The food is delicious and service is always good. From 8/16/2024: I have said that I try something else every time I come. Today, I finally did. This is what I ordered: - Ham & Cheese Omelette - Hash Browns - White Bread Toast - Medium Cup of Coffee The bread is so delicious when it's buttered and toasted. I also like how they do the triangular cut. For the cup of coffee, I chose three cream and three sugar. It just tastes good this way and it cuts through the acidic taste.

No, I don't come here anymore. A cheese sandwich and almost raw French fries. My husband ate it, but we threw the fries away. We only went there because we were nearby doing our business. Maybe it's not that bad, but does a simple sandwich cost that much? And is it okay to serve fries that are raw on the inside?

The donut shop looks like it has been on San Bruno Ave for years. Old fashion sign, Donuts, fritters, bars, twists in the window display, ..that's a good sign. Went in, not much of a greeting from the guy behind the counter, asked if the Maple Bars were filled, then had to ask if filled with cream or custard... doesn't seem like the guy wants to be there...not chipper. So we ordered a Apple Fritter which was big and glazed, the only thing lacking? Not much Apple. Also ordered the Maple Bar with Custard Filling, and a Glazed Twist which lacked sufficient glazing. Maple Bar was good. Guess he knew we were from out of the area and didn't need to sell us on the place. He's right, don't need to go back. Decent donuts, generally donuts are a happy thingy but we didn't feel that way after our purchases.

Old school donuts like how they used to make it. This place rocks! They take credit cards with $5/10 minimum.

Upon leaving that other place I again smelled the baked goods so I decided to stop by. It was a bit of a line walking in and continued to grow while being there but I could see a huge variety of pastries behind the glass. I was impressed by the variety they had and decided to try a few different ones I wouldn't normally try. I picked up a cinnamon crunch donut and few different custard filled ones. For someone who isn't normally a fan of donuts let alone any filled ones, they were by far some of best donuts I have ever had. I went later in the day and was very impressed by the quality. I look forward to getting a box to go next visit.

Service is straight forward since they are open 24/hrs at the nob hill location. The donut holes looked great, but they lacked that classic fluffy texture, missing the mark on what makes a donut hole truly satisfying. The apple fritter was massive for the price, but the apple flavor was a bit too subtle. The crème brûlée donut was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, it's a nice space, but the search for a top-tier donut hole under $5 continues!

Dynamo is known for seasonal flavors! Even though this chocolate one isn't fruity, I think it is a limited flavor too? Anyway, it was delicious and I appreciate the thoughtful flavor and texture combos. You can tell they use great ingredients! I enjoyed every bite of this chocolate donut with coconut. Not overly sweet like a lot of donuts tend to be, and the coconut on top was so good, generous without being overkill. Texture-wise it was a bit dense given it's a cake donut. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience this time. I called yesterday (9/11) at 7am and spoke with Carmella about ordering a giant maple bacon donut for pickup the following morning. She let me know that they might not have bacon, but someone was possibly going to get some, and asked what my backup donut would be if they didn't have any. She took my name and phone number and said she would call me if they weren't able to get the bacon. Right after getting off the phone, I called back because I realized we hadn't discussed a pickup time. I asked if I could pick it up at 8am, and I was told it would actually be ready by 7am. I arrived this morning to pick up my order, only to find out that no one knew anything about it and the donut hadn't been made. Thankfully, they were able to put together a giant maple sprinkle donut for me at the last minute, which I really appreciated because it was important to me to continue our birthday tradition. What upset me the most was that after speaking with multiple people, no one apologized or acknowledged the mistake. I understand that things happen, but a simple apology and better communication would have made a big difference. I still like Bob's Donuts and will continue getting their giant donuts, but I hope they can improve their customer service when something goes wrong.
