I am writing this review for this location after writing a degrading review for the East Craig location. My wife and I started coming to this location in 2024 after being dissatisfied at the East Craig Jimmy John (JJ) location. Night and day is how you describe the food, service, and the attitude of the staff. The store is clean and bathroom is always tidy when we eat there. Cannot speak about call in and or pickup orders because we always eat at the premises three to four times a month. As always I am picky about my sandwiches and they are very accommodating to my wife and I. I won't go in to detail about my sandwiches because they are all prepared to our satisfaction and the staff is always hustling and highly motivated. I find it horrible when I ordered my first sandwich and tried to make a substitute on it they were going to charge me $5.. like seriously $5 to trade out one meat for another??? That's just ridiculous. Then they don't even warn you they up charged to add cheese to your sandwich so when I ordered a second sandwich they up charged me $2.50. Like wtf that's also insane. There's no option to customize the sandwich at all. No adding oils/vinegars, salt pepper, nothing or again an up charge. Last time I'll ever come here cause that's ridiculous. 01/25/2025 The young man working the drive thru around noon today was quick and very pleasant. He is an asset to JJ.

Every time I come to this location i go through the drive thru and when i order I am interrupted about 7 times. ALL by the same lady. This lady messes up my order every single time. Then today I'm pulling up to pay and her mask is under her nose. So now I have her breathing all over my food and my hand and my credit card during a Covid surge. Like how is she even able to continue working here. EVERY TIME I come she cuts me off during my order, then reads it back correctly then my food is 100% wrong when I get home. And what can I do about it? Nothing because I'm home and I'm sure as shit not walking into that jimmy John's where they clearly don't take Covid protocols seriously. Husband ordered a Vito with no oil or vinegar, no lettuce, add mustard and peppers. Typically this location has been fine, however, I had a ridiculous experience this evening that doesn't even make sense to me. I placed a mobile order for pick-up on their app as I normally do. However, as I'm grabbing my keys minutes later to leave my house I get a phone call from the store saying that they can't honor my order because I used a promo code that they aren't accepting at this store. How is it even an issue if the app processed it and charged me just fine after entering the promo code? Ridiculous. One of the reasons I drive out of my area for Jimmy John's is their consistently fresh baked bread...well I am very disappointed with my order today. I believe the bread they used had to be days old. It was hard and inedible. i ditched the bread and ate the meats, but it just wasn't the same. i also didn't notice extra onions or pickles which were requested. I've been a loyal customer for at least the last 2 years. Sometimes as many as 3 times a week. However today that ended. I called because my sandwich had not been delivered and it had been an hour since I got the "out for delivery" notification. Someone who I found out later was the OWNER got on the phone and accused me of lying about receiving the food. He got more and more upset about it and said he would come to my house to confirm the address. Later his wife called to say they were preparing a new sandwich (because obviously the first sandwich went to the wrong address) The owner decided to deliver it himself. This was just such a horrible experience!!!! This is not the normal jimmy johns quality. The lettuce and tomatoes were wilted and gross!!! Looks nothing like advertised. Very frustrating! They literally just threw the toppings on. None of the toppings were distributed evenly on the sandwich. We bought my son autistic son a cheese sandwich and they literally put two tiny pieces of cheese and just bread. I should've watched them make them because this was just sad. Note that I have ordered from various Jimmy Johns locations in three different states. My main issue with this location is two-fold. First, they do seem to have an inventory management issue. The baguette sandwich ran out unexpectedly ("someone ordered a bunch of them and we ran out of the bread" - shouldn't you be constantly baking?) when it was a thing. Situations where condiments and other items were consistently out of stock. But second, and more important, this store is less than a mile from me, yet won't deliver, because their tool only looks at the number of blocks. I haven't been in Nevada too long, but one thing that was clear and apparent when I got here is that the developers love their blocks. So despite being less than a mile away, this store refuses to do deliveries because to them, they won't go any further than the west side of Decatur heading eastbound. Of course, the east side of Decatur is so close to where I am that I could walk to it in 2 minutes, probably less if I felt like it. This in spite of places like Dominos (which is in the same area but across the street) and Marcos (which is way up north) happily doing so - and Jimmy Johns refuses (as far as I can tell) to list on UberEats or other services. In my case, could I go down there? Technically yes. But I work from home, and can't be away from the computer or phone for the 30 minutes that's involved two-way plus waiting. Better if they simply fix the issue and map according to radius, not number of blocks, and just say you'll deliver up to a mile away. Problem solved. read more

I had preordered my sandwich with extras... cucumbers, extra onions, hot peppers and mustard. Only the peppers made it on the sandwich. I have visited Jimmy Johns an awful lot over the years and I have come here twice with mixed results. However, today's was absolutely the worst. I entered the store. Nobody greeted me. After about five minutes, informed me that they had no bread, and that it would be an extended wait for it to be done and to cool. Put in an order 12:09pm to be delivered by 1:00pm. As you can see by the screen shot I didn't receive my order until 1:24pm. Called the place at 1:00pm after checking my door only to find nothing there & their stories doesn't match up. One that picks up the phone says the driver didn't grab my order & doesn't know when it will be delivered. & when I asked for their manager Johnathan says the driver did grab my order although doesn't know when order will be delivered & that he doesn't know who I spoke to. That in itself doesn't add up right. & on top of that what's the point of putting in an order almost an hour in advance to only be delivered almost 30 minutes later? NOT freaky fast as they say in their commercials, & not reliable. What's the point of putting in a order for a specific time when it's not even going to be there on time? I ordered a tuna club sandwich from this restaurant and normally from Jimmy John's when I order a sandwich it is so thick that I have to smush it down just to be able to take a bite. This is the worst location. I ordered a tuna on wheat and when I opened it up there was about a tablespoon of tuna on each side of the sandwich, basically just lettuce and tomato. When my husband went in to have it fixed the manager tried to embarrass him by announcing through the store that he made the sandwich and that it "looked fine to him" before just slapping a scoop of tuna on my sandwich and sloppily wrapping it back up. You're not supposed to take opened food back to fix, he should have just made another sandwich. Also, my husband used to be a GM at another jimmy johns location so he's aware of portion sizes and how things should be done. The guy running this place is a clown. read more
