Oh Jimmy Johns where have you been? I used to eat Jimmy Johns almost every other day in college. And I never want to make the trek down to Tempe to get you. You are by far one of my favorite places to eat. You trump Subway and Quizno's every single time. Every time I go I am never disappointed, the only thing I wish would be different is that I would order two sandwiches instead of one. OK, but really. This is an awesome place to get a quick bite to eat. I love the sandwiches, have never had a bad one. My all time favorite is the Club LuLu. Turkey, Bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. It's simple, but it's the best. Oh and always put jalapeño chips on your sandwich. It makes it that much better. So glad that they opened a Scottsdale location, it's close to work, easy to get to. Only thing you have to worry about is finding a seat because the place is tiny. I'm not really sure where I ate in Scottsdale before Jimmy Johns.... Did I even eat? read more

Good food and very nice staff. They will even serve you before they open while they are setting up for the day. Big fan of the beach club wrapped in lettuce. My daughter ordered our sandwiches ahead of time. The place was packed around 12:30 PM. So difficult to get to the soda machine which is located where you pick up your sandwiches. Other than that, I loved the french bread and everything in it was fresh. I ordered the Vito sandwich which had Genoa salami, provolone, capicola, onion, lettuce and tomato topped with an Italian vinaigrette which I barely tasted. There own chips are like the Maui chips thick and crunchy. I'll be back to try something different. read more

I love Jimmy John's, and am glad to see they now have some in NJ! Every time I've been here, from the time I place my order to the time I have my food, it's been less than 5 minutes. The food has always been great. My favorite sandwich is the Vito, which is their version of an Italian sub. They also have "slims", which are smaller sandwiches for those counting calories. For those not watching their calories, they have giant club sandwiches, and even something called the gargantuan! This is hands down the dirtiest worst slowest jimmy John's if not fast food place in AZ, the 13 employees including the over weight manager who was using his mask to cup his double chin while he coughed all over the food, took 28 min to make 3 sandwiches for me and the two other customers while we waited and watched 1 man struggle to make the sandwiches and the others pretended to play basketball with balled up trash. 13 morons + 3 sandwiches = 30 min. This place is great!! Excellent subs. Quick service. And fresh food! I think what I like most is their bread is always so fresh tasting! I came in here for lunch with my 2 kids. I ordered a tuna club. I received it on a sub roll and they said thats how it comes. The picture on the menu clearly shows wheat bread. How has a club turned into a sub? anyway they fixed it no problem but the sandwich was just awful. no taste. My kids ordered a slim with turkey and they wouldn't even change the cheese for me, provolone only they said! I hate how jimmy johns makes you ask for napkins and a packet of mustard. could this restaurant be any cheaper?The cashier was a nice kid but his teeth were rotted horribly. I felt bad for him but it completely ruined my appetite. I understand everyone needs to work but I feel they should put somebody with a better image when working at the front counter. Super fast service of OK-tasting subs. I've definitely had better, so the signs hanging all over the place that claim that they're "gourmet" is definitely a bit of marketing puffery. Yes, it's gourmet compared to....actually, I think Subway makes a better sub, so I can't really compare it to being more gourmet than anything really. Maybe it's gourmet because they put a ton of sprouts (and lettuce) in the sub? I will give the place props for the very speedy service. I ordered my sub and it was handed to me within 1 minute. Freaky Slow... Slowest Jimmy Johns I've ever been to. There was no line when I walked in only about 4 booths taken with existing customers and it takes the guy about 3 min to ask me for my order then another 10 minutes to make the sandwich. Being that I have to avoid sugars and carbs most of the time, I wasn't expecting Jimmy John's to have anything for me. I tagged along here with my friend for lunch to see what it was about. Thankfully they have an Un-Wich, which is their version of a Lettuce wrap. It was actually just as good as eating a sandwich. Sure there was no bread, but I'm all about the meat, cheese, veggies, and sauce anyhow. The lettuce was crisp and held together long enough to enjoy eating the full thing, and it was just as satisfying as eating a sandwich. I figured that worst case scenario they would have a salad option, but surprisingly they either don't or I just couldn't find it on the menu. Horrible service today. If I could give less than one star I would. I order from this place often and will not be ordering anymore. Ordered food and it was taking a long time. I called twice and the person told me it should be about 15 mins my order was next. After being polite because they had a driver call in. Twice I called to just ask and be pleasant. Third time I called I cancelled. This was 2 hours later for the shop being less than 2 miles away. I cancelled and about a min later the driver called me to come get my food. I went down stairs and the driver told me that they called him and told them not to bring my food to me that I had cancelled. I said I have to go to work but can you recharge me even though it's Already been 2 hours snd that I understand it was not the drivers fault. He said he would check and I said no it's okay I have to go work now. I decided to call back again, not happy and asked to speak to a manager, which I never do, and said that even though I cancelled the food, it came right after and that I was pissed they said do not bring it to bring it up. I would have paid but then the manger kept saying we are really backed up. I said I understand that but the two previous times I called you said 15 mins and I think that after waiting two hours you probably should have just given it to me. The manager said they couldn't. I will not be ordering for here again. As now I have wasted 2 hours being up where I should have been asleep before my night shift at the hospital. I love jimmy john's especially this location. I have been ordering yummy sandwiches several times a week for a very long time. I even know all the employees names. They deliver to me if I am in my apartment, in the club house or even at the dog park . Unfortunately, I am moving to another apartment complex this coming Monday . I had to be out of my old apartment by last weekend. I found myself with a week where I had no place to live. Luckily. I have friends who rented me their guest house for a week. There was no television, no microwave and no food. Today I was starving. I knew my jimmy john's was too far away from where I was staying. I looked on the jimmy john's map and called two other locations. No one would deliver to me. My zip code was in what they call a dead zone. This is totally ridiculous. I wanted my favorite sandwich and because I was approximately 6 blocks further east. they were not allowed to cross the invisible line and deliver to my address. I will be back in my old jimmy john's zone by next week. But in the meantime, I will have to eat Subway or Jersey Mike sandwiches. What a shame.!! read more

This place has great bread. Really fresh and chewy. The food is served fast and the price seems to be pretty good as well. The only 2 things that keep it from a 5 star is that the subs seem to lack originality, and they don't deliver late-night at this location. Then after you order you have to stand by the counter and wait for your order to be called out through the very loud ACDC music playing. I was given my sub without napkins and it was not cut in half. What a HORRIBLE experience we had with Jimmy John's today. It took over an hour and two phone calls to this location to receive our food. Come to find out our food had been sitting there the whole time - yet we had been told it was out for delivery. Our ice teas were warm when they arrived. When it was finally delivered, I requested that a manager call me regarding this situation and four hours later I still haven't heard from anyone. Very disappointed! read more
