I ordered delivery. Paid delivery fee and tip. The order was supposed to arrive at 12PM, and I was waiting outside since 11:50AM. I waited till 12:40PM but the order never arrived. I called the location 10 times and they never answered. I called company customer service number and I was told they would inform management. That's it. No resolution. I wasted my entire lunch time waiting for this order and calling them. The "Track My Order" on the website gave no updates at all. It went from "Order Received" to "Repeat Order." I'm really disappointed with the service. UPDATE*** They delivered my order 50 minutes late. I actually don't mind that it was late. The guy apologized and said they had received 200 orders. I understand that things happen sometimes. I would have just liked if there was better communication from the company. We need updates. That is what "Track My Order" is for. I have no idea how this location has gone so far downhill. Food is on par with other locations but the employees are terrible. In the past 3 weeks, going here twice I've spent 20 and 30 min waiting in the drive thru for order taking and fulfillment. It has been in a spiral for a year, I've contacted mgmt only to receive a coupon but no fix so mgmt doesn't get the problem. Our office used to use them frequently and I was the last person still going due to orders being incorrect or the drive thru being completely non functional. If only their service was so good... it took close to 30 minutes to get one sandwich in the drive-thru this afternoon. To make matters worse - as I sat in the drive-thru - I could see my sandwich sitting on the ledge next to the window. If I could give ZERO STARS I would. I sat in line this evening for about 15 mins while Rachel made my sandwiches as I watch the other guy walk back and forth on his cell phone. He was the one that took my order. Once I got my order, instantly I knew it was wrong. I would have given this place four stars if it wasn't for the fact that they give you so little meat/fish/whatever your main sandwich is built around. Sure, they have extremely fast service. But sheesh! Would it be so hard to add just a little more meat? You also cannot toast your sandwich and your only option for cheese is provolone. I tried the Totally Tuna and the Billy Club. I didn't like the tuna one but I somewhat enjoyed the Billy. The one I thing I didn't like about both though was that they gave me more lettuce than anything. I'm a huge fan of Jimmy John's. This location however consistently disappoints me. Today I ordered for delivery. Which I actually haven't tried since the year they opened because I knew we are out of the delivery area. Seeing as that was a long time ago and we're only 1.6 miles away I thought perhaps the delivery area had grown (because I was also told by a manager in the past that could happen). So, I order. They asked my closest intersection, I get an "Ok" and then I place the order. When it gets delivered (20 minutes later) the person makes a point to tell me "Just so you know you're not actually in our delivery zone, for next time". Mind blown! 1.6 miles!!! When I was in college Jimmy John's was delivered by a cyclist. They definitely biked farther than this guy drove and my food arrived much faster. I've never had a bad experience here until today. While I was waiting on my sandwich, I saw the lady in the back preparing the sandwiches (for to go orders I'm assuming) place a paper in the trash can then used her hand to press the trash down further to make more room in the can. She was wearing gloves and once finished with the trash, continued back to her station and began touching the meat and sandwiches with the same gloves. When I called her out on it, she gave me a dirty look and said ", All the trash in that can is paper from the meat." I said, "OK, but is that not trash?" She walked away, switched out her gloves and then went back to work. I couldn't stay quiet and glad I said something. I know that trash can isn't food safe, unless they take it to a sanitary garbage disposal in the back . A trash can is a trash can, unless you're working in a sanitary environment. I met my husband here for lunch today. We walked in and there were 5 staff and not one said welcome to JJ. The guy who took our order had no personality or excitement with a monotone voice. My husband asked about a military discount and this is no longer given per the manager. We walked to a table and the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. I asked them to turn the head banging music down or chafe to a different channel. Again no apologies for the inconvenience. Food was ok but definitely not worth it as it was very pricey for what you get. As we were eating a girl walked by with a trash bag to the back door and kicked the door open with her foot. We were the only customers in the place and no one came in the entire we were there. After our experience I understand why. None of the staff came by to ask how our food turned out or even acknowledged us. Worst lunch ever!! We will never go back here or any jimmy johns.
