Sales Rep was great, but the Sales Management team (Chad) doesn't follow through with deals made at contract signing. They are non responsive to emails relating to issues, and commitments made. The lease return vehicle I bought came with expired tabs from Feb 24 (purchased Jun 25). That's 16 months expired with no new tabs 5 weeks after purchase. Obviously, DMV docs sat on someone's desk, or still are. Sales management is non responsive. Vehicle was promised to be detailed, but it was delivered a muddy mess w/ tar on the paint. Bottom line, this dealer is not committed to the customer or a professional process. Not recommended. read more

Why did I have to talk to 3 different people, 1 via a phone call, then 2 via text. Ridiculous. Gave them the info that I was closest to Oak and they made an appointment at Gasoline Alley. Went to the wrong location 2x's, first to oak, then I was directed to 3500 Gasoline Alley, they I was told there no go across the street to the 3501 building. THEN TO FIND OUT the person who was to work on my car that day called out and they don't know why he made an 11:45 appointment because that's when they go on lunch. Well Linda I don't know either, I just brought the car here. This was mentally draining and not b putt off the 3 places I went to to even get to the appointment did anyone care. All of the service people to the women in the b appointment building on oak couldn't comprehends why I was irritated and by the end off it crying. I just wanted new wheels and my alignment adjusted. It's not rocket science. I can't stand these service center, at least Toyota would have sat there and figured it out without making need just from place to place. read more

We bought a new Ford Lightning at a different dealership on a Saturday and were on a road trip and broke down on a Sunday. Our vehicle had to be towed to Jim Burke. We were fortunate to get Tabitha Cox as our service advisor. Our issue was unique and Tabitha ensured it was fully looked into and was able to get our truck fixed ASAP. We live 150 miles away and Tabitha was able to make a very stressful event much easier for us. She was patient with our questions and addressed all of our concerns. Quick Lane Oil change. I am guessing it would depend on what you consider quick. I checked the website and it said they close at 5:30. Headed straight there after work and arrived around 5:15. I was told that an oil change would take at least an hour. I can understand that is was close to quitting time however there were about 3 people standing around chatting inside, and several guys in the empty bays waiting to go home. I took a few photos at (5:17 as you can see on the photos)before I headed off to Valvoline on Coffee. I arrived at Valvoline at 5:39 ( as you can see in the photos) and was out of there in 15 minutes folks! YAY for me I wanted to give Ford a shot because my brother said he took his cars there. In the automall. I took my 2024 f150 for an oil change about a month ago, was told keep n eye on your battery its showing your gonna need to replace soon. This answered my question why auto off and on switch was not working. When battery is low the truck chooses how to disperse battery power. Last night the truck didn't start, so I made time today to take in. Explained my experience and what I was told about a month ago. She said im showing your battery is under warranty but our battery tester is showing your battery is good. I guess i was not clear on what I was told a month ago. She saids you leave it for 2hrs or so and we'll do a deep test scan? And that will really tells us if its a good battery. So I leave it. I Come back to pick up, uh your battery is showing its good, so its under warranty, we won't replace. You can buy one if its really bugging you. She tells me, your on n off auto switch can be caused by power of battery or something electrical we don't know you have leave it. So what if I get stranded cause of this battery, u gonna come pick me up. She said oh no we can't do that. We'll thats great news. I guess that last gentleman i spoke with on my oil change is a liar working for ford. 2024 with 22,000 miles. This just adds to the clunk noises I hear on this transmission. Folks when you pay ford takes care of you. When your under warranty they dont care what your story is​. Folks do your research on the next vehicle you buy. Nothing like a little car trouble to try to ruin Christmas, but the good folks at Jim Burke Ford Quick Lane weren't about to let that happen. Our service advisor Yessenia and our mechanic (sorry I don't know her name) got our car looked at right away and started work on it immediately. Yessenia arranged for a Lyft to take us to and from our hotel and she even would have arranged transportation around town if we needed it. 24 hours later everything was fixed and were on our way again. Went in to get my sync audio system updated from vs 1 to the latest vs, currently at vs 3-4. Found out there is something that I don't remember the name of preventing it from updating. Cost over 1k to repair, I decided nevermind. Went in to pick up my car, now the audio system doesn't work at all anymore. I was told to bring it back on my off day so they can "try" to get the system working again. It was working when I brought it in, it's worse now than it was when I dropped it off. I've taken my 2017 mustang in here 3 times and spent over $5,600 trying to get the AC fixed. They have not stood behind the service warranty at all. Sometimes it has sat for over a month on these visits. The interior has been beaten up when they serviced it including scratches to the dash and tint. The first visit was due to a leak in cabin. The next visit they said was a leaky line under the hood. The third visit the compressor randomly exploded spewing fluid in the engine bay and smoke everywhere. They just repaired that last week and now the belt is wedged behind the pulley on the compressor. I don't even understand how that happens unless something is loose. read more

Fast forward 5 years later, came in to bring my truck in for basic service (oil change, tire rotation etc.) so I decide while I wait let go look around on the sales lot see if anything catches my eye. They didn't have to much stock out which is understandable due to vandalism in recents weeks. I walked the entire lot and not one person asked if I need help, and when I did run into an associate near the front entrance she didn't even acknowledge my presence. Schedule an appointment online on 09/03/2022 @ 2:00 pm for my truck, a 2018 Ford F250 concerning my brakes all four especially the Driver and passenger. I spoke to Advisor Gabriela T about my concerns and over the paperwork, we discussed what concerns I had with the brakes. I was then told there is warranty that covers the truck and everything needing to be done all I would have to pay is $100 for the Deductible. We then agreed to continue yes it's covered and all I have to pay is the Deductible of $100. The technician Ruben S. inspected the truck and put on paper, inspect replace front pads and machine or replace rotors inspect calipers wheel bearings master cylinder brake lines, and fluid level. once finished I was then told the truck is ready and my payment of $100 for the Deductible was all I needed to pay. Once I have paid I was then told there is no contract covering my 2018 Ford F-250 so my new total would be $744.12 which was never mentioned in the agreement before agreeing to proceed. I could have gone elsewhere for a better deal. I also have pictures on site of dark greased fingerprints on the interior door after pictures I tried wiping them off and haven't made any progress also dark greased forearm rubbed up against on centerpiece armrest compartment that folds out to another seat. I would like to discuss this issue with a manager or higher and settle it. I will be taking my 2018 Ford F250 elsewhere after we settle this issue. read more

I had my Ford F-250 towed to Jim Burke Ford in Bakersfield. I was towed from Newhall, California. Why? Because it was the Ford Dealership. My alternator went on on I-5 as I was head north from Los Angeles, California to Bakersfield. The tow service company dropped it off early in the morning and I was there when they opened to see to get a repaired and went to the parts department first and then to the service area. It needed an alternator as I suspected. They did not have one in the parts department. So I had to waited a day for them to order one and a day to get it back to Jim Burke Ford, so I was out of service 3 days, but they repaired it mean while I did some checking prices and hourly labor. But finally they got it in and I was running. I thought I bought a brand new alternator and it was professional installed. It was installed, but after I'm on the road over 1000 miles away at a service stop I find they put in a refurbished alternator and not a brand new Ford Delco alternator. I paid the price for a new alternator, and I was given a refurbished alternator. So I can not in good conscious give the a rating that's good, they never informed me they were using a reimbursed; if that was the case I could have gone to an Autozone and pick one up and r&r it myself. So I am very disappointed in the Jim Burke Ford, I think and know I was ripped off. This is exactly why dealerships get bad ratings. I can only suspect they saw Texas plates on my truck, charged for a new alternator to increase their profits. read more

Never again I use to go for all my truck needs but I just got charged almost 200.for an oil change that's ridiculous.

Took my used car in for two minor issues. I was told my extremely overpriced extended service plan doesn't cover either issue and they quoted me $600+ to replace a cupholder. The sales department also declined to cover the issues, despite my purchase being less than a year ago. I decided I would not spend that much for a cupholder so I picked up my vehicle. They charged me $185 for the "diagnostics". Mind you, diagnosing this problem takes less than 2 minutes and virtually no labor. I will avoid going back to Jim Burke Ford. They have no customer service and they're only out to cover their own skins. read more

Anyone thinking about buying a new Ford should think twice. My 2009 Chevy Silverado has over 300,000 miles. Didn't want to get stranded on a road trip so I bought my first Ford. F150 Powerboost 4x4. Close to $70 K. At 43,000 mi it suffered catastrophic transmission failure. Luckily I was 2 blocks from Jim Burke where it was purchased but it still had to be towed. Used AAA cause Ford Roadside assistance sucked. Went in this morning to get the service started and they told me the good news is you purchased the extended drivetrain warranty. The bad news is we can look at it on July 11th. 81/2 weeks. Tells me the state, condition and reliability of the cars they sell if they have that many broken pos in line for them to look at mine. Thank god I still have my 2009 Silverado. Never left me stranded or towed in 24 years read more
