I've never been to this JJ before and was surprised to see no customers at lunchtime! However, after picking up my order, I understand. First the root beer I ordered had a weird taste, like soap or cleaning liquid...ick. So I thought my sandwich looked thin and when I opened it I found literally one piece of lettuce ( wilted) and one thin slice of onion ( well aged)' the meat seemed fresh and the bread wasn't too chewy, but very dry as if no dressing at all! I'll, obviously, never eat there again but holy cow, how could they serve such poor quality food? I wonder if the inspector has been there ever? My recommendation: AVOID. read more

Had a good experience. Jimmy John's is good. I don't personally find it great. A medium sandwich isn't a very big meal, the buns are slim and the toppings though good quality are not something I can describe as generous portions. I always like attending an event and seeing they catered because I know I will like my lunch, but for my personal eating-out dollars I want a bit more. No choice other than kettle chips and I find those hard on the teeth. Soda fountain was flat but when brought to the staff's attention they changed the CO2 right away. I love Jimmy John's but this particular store has failed with customer service too many times. Between slow service and rude drive thru employees this has become worse each time I go. Last time I went I asked for a Chicken Caesar wrap as unwich. I was told they can't make it despite it being on the menu. When I said that the drive thru employee said they couldn't make it. He offered that I "argue" with the manager and then interrupted me as I was trying to explain the confusion on why they couldn't make it. The manager was helpful and explained and understood my confusion but at that point I didn't want to give them my business. Every time I have ordered from here my food is generally right. They have forgotten most of the time when I order a pickle but I can leave it go. What I cannot leave and go is the fact they are charging a 5.99 delivery fee and expect me to leave a tip when you are less than 1 mile from my house. I am not stingy and I always tip accordingly if my food is done correctly, if my order is incredibly freaky fast which I can say that generally never happens. So do not think for one second I don't love Jimmy John's, but I'm not going to give a 5.99 delivery fee and then add a tip to it. #5.99theresyourtip I'm sorry but this really detracts some people who tip more usually like myself. I will never tip anyone that charges an outrageous fee for delivery. Popped in to get a gift card and I was shocked at the condition of this location. I haven't been to a Jimmy John's in years but I remember it being clean and appetizing. This location smelled horrible, the ingredients for sandwiches looked far from fresh. I didn't see gift cards and asked for help. After looking in various places and getting someone else to help we came to the conclusion they didn't have any. Ordered feb 25th around 7pm. 20mins after the order was places I got a call from them saying they had no drivers and wanted me to come in and pick up the sandwich. I love the Jimmy. Today was a #10 on French bread with Skinny Chips and a drink. Just as good as any other JJ around. Consistently good food and service. A rather loud, almost startling greeting awaits you as you walk in. The funny part is watching folks walk in and seeing their reaction to the unique, perhaps unfamiliar greeting. I'm only giving a one star because this is the lowest score I can give . The quick and short of this review is a warning to any elderly people. I take care of an elderly parent who has no teeth and struggles to bite down on some foods whole slices of tomatoes are one of them. At first I would have given this location 5 stars When I first started using this location the staff was nice enough to chop them up for our sandwiches even offering us regular sandwich bread because it would be easier on her gums. Last night I went to place an order and ultimately spoke to manager named Carl who was rude and disrespectful to me , out right refusing to do this for my order saying it was against the rules which I have later found from corporate is not the case. He hung up on me after giving me a number to the corporate office which was a false number to some dentists office. This morning I called and spoke to Jeremy the assistant manager who basically sided with Carl and refused to be any help. I'm waiting to hear from the owner of this franchise or a contact from the corporate customer service team on the issue but as it is this place discriminates against the elderly and I would refrain from doing business there. So I got a call back later that day from I guess the area trainer saying customization was never a training platform ....lol really? And she tried to apologize to me , have yet to hear from an owner on any of this despite asking to numerous times. Jimmy John's (or at the very least this franchise) in its infinite wisdom has decided to not accept the customer loyalty punch cards any more. My wife and I used to eat there almost every weekend. A contributing factor to our going there vs. Subway was the loyalty card where we could work up to a free sandwich. For a place where the food and service is adequate, the music too loud, and the price too high, the loyalty card was the only thing going for them. Without the loyalty card, we have no more reason to visit Jimmy John's. Good job guys! You alienated a regular customer by being stingy. Bye Bye! read more

NEVER. AGAIN. Will I order Jimmy John's. Placed an online order today at 1130am, only to be called at 1234pm by the store (Belton, MO. 810 E. North Ave.) stating that they received a call from their corporate office that the online ordering was malfunctioning, so they needed to take my order over the phone since I had already been charged. So, I gave them my order specifically, how I wanted my sandwich (#4 on wheat, add bacon, tomato and mustard only) what sides I ordered (chips, pickle and cookie) and what size and kind of drink I ordered (LARGE Diet Coke). At 115pm (almost 2 HOURS after my initial order), the driver shows up to deliver my order and tells me I need to pay. I explained to her that I placed an online order, and that I had already been charged, and it was verified by the manager. Once she had left, I looked at my order and nothing was right about it. My bread was wrong, my toppings were wrong, I was missing my pickle and received a medium instead of a large drink. So I called to speak with the manager again (Matthew). I asked him to read my order back that I had placed. He read the incorrect information, and I asked him where he had gotten that from and he said the online order. I asked him how he could have gotten that since he had to call me to get my online order, since that service was down. He stuttered a few times, tried reading his own handwriting, and had most of the order right, minus the sandwich. I told him that I had not received the pickle and my large drink was a medium, and asked him to refund my order price rather than attempt to fix anything at this point, since it had been so long. He flustered his words, tried to argue with me, and ultimately blamed the whole situation on AT&T (Why? I have no idea). So I asked him what they had to do with him personally messing up my sandwich order, and he didn't have an answer to that. I promptly ended that call and immediately called the corporate office, and spoke to a representative in the complaints department. They took down my information, and said they would pass this on to a regional manager who would call me back. About 10 minutes later, the regional manager called, who I told the story to once again, and said he would forward this information on to the store owner. The store owner called me at 139pm, and was rather rude. He said that he'd received an email from the regional manager about some "alleged complaints" that I had against one of his stores. I told him that these were not alleged, and that I was very upset about my order, and all I wanted was a refund. He began by saying that the stores don't give out refunds, only replacement orders. I began to speak, but he interrupted me to say that he wasn't done. So I allowed him to continue on, when he said that refunds weren't issued due to theft and that all they could do was replace my order. He then began to dictate to me his store policies, so I stopped him. I said, "Look, I don't really care what your store policies are. You're the 5th person I've talked to today about a damn sandwich, and all I want is my money back. Is that too much to ask? I don't want excuses, you haven't even bothered to apologize to me (at which point he tried, but I kept talking), all I want is a full refund." He said he would make sure that I would get my refund, and I replied, "And I'll make sure not to order from your store again." I just wanted to share my crappy experience, so that hopefully someone will read this and either agree, or decide against shopping at the store I ordered from, because this is quite possibly the worst customer experience ever. On a side note, your corporate complaints and your regional manager were both very nice. Looks like it's just a local problem. read more
