Right now, this is my favorite sub place. Staff was friendly and I like the variety of sandwiches available.

I normally don't write reviews for fast food or fast casual places but I like to acknowledge good service when I get it. The staff at the Jimmy John's in Murrysville does an excellent job. Every time I place an order there it's always on time and made correctly. Also the rewards there are great. This hoagie was FREE! I love the Italian night club. One of my favorite hoagies anywhere. We entered, no customers in there. All the tables had chairs placed on top of the tables. Ordered one #4turkey and cheese. One chx bacon ranch un bun. The turkey & cheese had minimal turkey , it was edible, however my husband was hungry. The un bun sandwich was wet with water. No ranch seasoning dry or wet.No provolone cheese! Maybe a Tbsp of canned chicken if that, like you buy in Walmart. Sparce and I mean sparce onions. Took it home and unwrapped the lettuce and 3 small pieces of tomato, layered paper towels to soak up the water best as I could. Helped a little. The bacon was slimey I threw it away. It was microwave bacon! Yuck! We got home so I decided to make a salad. It was primarily a lettuce with shredded lettuce that was soaked salad. Total cost, $23.47. David took our order. He was very nice. The other young man was very aloof, looking at us like we were intrusive. I apologized for coming so late, thinking they closed at 8pm, as they had pretty much had the place closed up. I said do you close at 8? He said yes, only to see now they're open until 9. Another post has it open until 10! We told him we'd take our sandwiches home, as there was no where to sit. I understand that prices have gone up, but this place robs you! I want people to know what to expect if they decide to buy anything. BTW, water still running on my plate from all the wet lettuce! Never again. went there a couple weeks ago and today and they will not take a gift card. The cash was given up front so they should honor the gift card.

Not sure what happened with this location but over the last year it's gone down hill when it comes to accurately preparing orders. The last two times we ordered through the app, and we got 3 subs: little John (just salami and cheese), turkey Tom(no onions), and Jimmy Cubano with onions, hot peppers, and extra meat - well I get home and the Jimmy cubano didn't have any of that and was still charged for the extra meat. Ok - fine no worries it happens. A few months later we order from the app again - same order listed before. This time the Turkey Tom comes with onions and the Jimmy Cubano came with no peppers. Ok so that was it, I wasn't going to order from the app anymore. Fast forward to tonight. We go in and look at the staff member directly in the face and tell him our order: Little John of JUST salami and cheese, turkey Tom, and Tuna with Jimmy peppers, onions, and pickles. We get home and the little John has salami, capocollo, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, oregano basil, and oil and vinegar. My Tuna didn't have 2 of the 3 extras I ordered, which were no Jimmy peppers and onions. I have to give my 5 year old credit because after we removed all the ingredients he didn't want to eat, he ate half of it. Will never order from this location ever again. The only Jimmy John's that has been consistent is the one in Oakland. If you want your order to be accurate and get your money's worth go to other JJ locations or stop by Jersey Mike's just a little bit further down the road. read more

Food was great as always but originally they put mustered on one of my sandwiches (I asked for mayo). But I really liked the Little John with ham and cheese only (I recommend). The employees started whacking a ruler on the floor and laughing really loudly then proceeded to start dancing to Country Roads and they then disappeared somewhere in the back. read more

I never have a good experience here with their staff, always chaotic and there is always something either not made, like their little John bread so therefore I have to pay more for a regular, and even little things like not having napkins out ??? This place is honestly so dirty and you lowkey wait a while for a sandwhich to be made. And the food is made poorly. read more

I've been to this location numerous times and have never had a disappointing experience! The workers are all so lovely and quick to whip me up a delicious sub. (My personal fav is the gargantuan) The food is always on par and the ingredients fresh. I look forward to my weekly journey to Jimmy John's every week! I'm especially keen on two of the workers there. A blonde girl names Alexis and a handsome young man named Carson. Those two are absolute gems. When they open the drive thru window and you are hit with that smell of fresh bread.... it's joygasmic. I need that air freshner for my car. The hoagie buns really set their sandwiches. I give them an 11 out of 10. Simple but good. read more

If it were possible I would have checked 0 stars. Worst experience at a jimmy John's ever was last eve in Murrysville. I left work starving. Jimmy John's is just up the road , and I had a #9 craving. Hit the drive thru which is usually super quick. Not tonight. Car in front waited and waited. After 6 minutes took their order. I pull up and 7 mins goes bye, no one talking. I say hello anyone home? A young guy replies, someone will be with you shortly. Three more minutes go bye and finally place my order. Pull around, car in front waiting at window. Several minutes pass, I pull up to wait another 6 minutes. Total time waiting now 24 minutes. Get home eat my sandwich. Go to bed a few hours later to wake up to severe abdominal pain and a trip to the bathroom. While praying on the toilet at 12:30 am I vow never to venture to Murrysville jimmy John's again! Once I arrived to this jimmy johns i was greeted by this nice girl with great eyeliner. But the woman making the sandwiches was RUDE. I asked for my sub and she PURPOSEFULLY didn't put any meat in my sub. Just lettuce and tomato with dressing. I visited the Jimmy John's in Murrysville last night. I ordered a giant Italian Night Club sandwich. I received very little meat, absolutely no lettuce and no seasoning and the bread was not fresh. That is not indicative of the standard for Jimmy John's that I have grown accustomed to. I decided to call the store with my concerns. When someone answered the phone, I said hello and asked if I could speak with the general manager or regional manager if possible. The person on the other end just simply asked why? No professionalism no decorum...just why and rudely! I begin to explain why I was calling and the person on the other end said Mam I am busy and it is the lunch rush. I then asked what was their name. They did not give me a name but stated that they were indeed the general manager of the store. It became very apparent to me that this is exactly why I received the sandwich that I did and why this individual was speaking to me in the manner that they were. If your general manager is rude and unprofessional why would you expect the staff to be any different?. Why would you expect to receive a good meal with fresh food from a general manager who is dismissive to customers and unprofessional on so many levels? I will not remain a customer. This was such an unpleasant visit and not to mention the money that was wasted. The phone call solidified my decision. We've been back a few times since my previous ratings and the experiences were much better.

As I read the negative ad I just have to wonder if that customer mistook another sandwich store for this one. I went on two separate days and the service was excellent, the food was great, and the service was quick. The employees were smiling and happy. The sandwich was absolutely fantastic and filling without being overstuffed. I wouldn't hesitate to go. Back and assure you I will. I just wish they had one closer to me for delivery because I'd order everyday. Bottom line is: 1. Fast service 2. Great Food 3. Great Value 4. Pleasant staff 5. I've come to really admire the sandwiches at this place. Yes...it's a "chain" restaurant. Yes...it's somewhat similar to its competitor. Yes...it's not a real "sit down" type of place. It's Jimmy Johns. You know what it is before either walking in or driving thru. They serve really good, well portioned sandwiches really, really quickly. While it's not a traditional deli or mom and pop shop, it's fast, convenient eats served in a friendly manner...all done consistently. If I'm in the area and don't have time for a lengthy lunch...this is one of my go to spots. You can go from order to done eating in 15 minutes. When you're in a hurry (and you're hungry), that's tough to beat and good enough for me. read more

Placed an order on the app and drove to the store only to find a sign on the drive-thru that they ran out of bread. You'd think they'd close mobile orders if the store was closed. This Jimmy John's is poorly managed. On three occasions now we have gone in to buy subs at or around 6pm and we were told that they were out of bread. It happened again tonight. We were told that bread would be ready in 40 minutes so we decided to run some errands and return. We arrived at 6:45 pm and ordered our sandwiches. We sat in a booth to eat and were told that they had already cleaned the dining room and it was closed and we had to leave. The posted hours had closing at 8pm. What is this BS. I asked to speak with the manager and she said it was the owners rules. This location will never see another dime from me. If you're looking for a great sub, go to Donna Lynn's 1 mile west on rt22. Average sandwich. The location seems to be built to serve a highly populated neighborhood. 3 order taking stations in the back and two serving lines. Yet when I visited, there was no customers Anyway. Good sandwich. Nothing special that the local shops can't do. Save a trip here and patronize the little local places that do it better. read more

This chain is normally pretty good. This particular restaurant is definitely not. Two times in a row my sandwich showed up with the bread looking like it had been cooked in satan's own oven. The third time it came with so much oil and vinegar that the wrapping paper on the sandwich was dripping when I pulled it out of the bag. However after paying on the app and waiting for it I get a call that they don't deliver to my area, which is extremely surprising since I live very close. Regularly visit Jimmy Johns when I'm in the area. Incredibly friendly staff, and always great food! The store is always very clean when eating in, and awesome choices of music! They always are super patient with me and my children. I don't understand what some of these other complaints are on about. Every time I have stopped in there it has been a pleasant experience. Bread always tastes fresh and my kids are OBSESSED! Highly recommend stopping there if you are in the area. My family and I love it! read more

Quality has gone down significantly. The food is always the same, but customer service is in a nose dive. What used to be friendly delivery drivers who could follow the simple instructions to find the office for a delivery are now kids who put drink cups in paper bags (?!??), regularly forget sides, and literally can't find one of the most prominent buildings in Murrysville for a delivery, let alone an office therein. read more

Went into jimmy johns asking for giant BLT sandwich with provolone cheese and mayo. Made sandwich very quick and got home to open it to see they only made it with provolone cheese, mayo, and bacon. Called them saying there was no lettuce or tomato and they told me that they made an assumption that I only wanted provolone cheese and mayo. Very rude on the phone and acted like it was my fault, but if I remember correctly every BLT comes with bacon lettuce and tomato. They added the bacon... they then told me if I drove all the way back to the store they would add lettuce and tomato. I got there and everyone was confused why I was there. They remade my sandwich, and I was upset I had to drive all the way back for lettuce and tomato. I asked for a refund for time and gas I used for their mistake. They told me I could have the sandwich or a refund. I took the refund without the sandwich I came in for in the first. I will not be going back. read more

First time visit at this name sub shop with a friend and ate inside. VERY high step to get into booths. Counter-ordered food with very abrupt/rude employee taking order. Took my order and money and that was it, no directions on how to get the order was given, even after I said it was my first time there. Just handed a receipt with a number. Went back to booth to wait to be called to the other end of counter. Another employee calls out your number and I encountered yet another employee who was unfriendly, just quickly shoving the two subs at me. When we opened the packaged subs, we saw they were not cut in half. I went back to the counter and asked if they had plastic knives? "No, we don't, you can bring it back up and we'll cut it". I had to go back to the booth, pick up both unwrapped sandwiches/wrappers, go back to counter so the employee could cut them with a knife, again, doing so, as if it was a major inconvenience. The sandwiches were alright, nothing to write home about. Not sure what all the rage is about as we had heard it was the best sub shop and people whom we knew were so glad it came to the area. :( read more

Unbelievably the WORST experience i ever had for service. Inexperienced employees,horrible attitudes towards guests and employees...as i sat for 20 minutes waiting for my food,i saw 3 guest receive free meals for their screw ups. .5 people walked out..one employee was freaking out,rubbing sweat off his head constantly. .ewwwww! He was slamming doors,throwing hoagies, and had a very very poor attitude. They kept trying to give my order to two different people opening it and reclosing it to see if it was the right items for them.. after so many hands being in our food and waiting for 20 minutes we decided for a refund ..we will never return.completely disgusted! Sad because i love jimmy johns and had been to the one in the city and was super excited to get one in the suburbs. ..ugh..hire and educate your employees!!!!!!! read more
