong kind of oil. This happened AFTER they assured me they looked everything up in their system and knew it was correct. It easily could have damaged my car. I'm lucky I had a great team at my dealership to fix this disaster. read more

It seems a little silly to review a Jiffy Lube. Unless you're me, and you need all the car help you can get. So, Jiffy Lube. I am TERRIBLE at getting timely oil changes. So terrible that I'm not even going to admit when my last one was. Once that oil light on my dashboard starting flashing though, I knew it really needed to happen. (That, and I had thrown away that little reminder sticker because the mileage reminder was so embarrassing...oops.) Here's the thing. I'm totally out of my element at car places and that makes me not want to go to them. Jiffy Lube was not like that. I drove in, talked to the dudes, they didn't scold me (too much) for letting the situation get out of hand, and they made my car run smoothly again. They gave me a 30% discount for getting a few services done at once, and they changed my burnt-out headlight for free since I already had the bulb. It was EASY. I didn't feel like a dumb girl, I didn't get sales pressure or that stupid filter comparison, and I was in and out (obligatory lube joke here?) in 20 minutes. An average experience. For the almost premium price of 35 plus dollars, I didn't feel as though my car had received an above average service visit. However, this place was fast, clean, and accepted the coupon I had, despite it being a month or two expired. This Jiffy Lube location is great! Their staff is very friendly and efficient and can service your car in a short amount of time. They don't limit themselves to just changing oil, they can also rotate your tires and replace minimal things like the air filter and windshield whippers as well. They provide you with very good, clear explanations of the status of your car and liquids and aren't too pushy about up selling which is very nice as well. They won't hesitate to make any recommendations and will even hold the door for you as they escort you to the waiting area. The waiting area is very clean and offers ample seating. They have fresh brewed coffee in it along with water and a decent selection of magazines. Their rates are fair and my multiple experiences there have been great. I've been a proud, repeat customer there. Having such a competent staff taking care of such an annoying process makes it almost painless. I dig it! read more

Got my oil changed and my radiator flushed at Jiffy Lube today, and I must say- absolute 5 star service. The guy was really friendly (opening doors for me, explaining different service options) and wasn't pushy at all when it came to upselling. The conventional oil change is only $35, and this includes a visual inspection of your brakes, fill up on washer fluid, tire pressure check, window wash, and they even vacuumed the floor of my car! I love going to this place every time I need an oil change because the guys here are so accommodating and helpful but this past visit was by far the best. I had a dead mouse in my air vent and wanted to burn my car down! I didn't know what to do so I went to jiffy for the amazing service these guys have helped me with before and I was not disappointed at all! The main guy( can't remember his name) that works on the engine parts of cars was the absolute best! Helped to make sure the mouse was out and it no longer smelled of dead anything blowing out my vents! Simply, this store is terrible. As other reviewers said below, "avoid this store". I visited this store to fix the brake fluid issues on my car. Originally I planned the break fluid exchange, and the price called was about $70. It was ok. After 30 minutes of waiting, the mechanic said there is a leakage, so I should pay $50 to identify the leakage. After 1 hour, the mechanic said the master cylinder of the brake line has problem, so it needs to be replaced. He called $330 for this, and he said he will not gurantee the problem to be fixed even though the master cyliner is replaced. It sound very weird, but I said ok because he said I cannot drive my car due to saftey and thus I should choose either fixing it or towing the car. After I waited for 2 more hours, the mechanic said he changed the master cylinder, but need to repair the brake line too because the brake line has a hole. I talked to him that he didn't mention anything about the brake line before he changed the master cylinder, but his answer was that the pressure generated by the new master cylinder pushed up the rust on the brake line and make a hole. It is much weird for sure, because it means he knew the rust on the brake line before changing the master cylinder, but he didn't tell me anything before he changed the master cyliner. As you know, it is very weird the mechanic never informed the consumer about the things that needs to be fixed. He requested more money to fix the brake line, and I didn't want to tow my car from this store to my home, so talked to him to fix it. After I agree to pay more money, he confirmed me that there will be no more problem. Since it was late in the late evening before thanksgiving, I should wait until the day after thanksgiving. In the morning of the day after thanksgiving, the mechanic called me and said that he found another problem. He said there is leak at the other side of the brake line, so he need to replace the entire brake line. He called another $300 for this. It is now more than super-weird, because it just demonstrates that either 1) the mechanic did not know the leakage on the other end of the brake line at all, or 2) he knew it but didn't tell me intentionally. At this time, I talked him to fix it because I decided my mind to file a court claim to this shop. After 1.5 hours of waiting, he called me again and said he cannot do it and I should tow my car. It is more than funny, as you can imagine. I had no choice but to tow the car, and pay $300 for cylinder replacement, which is absolutely no use because the problems I gave to this store is not solved at all. To sum up, this store may be either 1) do not have much experiences enough to expect the probable problems, so cannot give a reasonale information about required repair to the customer, or 2) keep increasing the number of the problems and the list of the repair intentionally like a ransomware -- I think this store is just a scam. Either way, you will see increasing list of repairs and huge increase of your expenses from your wallet. I also want to give a warning sign to you about how rude the mechanic is. During the store visit and phone calls, he was very rude and kept talking his argument repeatedly, and I felt I was being threatened. I strongly suggest you to check previous 1-star reviews below, and avoid this store. read more

This was by far the worst service I've ever received. I got an oil change and they forgot to twist the oil cap back on, which caused oil to spill all over my engine. Not only that, they tried to sell me a $10 air filter for $50. They lied saying it was a "HEPA" filter but no where on the box did it say "HEPA" even once. Luckily I didn't fall for it and passed on the filter. They completely lied to my face. Please beware of this terrible service station they only see dollars and cents.
