AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!! They forgot a tool under my car and I had to go back the same day for them to remove it. This is confirmed via text message with the jiffy lube manager. On top of that, they didn't secure the oil filter correctly leading to almost all the oil draining from my car. After having my car oil light and internal beeping alert go off on 495, my car broke down. AAA had to tow my car to my mechanic. Jiffy lube made not 1, but 2 major errors that would have destroyed my engine if ignored the warning siren and oil light. The jiffy lube manager, Jorge Rivera, and franchise owner Delali.Dika@tfgflp.com refuse to refund the cost of the initial oil change. Furthermore, they refuse to compensate for the repairs my mechanic had to do in order to get my car back on the road. The manager told me via text message I had to drive my car back to Wilmington in order to not void the jiffy lube service warranty. They believe the consumer is naive to consumer laws, you have the right to take your vehicle anywhere you want to be repaired after so many mistakes are done. I went to Jiffy Lube on Friday, December 4th for an oil change. They were very polite and professional to me. While I was there they checked my whole car out, and explained and showed me my hat my transmission fluid was very dark and needed to be replaced otherwise I was going to have problems with my transmission. While changing the oil Diego found that the cap had been put on too tightly, and it was going to take time and effort to remove it. It took a long time to get the cap off but I was constantly being updated as I sat in car due to COVID. I would give zero stars but not an option. Last 2 oil changes have been an issue most recent one disastrous. After my last oil change my vehicle began to completely shut down while driving. I brought it in to dealership for service and the issue was no oil. There were no leaks discovered. Basically jiffy lube drained the oil but never put any back in. This place charges whatever they want. I was overcharged 190 dollars for labor alone on oil and transmission fluid change. Not to mention the price of 159.99 & 59.99 for the oils. The asshole says to me you should be good for a while. You think you jerk? They do not have a price list, and they dont tell you what anything cost. Awful service. After GEICO trying to help me. They fired the kid who did the oils change and now take no responsibility. I have the metal from the broken handle from the screwdriver / tool they used. This location USED to have a good staff, particularly the older gentlemen who I believe was the manager. However, I had my oil changed there on Jan 3, 2011, didn't see him there, and they did a TERRIBLE job. Super sloppy, and it smells like they spilled oil all over the engine, because there's a TERRIBLE burnt-oil smell in the car that's almost unbearable, and it's been like this for a couple days. They never had that problem when I went to the dealership for service. I will not be back to this location, and neither should you. read more

I'd give this 20 stars if I could!! I have never been happier with anything pertaining to auto service issues. Came in 6/23 around 3:30pm for a tranny flush. I had called around all morning and no one wanted to help me I called Jiffy Lube, and it barely rang before the super personable and helpful Marcos answer the phone I had called back again after to touch base with him and again picked the phone up almost immediately. The customer service here is impeccable Marcos was insanely helpful along with Tyler and one other gentleman (wish I got his name!) that was working with them they all worked together, got along well to get my car fixed up answered any questions I could've had and literally I've had the best customer service experience ever coming from somebody who has worked in service and hospitality their whole life..you'll have a long term customer from me (used to be a Valvoline person) I literally can't express how put at ease I was and the camaraderie between the guys...THANK YOU AND GIVE THOSE BOYS A RAISE!!!!! read more

Got my oil changed tonight! Price was very fair and the staff was super efficient and friendly. I can't believe how fast start to finish was. Manager came over to make sure I was satisfied and happy with the service. They weren't pushy with extra parts or services that weren't necessary needed. Brought my car back 12/30/20, after an oil change 12/23/20, to report since the service my vehicle began making loud engine valve noise at highway speed within a couple miles, So severe was the noise i had to pull to the shoulder for engine to recover. After the shop manager impressed upon me his SAE credentials there was no way their product or service could be at Issue. Sensing there was no satisfaction to be had i went to another service provider, replaced with new oil and filter, drove speeds and distance well beyond the point where the failure occurred and guess what, not a tap! AWFUL. Just went for an oil change. They snapped the holder for my hood stand and instead of telling me and offering to replace a probably $5 plastic holder they tore the fabric under my hood and tucked the stand behind there to keep it in place. I'll never use them again and same goes for my family and friends. read more

I did not leave because of the excessively long wait when it wasn't busy, but because I watched the otherwise unemployable fighting with each other rather than working on the waiting vehicles. Recently became under new management. As a long time customer of this specific location, I can see a noticable difference. Excellent customer service and knowledge of cars. Went in for an oil change came out with a free service and top off after them spending 15 or so minutes diagnosing an issue in my car. They didn't try to upsell or do the expensive work, rather recommended I not put more money into my aged car. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

This place is the worst. Go anywhere else. ANYWHERE. I went there in June 2014 for an oil change. After a quick 10 minutes, they took my money and sent me on my way. Two weeks later, I discovered that they NEVER ACTUALLY DID THE OIL CHANGE. The old oil filter, signed and dated from the *previous* change, was still in place. It was never touched. I have no idea what they did during those 10 minutes then my car was the only one in the shop, but they weren't changing my oil. They happily took my payment, though. I returned to a different crew, who apologized and actually did the work after initially treating me very rudely for suggesting such a thing could ever happen. Then earlier today, my wife went there for an oil change (we should've learned). Of course, they did the "here's your dirty airfilter" dog and pony show (side note - they're changing the oil, they shouldn't be touching *anything* else). Well, after her oil change they sent her on her way... WITHOUT PUTTING THE AIR FILTER (which she didn't have them change) BACK INTO THE CAR. These guys are beyond incompetent. read more

First off when I got out of my car and walked in there was an employee standing inside the bay smoking which was totally disgusting and I thought was illegal. And the building smelled so bad of cigarette smoke I almost got sick. Second I was told that I had to wait an hour to get my oil changed. This is unacceptable to me. I came to this location a few weeks ago for a routine oil change. I was told I needed to change my engine filter and I agreed. When finished I got back in my car and when I turned it on it was shaking hard. I let the employee know and he told me it was because the filter was changed and that was ok. This was an issue that should have been checked immediately as I broke down as a result. When going to work the next day several lights in the dashboard came on at first and after about 20 minutes all of the red lights on my dash came on suddenly and my car quickly stopped with just enough time to pull over. This happened twice within just a few minutes of each other on my 30 minute drive to work. When I opened the hood there was a hose completely unattached. When I contacted the store, the employee was quick to deny that it was his fault. I contacted the manager at a later date when he was working and he said it could have been them, but there was nothing they could do now. I then contacted the company through their website to write a complaint and all they could offer me was my next oil change free. I had asked for a refund several times and each time was denied. This caused extreme inconvenience for myself and could have caused more damage on my car. They finally offered me a free oil change which is not enough compensation to keep my family and I as customers. Will be finding a new place for oil changes. read more

Fine if you're in a hurry and don't mind paying way too much. April is a busy month for me always and this year I found myself needing an oil change pretty early on during it. My amazing mechanic who I take my car to for everything is a little inconvenient to get to since I moved out of the city and to Wilmington, so this time I took my car to Jiffy Lube. The service people are friendly and great. I can't fault them at all. They updated me on why my car was taking longer than originally told (something I highly value), but like all chain places I was told all the things I should probably replace. One was my cabin air filer. I said sure knowing I would overcharged (I was already being overcharged knowingly for the oil change) but I didn't realize it would be to the tune of $40. My fault, I should have asked. But the part can be bought at a store or online for $8.99 and I could have installed the thing myself. I left paying $150 total for an oil change, tire rotation and two filters. I feel like I was taken for a complete ride. I'll take the time to go to my mechanic from now on or find a local trusted guy for the future. No more chains for me. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I recently went to this Jiffy Lube for an oil change and a tire rotation. I arrived on Saturday morning at exactly 8am when they open. After waiting for 2 hours I decided to knock on the window and ask what was taking so long, I was told it would not be much longer - but waited an additional 30 minutes. While checking out, they decided not to charge me for my tire rotation since I waited so long. After about 3 days of driving my car, I started to hear a noise coming from the rear left tire and decided to take it to the Jeep dealership. The dealership told me, "thank god you brought your car in when you did because they did not tighten your tire and if you continued to drive on it, it would have eventually fallen off." GREAT NEWS. At least I found out this way, and not while driving my 1 year old nephew on the highway and the tire flying off. This place is awful and I would not recommend ANYONE going there. read more

Due to past experiences with these types of quickie oil change places I'm always leary of them. But this place went over and above as far as bad service is concerned. I needed an oil change in a pinch because I didn't have time to do my own. After telling me I needed a coolant top off for a fee, I said I'd take care of it, and then found that my coolant level was fine when I left. I told the guy I had a coupon for $5 off my service but I couldn't find it in my glove box. He basically told me too bad, and charged me the full price. Good customer service huh? But the kicker was a day or two later when I noticed something leaking from under my car. I crawled under and found that the oil filter they had put on wasn't even hand tightened, let alone tightend with an oil filter wrench. Now I have the oil stains in my driveway to remind me to never go to this place again. If you're wise you won't either. read more
