This is a nice grocery store that sells organic produce, packaged goods, and to-go foods. They also seem to have samples pretty often now, which is the main reason I like to walk here on my lunch break! Unfortunately, the prices here rival that of Whole Foods; as a bit of a health nut, I've done my research and noticed that most(if not all) of packaged items here you can find for cheaper at rival healthy grocery stores or online. The same goes for the produce and to-go foods (though I think the sandwich cafe was more reasonably priced, and the Reuben sandwich I had was pretty good too). I still enjoy walking around the store and looking at the goods and trying out their samples (which are usually really good btw), but would probably not do my weekly grocery haul here. read more

Been coming here for years since I purchased my place. Prices are a bit higher than Ralph's but the quality of their meat, poultry and produce shows. There are great options for drinks, wine, etc. as well as dessert. Whoever you're looking for, you'll find it here and be out of here in a flash as the staff are very quick at checkout. The store is spacious and the isles are always clear of clutter. All products are well displayed and easily accessible. You don't have to reach too high to bend low to get what you need. There are always parking spots open in the lot and there are also tons of shopping carts or baskets to use. I'm glad there's another option here aside from Ralph's as it keeps prices competitive. If you're looking for a meal already prepared, this place has is too! I suggest their soups or salads, made fresh daily. read more

My fav lil healthy grocery store! One of my must stops when I come to Cali. Such a great selection and higher prices but you pay for what you get. Always have to go to the deli and get a sandwich with sprouts and avocado. The bakery has the best treats also which isn't great for my keto lifestyle but gotta enjoy life. As I was paying the cashier Chuck was so friendly and polite. I was telling him I was from vegas and love this store. He told me to grab a box of cookies and they were on the house! My lucky day! Sorry Henry's but you can toss Jimbo's Organic Salad. Located in 4S Ranch this Natural Food grocer has a small, but very respectable sandwich and entree Deli. Veggies in the sandwiches are organic and the meats are in the premium category. Prices for sandwiches range from 5.99 to 6.99. Prices are reasonable for this level of quality. It's tough to admit, but Jimbo's is better than my old fave Henry's. I ordered the Grilled Lemon Chicken on Sourdough. Toasted sourdough bread, grilled lemon pepper chicken, organic lettuce, organic tomato, provolone cheese, mayo, store ground mustard. Excellent. Know this! - They don't sell regular soda and chips, so figure your total will be 10 bucks if you add those to your sandwich. -Service here was casual and low key. What stood out to me with my experience was Stewart from the Deli. The staff behind there were attentive but Stewart turned out to be available when I was ready to order. He was very easy to work with in ordering my complicated order. He knew what they had available for those with special diets and was very honest with his answers. I had left the store already having a good experience with his services which is how I noticed his name. Later, there was a tiny mix up and he gladly fixed it perfectly and professionally and beyond my expectations. I was so impressed and left this store even happier. It's the people who make a huge difference. I'm so glad I came here. The prices at Jimbo's is slightly higher than that of Whole Foods. The selection of Jimbo's is narrower compared to Whole Foods, but there are some items that Whole Foods does not carry. Especially when it comes to vegetarian frozen foods and kombucha. The deli makes big, tasty sandwiches and I find the deli counter to be efficient. The choices at Jimbos's deli in regards to prepared foods and salads is not as plentiful like Whole Foods, but it is better than Sprouts. The salad bar is a lot smaller than Whole Foods as well but if you want a one time salad there is enough choices to make a good salad. Now if you were to come to Jimbo's daily for the salad bar, you would get bored. The in-house bakery selection is better than Whole Foods because there are more choices for gluten free and vegan items. Whole Foods depends on bakery items purchased elsewhere. The veggie and fruit area is not as ample as Whole Foods not Sprouts. If you were looking for only these items, go to Ralph's next door for equal quality, at a better price. My husband was looking for organic/whole grains in bulk and found a good selection. I was shopping for tea -- the Yogi teas were on sale 2 for $7 -- nice deal. The entire store smells WONDERFUL!. Organic fruits & veggies, essential oils, other natural health care products ... while waiting for my husband I just walked the aisles and savored the olfactory goodness! I used to pay their prices as kind of a splurge as I did like their quality. Today, however, the chicken thighs were undercooked (!) and surprisingly tasteless. Literally, Every single time I am in the vitamin aisle (which is alphabetical btw) I like to just look at all the cool things you can take to be healthy. I was looking for ketone sticks, yes urine sticks thinking they would sell them but kind of knew they wouldn't. They did have PH sticks to test your PH levels though. The vitamin manager explained they dont sell raspberry ketones because most of whats out there is synthetic (learned something) my favorites from here are the Fish oils in the refrigerator section. My kids love them as they taste like a smoothie. Mango Peach flavor specifically. And if its sold at Jimbo's you can guarantee no refined sugars and only natural ingredients Their deli has always been my fave. North park rumble, wild rice pea salad, almond chicken salad, organic rotisserie chicken and cauliflower enciladas are some of my families favorites. Don't forget their juice/smoothie bar is amazing too. Kombucha is decently priced and often on sale, so its my go to place for this! They even have a water dispenser in the back to bring your jugs and fill with PH balanced water. Their choice of organic local veggies and fruit are pricey but you get what you pay for, rather than Sprouts where their organic sections are limited and sometimes half rotten or over ripe and not always local. We had a small potluck gathering with some friends so I ordered a tray of assorted sandwiches from Jimbos. Initially the ordering process was less than stellar, as the deli clerk I spoke to on the phone was a bit clueless. However, I called back and spoke to the deli manager and he was awesome! One of the kids in our group had a nut allergy and while the deli clerk dismissed my concerns-the deli manager went through all the ingredients of the sandwiches to double check there were no nuts. It is a good thing he did because it turned out the curry chicken sandwich had potential nuts so he helped me sub it out. I wish I had gotten some pictures of the platters but to be honest, I was too busy eating. Every sandwich was made with care and delicious! I came by this location thinking there was a Sprouts market because I wanted one of their delicious sandwiches but found Jimbo's Naturally instead. I got the Chicken Salad Sandwich and it was....small, mediocre, and unimpressive. The sandwich itself was around $8 including tax and I got some of their Real Potato Salad on the side (sold separately from the sandwich). One thing I didn't necessarily like was that they didn't have any lunch combo - like they do at Sprouts. Also, their bread is very small and I felt like my sandwich was severely lacking in the Chicken Salad and overly crowded by their lettuce and sprouts. Their "Real Potato Salad" was also not very good compared to the one they give you at Sprouts. The market itself was clean and I imagine expensive since everything here is pretty much organic but if you want a good sandwich, try Sprouts and their lunch combo deal. It comes with a sandwich, 1/4 lb of potato or macaroni saiad, a bag of chips, and a bottle of water...all for only $4.50! I had "the Natural" sandwich which had turkey and basic veggies (lettuce, tomato, onions, sprouts) on wheat bread. Was tasty and worth the price. Totally hit the spot on a warm day. Deli gets pretty crowded around lunch time so if you go around 11 or even 11:30, you'll beat the crowds and be in and out in a jiff! As for the groceries, I haven't really needed to shop around. Looked like they don't carry the typical items on the shelves as they tend to carry items more on the healthy side. I don't shop there much, but I think it's worth the stop when in a pinch. I would give this place 5 stars... BUT, some of their stuff is waaaay to expensive. I think I saw protein shake mixes for like $40?? Besides all the stuff that I think is way overpriced. I do like their selection of everything else that's more affordable. They have plenty of fresh organic veggies and fruits. I got to try a bottle of one of their Ranch dressings... and I loved that the ingredients wasn't super long listing all types of perservatives. But, it listed things that I actually recognized. We didn't browse the actual aisles of the market, but from what I could see, it reminded me of Whole Foods, which I love!
