Just needed a very simple oil change on my Ford F150 Platinum pickup that I purchased new from Jim Burke Ford. So I went to the JBF at the Auto Mall (I usually go to the Oak Street location). [[HIGHLIGHT]]They said, "oh sure, just go right across the street to our Quik Lane."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So I go across the street - they have 11 bays and 7 of them were EMPTY (4 were occupied and actively being worked on). I go inside and tell the receptionists that I need an oil change. She gets on the computer, picks up the phone and calls out to the shop and says, "I have a customer that just needs an oil change and the system says we can do it at 11:37. That's in 2 minutes - is that accurate?" They say, "no - tell her if she wants to wait we can get her in at 1:00." We're gonna average out at 3 stars because the Service Manager saved the day. Damaged our vehicle and tried to get out of it! Martin - 1/5 stars We recently took our vehicle in for some repairs (that weren't covered by our very expensive extended warranty, obviously) and paid over $1k. Luckily the parts were in stock, so the repairs took another day or so from diagnosis (almost $200). Our tow mirrors were damaged when we got it home. Called and they told us to bring it in Monday. Come Monday, Martin immediately saw the damage and said they will not be covering it, but he will give us a quote to repair it. No thank you! He brought out his manager who, rather than immediately saying "no," looked further into the damage. The bay where it was repaired had a heater directly over the lift and the prolonged heat melted the housing of the mirror. With no hesitation, he said it was clearly their fault and he'd be removing that heater to avoid future damages and replace our mirror. I'm so disappointed in Martin. We as vehicle owners trust these people who are clearly only out for their commissions. He didn't even take the time to listen to our concerns (such as, "we don't see an impact mark...it almost looks melted. Was it exposed to any heat?") before shutting us down and making a blanket "no" statement. Unfortunately until we're out of warranty (which...what does it even cover?!), we're locked into dealership repairs. 5/10 will return. If you have a mechanic you trust, just go to them. read more

DO NOT GO THERE!!!! Bought a used car from Jim Burke Ford (which turned out to be a lemon). Since it was used it only had a 90 day warranty unless I wanted to pay thousands of dollars for a warranty. Approximately 15 days after the 90 days was up there were major engine problems. I reached out to a manager, he called me back 24 hours later and said "I spoke to the used car manager and we aren't going to help you...it's not our problem." I didn't ask for a new car, I asked what can they do to help me since I am a disabled veteran. I was willing to buy another car...but they didn't want this one back. Obviously they do not fully inspect their used vehicles or else this wouldn't have happened to me. Now I am stuck with a vehicle that has bad cams and lifters. My wife went in for an oil change and they tried to sell her multiple unneeded services and flat out lied on the inspection form. Both the engine air filter and the cabin air filter are under a month old yet their dishonest tech marked both as unserviceable. The service writer went full potato when she called them out on this fact rather than owning up to their dishonesty. Not a surprise though coming from the same dealershite that knowingly sold me a broken truck that was blue oval certified. The lack of integrity at this dealership never ceases to amaze. According to the DOT, any puncture that is in the side wall or shoulder, or shoulder to the side wall area of the tire is considered a non-repairable puncture. Punctures through the tread, if not too large, are repairable. I had my vehicle in to have the tires rotated, the service rep noticed a small screw in one tire in the non-tread section between the outer tread and the second tread over. He pulled the screw out and them told my wife he could not patch it due to its location, which according to the DOT is not true. Then he told her she needed to replace both tires because it is not good to just change one. I'm assuming that is because Ford gets twice as much money if you only buy one, so that is not good for Ford. I would assume this way of doing business did not come from the rep but straight down from the owner. The rep was friendly but trained to be a crock. Have took my car in 2 times and worst time they said I needed a new engine this was about 1 year go and my engine is still running and no problems at all took it in this last time and they said my driver side emergency break actuator needed to be replaced and it was actually the passenger side. If it weren't for the money I would of had the things done total cost would of been about 8000$ they would of screwed me over and nether of what they said was the actual problem. I didn't see a place of business for the Quick Lane. So I guess I'll leave my review here for them. Before bringing my 2014 Silverado here. I had taken it to blue ribbon automotive off Schirra Court. They diagnosed my truck with my AC system being blown. That I needed to get whole new AC kit, costing $2,600. I was not getting a good vibe of the business. So I came to bring my truck to Fords Quick Lane. Upon talking to the Manager Jimmy about my worries, he asked to let them take a look at it. I dropped it off on a Friday at 3:30pm and was given an answer by 5pm! They worked very quick on my problem and gave me the correct diagnosis for my truck. I had two blown lines coming from my compressor. I did not have to replace my whole AC unit. The team at Quick Lane saved me from getting scammed and saved me over $1,500. They have a very honest and trust worthy team. My Wife has a 2014 Ford Explorer and I've always taken it to them as well. For some reason I just thought of them to only work on Fords, but they work on all makes and cars. I will be continuing to bring my business to them from here on out. I'm probably never going to buy a ford again. I bought a 2016 Ford Focus in June of 2017. A year and a half later it's falling apart. I should of re searched better because I found a lot of other people who had problems with that car and there's even a lemon law suit against them for that reason. Gross shutters on acceleration. On top of that the service is terrible TERRIBLE. My car was in the shop for 3 weeks total because they kept charging me and saying they've fixed something but alert messages kept popping up that there was still the same thing wrong. I traded it in for a 2019 tacoma and I am so glad I got out of that while I could. I know other people weren't so lucky. read more

Less than a year and a half into a three year replacement warranty battery purchased from Ford, Jim Burke Ford refuses to replace the battery on my Ford Mustang. I will never use the dealership for service again... The battery in my Ford Mustang died so I took it down to Jim Burke Ford maintenance to have it looked into. A couple hours later the service rep Misty called me and said the battery had a bad cell and needed to be replaced. I explained that the Ford Motorcraft battery was installed 17months earlier and had a 3 year replacement warranty and an additional 3 year prorated warranty so the replacement should be covered. Misty said they needed the original purchase receipt in order to replace the battery so I would not be provided with a new battery or even a prorated cost even though it was a Ford Motorcraft Battery. I called the service manager "Thomas" and explained the situation and he responded with that was not their call as Ford Motorcraft required proof of purchase even with the battery engraved as being manufactured less than 2years before today's date. I seldom write negative reviews no matter how I disagree with service but this is one that I feel the Jim Burke Ford dealership earned. I had the same exact situation a couple months ago on my Toyota Sienna. Bill Wright Toyota Service tested the 4 year old battery, replaced it and washed my car in about 45mins without ever asking for any receipts and they didn't charge me a single penny for anything after arriving at the dealership without an appointment. read more

Was having problems with my f-250 They diagnosed it with a bad oil cooler. Estimate to repair $6000. But they would give me a discount 5000. I was stuck so I said fix it if that's the problem. Went to Pick the truck up clean air button was broken, the battery box and batteries are not fastened in parts are missing. I had to wait for all that to be fixed. Now $5000. Dollars later I'm driving away that vary night headed out of town the truck is doing the vary same thing ford was to fix. Three more trips to ford and $400. More dollars. Still the same problem. Now ford at the auto mall can't get me in for three weeks. so I take the truck to ford on oak street and that mechanic after talking to me said he thinks it is a leaking head gasket. It would be about $5500. To fix it. This time I'm not in a rush to fix my truck. I start asking questions and making calls. Now back at ford with all there paperwork and my question Answered. I start telling them and showing them there lying ways. Only to have them do it again (lies) they even said you don't have a legal case to stand on. So we will have to see about that. I made an appointment with Ford, at this location, in order to fix an A/C issue. The clerks name was Franky, or Frank, and assured me it would be taken care of by that day, so initially, I thought I'd have my Mustang back by 5 or so. I recieved no phone calls or updates, and I also called and left voicemails to said clerk with no reciprication, so I decided to stop by when I finally got a phone call from said clerk. He said the parts had to come in and that it wouldn't be ready until the following day. I bit my tongue and agreed to wait to pick it up until the following day. The following day it started to get late, and I started to call in concern that the day would end and I would have no car. Not once did Frank, or Franky, let me know that I was going to have to go another day with no car. The next day the same process happened, but somehow, luckily, my mother was able to get on the phone with him, and he explained he would get the car to us by the end of the work day. On top of this, in order to get my car I had to pay over the phone and was told the car would sit in a lit area with the keys in the glove compartment. Two weeks go by and now I am having another A/C issue, so I call the service department again and wouldnt you know, I get a voicemail with no call back or any indication that any of my voicemails are getting through. After I somehow get a hold of someone in this department, I will get this A/C issue fixed and will have to take my car somewhere where the service clerk is competent enough to answer a phone call or at least listen to his voicemails and give a call back. read more

This is by far the worst car dealership I have ever worked with. I originally ordered a truck when they told me I needed to in order to ensure production. However, I waited two months for them to tell me nothing and then told me it wasn't going to make production, but they had the same truck in transit to their dealership a week after they said mine wouldn't be made (it made production). Therefore, I would have to wait another 2-3 months for the truck to be made, but Ford wasn't even accepting orders for the 2020 models at this time, so it would probably be a longer wait. The dealership did nothing to try to make things right for not coming through with their promises and only said they would match any other offers I had from competing dealerships but I needed to show them proof.
