As someone who's worked at Jimmy John's, this location was awful. I ordered a lettuce wrap sandwich, a go-to order for me at the downtown location, and this is the first time I've had it (1) wrapped so poorly it fell apart in my lap, (2) contain multiple hairs in it to the point where I deemed it inedible, and (3) contained hardly any of the meat or cheese that the sandwich I ordered came with. The location at 2959 N Eagle Rd in Meridian, ID delivers to us. Tonight's delivery order took a full hour to reach us. Extra meat paid for was not added to sandwich. We have ordered several times from this particular location, and they always seem to have difficulty getting things right. Before this location opened, we drove through at 8151 W Fairview Ave in Boise, ID. Our food is always correctly prepared and ready when we reach the window to pay. 5 stars to the Fairview location. Update 2/4/2021 - Since writing this review and talking to management, service speed and order accuracy has improved. I will upgrade from 2 stars once we see if the improvements stick. read more

Always had great service and food before but ordered over $100 worth of food and they crammed it into one box that was just folded not even tapped on the bottom and it made it about 3 feet into our door before spilling all over the place. Jimmy John's used to be good. You know, their "freaky fast" delivery deal. I ordered a sandwich on the phone from the Overland store in Meridian, and more than an hour later called to find out where the sandwich was. She told me it was delivered - right, that's why I was calling to find out where it was. I don't do the online thing through them anymore because TWICE I placed online orders for that specific store and waited for the delivery and then found out the order went to some other store on the other side of town, and they just ignored it without contacting me. So I started calling in the orders direct. OBVIOUSLY, that doesn't help. The sandwiches are "pretty good", but not at all worth this kind of headache for a sandwich. read more

Ordered #6 veggie from #1548 store in Meridian, and when I was about to eat it at home, the sandwich was full of meat. When called the store manager, she was rude, also she acted as she is not able to hear when I complained. When I ask if they can deliver me the veggie sub, she said I have to give $3 delivery charge which is almost 50% of the sub price. Was in a bit of a rush for lunch, stopped by the drive through and ordered the #5 with no tomatoes. Got back to work to eat my sandwich and was so disappointed to see roast beef, lettuce and cucumbers. That's it. But hey! They got the no tomatoes right at least. We ordered an Ultimate Porker which is ham & bacon, no bacon. Requested no cheese, we got cheese. Ordered & paid for bacon on a Club Lulu, no bacon. Ordered a Veggie which is supposed to have avocado, no avocado. When we called to complain they argued with us, told us not to eat yet (we'd already waited more than 20 minutes) because they had to come & "inspect the sandwiches to make sure we weren't trying to get extra bacon & then consult their staff". My son had to leave for work & couldn't wait to eat. When we told them that, whoever my husband spoke to said he didn't care & if they didn't see the sandwich to prove us wrong, they wouldn't do anything. This was their second chance & they screwed up royally. Not ordering from them again. ***After waiting 45 minutes for someone to come "inspect" the sandwiches, we had to call back. Boy they're not kidding when they say freaky fast service! I also really love that they don't have a minimum order for delivery, as usually when I order it's just for myself because I'm too lazy to cook. I like the fast concept and the quality is good, but I can't deal with the over use of the mayo. Damn. It always comes layered thick like I am putting up wallpaper. I have asked for lite or no mayo and still get mayo. The other thing that weirded me out was the number of employees doing meaningless tasks in the middle of the day. It was like 230pm or so and we were the only ones with 7 employees and the manager. Got to wonder of they are making labor costs. Anyways. I order a Veggie with no tomato, ez avocado and basically all of the freebies and I get a plain Veggie, with tomatoes, no avocado and the fountain drink I ordered was flat. I am from California and recently came for a visit. Since we have little kids, a newborn myself, we ordered sandwiches every day we were here. The sandwiches are really great, I especially like the whole grain bread. I ate the turkey and roast beef sandwiches, both were really great. Maybe slow down a little. I would gladly wait a bit for a correct order. Ordered three sandwiches... two weren't correct when we arrived home. We added items on to the sandwiches... not sure why they decided not to put any lettuce on. JJ's has always been a killer sandwich shop.. I've used two others here in Boise close to my work place, however... this one one, close to my house, is a complete crap show!! I'm convinced they won't hire anyone who can read. We have ordered the same thing for a year straight, and every time it gets screwed up some how.. whether they don't include the toppings we "paid" extra for or out mayo on when asked not too. We have been comped meals as an apology and those got screwed up. So we stopped using this store. After 15 months we thought surely they've worked out their struggles and placed an order, well guess what??.... same crap, no avocado on the veggie sandwich that is supposed to have it... I asked for extra bacon and cheese on the BLT as well as avocado, I got four pieces of bacon, "I guess two pieces is standard"?... And no avocado AGAIN.. turns out my extra cheese was on the veggie since I got two slices and my wife's sandwich had EIGHT slices. I will no longer complain nor ask to have them make it right, I've given the chances and I've even stopped patronizing this store for a long period.
