I went to Jillienne almost two months ago for Microblading. She did a great job and I've gotten many compliments from those who know I got it done (it looks so natural, people probably wouldn't know otherwise). She rescheduled me the first appointment bc Aunt Flo was visiting that time and she said I would be hypersensitive, so just a heads up. She was very attentive during the appointment and would check to see if I was numb and feeling ok (it was fine for me, but everyone's pain tolerance is different). She told me exactly what to expect during the healing process, the areas she thought would need a touch up and that it would be about a month for it to be a good judgement of what the brows will look like. Jill's handiwork is incredible. I'm getting married next month and knew I would be crying like a baby, therefore wanted something that would withstand my tears. I have very thin lashes that has some length (see the pics) but for some reason even the best, expensive waterproof mascara doesn't plump them nor does it withstand my tendency to cry when happy. I keep coming back to Jillienne due to her impeccable skill and quality product. Her level of talent and skill is hard to find; I feel so lucky to have found someone I trust so much and who's work I love! I have gotten my lashes done for several years now and once I met Jill I knew she was going to be the only one to touch my lashes from that point. Jill is absolutely amazing. I had never heard of microblading or even known i could do anything about my eyebrows. I had shaved them when i was young not knowing that some hair might not grow back... ever. So they were not full length. I met Jill by chance one day and she asked me if i had ever heard of the process. She sent me information and helped answer my questions so i felt comfortable with moving forward. It sounded a little scary and slightly painful but honestly it wasn't. Jill used a numbing cream and checked to make sure i was ok with everything before she moved forward. Jill did a great job with my lashes. My lashes are full, and longer - yet still look natural. The whole process was quick, and comfortable and the room where I got my lashes done was clean. Also, she has you check the length, thickness, fullness etc. after each eye to ensure you are satisfied. If not, she will take them off with a special removal serum and redo them - no questions asked. She was also extremely accommodating to my schedule since I got called in to an emergency meeting at work. I also appreciated that she told me to not get it done too frequently to let your lashes "breathe". That shows that she cares about her clients and is not only in it to make as much money as possible. I think her prices are reasonable. Shop around for good lash extensionists. I have known Jill for many years. I would get my eyelashes done on and off with her. She used to have great customer service. As timé has gone by that customer service has declined or maybe she only reserves it for a select few. Maybe it's due to her being more busy now. The last couple of times I've seen her her technique and quality of her work has declined as well. The glue is chunky, the eyelashes instead of being placed individually seem to just be placed on top of each other causing a couple of eyelashes to clump together. Since she is very busy now I feel she's always in a rush. Although I do have to admit there were sometimes I had been late to my appointment though, I don't want to place all the blame on her. But going back to the customer service, the last couple of times I sent I felt like she didn't really want to see me and was even rude. The first time I thought, well it probably was because I had been late. But the following timé it was worse. I was surprised and still admit felt kind of hurt because I knew her from when she worked in a tiny place, a hole in the wall you can say. I hate writing this review on her but I feel like I have to do it. Her prices are reasonable to me but are no longer worth it to me. I would travel far to go and see her. I have now found a better place, closer to my home and more than reasonable prices with a great selection, great customer service and I get exactly what I want. Sadly I will never go back to Jill. Actually, no judgment here, I support anybody who wants gorgeous lashes for everyday! But since they're a little pricey, I thought, if there's anytime I could justify getting these lashes would be for my wedding and honeymoon! Jill was great - she uses text messages for scheduling which is super convenient. She made recommendations for my short lame lashes. The whole process took about an hour. I got so many compliments on my lashes! They were perfect for the wedding. They semi-lasted through the honeymoon (2 weeks in a beach setting) which made me very happy to go make-up free! Jill is really sweet and seems very knowledgeable. She definitely has a light touch, painless, and didn't take very long. I got my lashes done a few days before a wedding trip (Jamaica). Despite the heat, water, and other activities, I was able to keep my lashes looking fab thanks to all of Jill's suggestions. I found julienne on Yelp and after reading her reviews I was pleasantly surprised. She is located in the back room of a little hair salon and she's very gentle. As a first timer with her, she checked in throughout the application process to make sure that the length was right and I liked how it looked (which I've never had before at other eyelash places). The full set took around 1hr to do which is pretty standard but I loved how they looked once it was finished. To me Jill seemed like she was kind of in a hurry to finish up my extensions but in all honesty this was my first time ever getting them done so I'm not too sure how it's all supposed to go. Afterwards she explained everything about the after care & she was very polite the whole time. She even gave me a discount since it was my first time getting eyelashes done. But overall I love my extensions. I have a problem with my eyelashes falling out in clumps randomly so Jill told me they might not last long on that eye & she was right. But I wanted someone closer so I went on Yelp.com like we do and I found JC Lashes. She does seem to care about the health of my lashes but I've never seen this much damage on them before.
