My husband and I are new to Temecula and I think I might have found our new Mexican spot. This place is absolutely delicious! I ordered the Super Nachos. It comes with guacamole, refried beans, sour cream, cheese, and of course carne asada pieces. I love how the guacamole was beautifully green and didn't have little pieces of onions or tomatoes in it. Good amount of every topping. It's HUGE! 2 people can defiantly share it unless someone is extremely hungry. No judgment, eat it all! My husband ordered the Monster Wet Burrito. That was also HUGE!!! So huge that normally even after eating a burrito my husband will help me finish my nachos, not this time. It was generously stuffed. The sauce on the burrito was really good. Tasted like enchilada sauce. I was dipping some of my chips in it. We also ordered a jamaica and a horchata drink. The horchata was so good! Loads of cinnamon flavor and sweetness! If you are looking for a good carne asada fries place, this is IT! We used to go to Alberto's for their super fries but as of late, they have been disappointing (fries are dry and burnt, and meat is too salty). After finding this gem, we choose Jilbertos over other local taco shops. However, we recently ordered multiple carne asada fries and all the fries in each order were super hard, burnt and dry which is the reason we stopped going to Alberto's in the first place. I think what makes Jilbertos stand out from other places is their freshly made food. If they continue to provide that, I believe they will continue to have returning customers. read more

When you sign up for dealpalooza or other voucher programs you should probably read the terms of service and educate yourselves as business owners on California laws. Vouchers don't ever expire, if a customer pays $5 for $10 and the voucher expires it is still worth at least $5. I gave you an opportunity to at least look into it and was told NO. read more

I got the carne asada quesadilla burrito with extra guacamole and light sour cream. My gf got the same thing with extra cheese. They put no sour cream on mine and barley any guacamole. The other one had no guacamole at all. It felt like I couldn't get the real experience with missing ingredients that I had to then go home and add myself. It was disappointing since the meat was pretty good but I wish they had gotten the orders right. If I'm paying for a guacamole I do expect to have at least a decent amount to be able to taste it. read more

Was looking for a somewhat authentic Mexican Breakfast spot, and I may have found it right here in Temecula. It's a bit tricky to find but its behind the pancake house. If your looking for something other than pancakes than this is the spot. The food was plentiful and fresh, I would of given them 5 stars if they didn't have these toilet tissue napkins you usually find in cheap Chinese food places lol. So we decided to try this place based of the reviews on Yelp and we were HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I ordered two hard beef tacos (so basic ) thank goodness I ordered a California burrito (that is the only thing that saves them from getting a one star from me. The place was clean bathroom was so so. So let me elaborate on why the tacos were so basic, they had no flavor whatsoever to them tons of cheese but nothing that made them go pack a punch. They tasted like they took some already cooked beef in a jar and threw it in the tacos. I added some verde and hot sauce and still tasted basic it just couldn't be saved. The California burrito had some flavor maybe due to the fries who knows again nothing to write home about or jump for joy but it was as decent. I've had better at Taco Bell. I ended up bringing the rest of my burrito home (as you can see) my wife had the taquitos meal and they were extremely basic too, the rice was bland no idea about the beans but on the ride home I asked her what did she think about it and she said ehh it was basic too . Nothing has flavor what is wrong with these places people want flavor, Flavor is what makes your food stand out from the others and it's sad that Taco Bell taste way better than this place. Went there based on 4 yelp reviews. We were just visiting the area and prefer to support local small places. This was a good choice. The customer service was top notch. He was friendly, helpful and had the biggest smile like he enjoyed what he was doing. Hard to find now a days. He made some suggestions and he didn't steer us wrong. Breakfast burrito with bacon, and carne asada fries. Carrots were yummy as was all the salsa at the salsa bar. I wish we were more local to come support. Place was empty and I can't figure out why! This is one of my favorite taco shops in California. I usually have the Cabeza burrito, but today I was in the mood for the #4 - 4 rolled tacos, aka taquitos plate. I must've eaten in record time, they were sooo delicious! The taquitos are hand made Rolled Taco Plate cooked to order. The tortilla was crunchy and crisp, they way it's supposed to be. Of course, I didn't take the rice and beans for granted. Especially, since it's been a while since I've had a home cooked meal. They're just like the rice and beans my mom used to make.
