This place is filthy! The staff is rude and the came from outside smoking cigarettes and wash their hands. The manager said he was going home during his shift to take a nap and that he would come back later. The employees were throwing ice at each other and the floors were full of litter and roaches. One of the worst morning breakfast. They don't have chicken option but they had veggie. We went for it and got tons of lettuce inside bun with sauce. I handed the clerk at the window my credit card and he asked if I wanted to leave a tip? I hadn't even received my food, nor could I see who was making my sandwich. They are always fast , allow you to pay seperate, and give you totals for each order so you can make sure everyone pays . There is a delivery charge per order but it's cheap . This is a great spot for a cheap lunch when most of the other surrounding restaurants on riverwalk is expensive. The smallest sandwich is 8" and it was too much sandwich for me for lunch, but it was good. The bag of chips came with a lot of chips in it, which was really nice. read more

(Where you can build the wrong orders and get away with it). Twice we were told that it would be 15-20 minutes before they would be serving walk ups. We waited patiently since our family really wanted JJ. When we finally got our food, one entree had the wrong meat. Oh well, let them literally cater to the fat cats in buildings. The bread is also reminiscent of "pan" like used in a torta, kinda crispy & buttery. What I don't like about this place; a bit inflexible on changes, requests & variety of options. While on a business(ish) trip in the San Antonio area, I didn't want anything fancy or too rich, and ended up grabbing a veggie sandwich from JJ's twice -- and it was a genius decision, both times. I also appreciated that the gal checking me out pointed out I could get a different sandwich for cheaper than what I had originally ordered (a veggie deluxe(?) has a lot of cheese--and I had asked for one with less cheese, so yes, yeah, sorry complicated). Jimmy Johns is one of my guilty pleasures. I'm often eating low carb meals and one of the tastiest things is an unwich. I probably eat at a jimmy johns 2-3 times a week. Their delivery is always extremely quick, and the prices are pretty fair. I find it extremely convenient to order delivery as I am constantly working out of hotel rooms. All of their sandwiches are solid but my recommendation is to have them "take the bread out" when you order your next sandwich. That means that they'll take the excess inner bread of the sub out and it creates a perfect balance of crunchy bread on the outside with awesome meatiness on the inside. Don't forget the limitless freebie toppings. This particular location has been just as good as any other I've been to. I haven't had any incorrect orders or untimely deliveries. I have probably eaten here 8-9 times in the past 3 weeks. read more

Ok I know some of you may think it's mediocre and ok but when you get back from walking around the Alamodome in the pouring rain with a teen child who has a duffle bag, trumpet, hat box and his uniform after a UIL competition, this will be the best darn sammie you will ever eat. When we got back to our hotel room, we were soaked, tired, thirsty and hungry. it was 830pm and the guy on the other end of the line was Sooooo nice and the delivery was freaking amazing...on a bike, in the rain. First of all, when I called in to place my order, the man provided terrible customer service and after what should have been a simple 4 minute call it ended after 9.
