I really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious, and the salsas were incredible and easily one of the highlights. Everything tasted fresh, and you can tell they put care into their flavors. The restaurant itself is cute, clean, and well put together, with a great atmosphere and fun vibe. Service was fast and efficient, which is always a plus. They do offer two dollar tacos on Tuesdays, which is a great deal. Every other day of the week, tacos are around $3.50 each. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that the tacos are on the smaller side. They're tasty, but I wish they were a bit more filling for the price. Other than that, everything was great. It's ok. At least if I'm looking for authentic, sadly, this is the only place around here that comes close. My only two gripes with this location are the seating and the horchata. The seating selection is very limited. So limited in fact, that if you don't sit down immediately, you will be left standing, or taking your order to your vehicle. Been a frequent customer for YEARS growing up here in Temecula. This was my third and will be my last bad experience because me and my family are never coming back and can no longer recommend this place. This is what the cross section looked like in my burrito halfway through... again. I thought it might've been a night off but three times is too much. The pics are of their breakfast burritos, which are fire but their Cali burrito is the best in town by far. Very poor customer service and extremely disappointing experiences. The first issue happened when I ordered about $80 worth of food. They only gave me three salsas, so I went to the salsa bar to grab a few more. The gentleman who is always there, possibly the owner or manager, immediately gave me attitude and started talking about me to a coworker because I was taking extra salsa for the food I had just purchased. I wasn't being unreasonable, and as a regular customer who had recommended this restaurant to friends and family, it was embarrassing and disappointing. He made me feel like I was doing something wrong or stealing, simply for wanting enough salsa for my order. Considering this restaurant isn't cheap and there are plenty of other options, his smug and unprofessional attitude was completely uncalled for. That experience left such a bad impression that I stopped going for quite some time. Recently, I decided to give the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, it only confirmed my decision to stay away. My wife and I walked in and ordered two burritos. My wife's order was very simple: a breakfast burrito with beans added and no meat. After waiting quite a while, despite the restaurant not being busy, we finally received our food. When my wife opened her burrito, there were no beans in it. I suggested she let the staff know so it could be corrected. Instead of apologizing or fixing the mistake, the cashier responded, "Well, I didn't hear you. I can sell you a side of beans." After consulting with the same manager/owner who had given me attitude before, that was apparently their solution. Seriously? Charging a customer extra to fix your own mistake is unacceptable. Between the rude treatment, lack of accountability, and poor customer service, this restaurant has completely lost my business. There are too many places that appreciate their customers to keep spending money here. I will never return, and I can no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Tucked next to the Submarina, the location is easily overlooked, which is unfortunate, but their was still a steady flow, even early in the morning so locals are definitely familiar. Inside was clean and a tad overdone in a cliche way that adds to the charm. Staff were friendly and diligently working the prep for the day while also taking orders. Salsa bar had great options, organizing the salsa from hottest to mild, with one exception, the creamy green "avocado" salsa packs a punch, try before getting zealous with application with that one. I got the original breakfast burrito with carne asada. Size was good, when you dine in they slice it for you; I'm sure they'd have left it whole if I asked. Inside everything is evenly distributed, good ratios, chunky diced potatoes which I prefer. Carne asada has good flavor and they blend it all together on the griddle so you get all the incorporated flavors and juices commingled with the melted cheese , no layering as you'll see many places. Location I'd give 4.5 stars, to get to go orders it's probably great, not a whole lot of parking or seating inside, during the lunch rush I've seen it packed. Service is spot on, 5 stars, can't say anything bad there. Burrito this morning is a 4.8 only cause I've had better elsewhere and I don't want to say they're all the best. Salsa bars make any place extra special and take a basic breakfast burrito to a new level. I was shopping nearby and needed a food break. At first I was just the only customer so I was a bit nervous but I think I was just on the early side as many others came right in. A massive breakfast burrito arrived with plenty of bacon, egg and potatoes. It had good ingredient proportions and was so big I was able to sample many of the salsas and just loved my breakfast. Pretty much the only legit taqueria in this part of the world. Not too many options in the area for good authentic tacos. Los Tacos have pastor made on a real trompo, the even have tripas, which is a good sign that they know what they're doing. Tripas are just the way I like them, nice a crunchy. Los Tacos is truly a hidden gem! It's tucked away, and even though I drive by here all the time, if someone hadn't recommended it to me, I might have totally missed out! I tried the Tecate battered fish burrito and it was HUGE! It's absolutely delicious! I'm interested in taking a deeper dive into their menu, to see if the fish options can be grilled. They also have hormone free chicken which will be consumed on my next visit! There's patio seating and a soda fountain machine with some items I'm unfamiliar with, but would like to try next time. Both times I have had the fajita bowl and it is amazing! One thing that I love about this place is the salsa bar. They have several types to choose from and you can order an 8 oz. container to go. I did this both times and then got a few containers of some of the other salsas. I would love to order for delivery, however there is not a choice to order a container of salsa. I'm very upset that they can't get my order right. They are good at making tacos but, I paid for what I asked for and I haven't received the order I've been asking for. I've been here 3 times and the first time was perfect I got the barría tacos with consume I had no complaints! The 2nd time I asked for barría tacos with consume I got the order, went back home and realized I didn't have consume in the bag. I came back with the order to get the consume and they wouldn't give it to me, I even asked if I could buy it and the guy said "no you can't buy it!" eventually, I bought it. I was angry about that and I wasn't leaving until I got the consume and he kept saying I didn't buy the right one like what??! it was like $18!! The 3rd time, I came in I get the usual 3 barría tacos with the consume, I also asked for horchata and a flan. I got all that stuff but the tacos, it wasn't even barría I paid $26.22 to get regular tacos that just had steak in it. It didn't even have cheese! the tortilla wasn't even fried! And the meat wasn't even the right meat! it was just a small tortilla with diced steak! They pretty much have taken my money at this point and I'm not happy, I'm also not coming back.
