This place always amazes me. You barely have time to finish ordering when they call you're number. The food is good. I mean it's hard to go wrong with Jimmy John's. The store is nice and clean. Service was good. The manager was fun and very friendly. They are not kidding about "freaky fast". Make sure that you know your order before walking up to the counter though! Sandwich was ok, nothing special. If your looking for fast and fairly in expensive this works. read more

Can I get a mayonnaise sandwich please? I ordered a #11 no mayo and all I got was stale bread, processed turkey and gobs of nasty mayo. People rave about how good this place is, it was my second time here and I think they have the worst sandwiches made. Gourmet? Nope. No yellow mustard either unless you want to squirt it on from a packet. They did offer me Dijon but if you don't know the difference between the two then you have no business making sandwiches. FOLKS WITH PEANUT ALLERGIES!! Soo I'm not bagging on Jimmy Johns... Their sandwiches are amazing and well everything else on the menu. BUT.... be careful with some of the things they might tell you. My experience today was not the best. I went to the jimmy johns on sparks blvd and went through the drive through. They were SUPER busy which is understandable due to the 1$ sandwich sale they were having (which they did not adhere due to under staffing(also understandable)) . but what wasn't understandable was when i ordered my sandwich, I specifically asked the lady if the chips that they have are cooked in peanut oil.. I had heard that from a former employee but just was making sure.. well she had told me that they did NOT cook them in peanut oil and was consistent that they were kettle cooked another way. Well maybe she didn't know you could kettle cook in peanut oil but she was consistent about telling me they were NOT cooked in peanut oil. So i said alright i believe you and ordered them. I get to the front i pay, and she hands me all my food and quickly shut the window as i drive off. Well come to find out i look down and about to open the chips and take a bite of one.. well thank god i didn't.. in BOLD letters it says right on the FRONT of the bag " cooked in 100% PEANUT OIL" This is not just a minor issue, this is huge! I went into anaphylactic shock from 1 pecan.. i don't even wanna imagine what would've happened if i didn't read the bag before i shuffled down that bag of chips. AHH! I'd croak!! When i called them back to tell them what happened, i asked to speak to a manager and did.. he told me they're are some new staff members that most likely didn't know about that.. well i think it should be noted to everyone that the know that they are definitely cooked in peanut oil, and next time someone could actually eat the whole bag with out knowing, maybe in a rush and didn't look at the bag or the customer believed the worker and a law suit could be filed over hospital bills for anaphylaxis or even a dead body. Plus the manager didn't seemed too worried about it, which for me, was kind of an insult because something major could've happened. Again I'm not saying jimmy johns is not good. I love Jimmy Johns i just think they should keep they're staff as knowledgeable as they can. I'll be going back just hopefully next time I ask and tell them I'm deathly allergic to something they will actually say something about maybe staying away from it if it means a life or death situation. read more

Let me start by saying my wife and I have eaten at this Jimmy Johns 4-5 times a week since it opened. The employees are always friendly and the food has almost always been great. However they recently switched their bread and it now is hard like it is day old bread. The only thing that really separates these sub places is the bread and if we liked hard day old tasting bread we could go to Subway. We will no longer be eating at Jimmy John's unfortunately. read more

Ordered a ham and turkey sandwich, got 1 piece of ham, 1 piece of turkey. My daughter ordered the sandwich without produce and got a normal amount of meat. I've been to many Jimmy John's, this one is by far the skimpiest when it comes to sandwiches. Eat somewhere else if you are actually hungry and not affluent. read more

Never been. stopped by on a road trip. it's something quick, simple and filling than the usual fast food. Love that the sandwiches are prepared so quickly. Negative was they were mopping the floor an hour before closing which made the floor very slippery upon walking in amd I almost slip and fell. The employees just watched it happen and didn't acknowledge anything. just young people working so I didn't expect them to know what to do. read more

I was surprised my sandwich didnt taste like it normally does (JJ on longely usually lunch spot). I was in Sparks today so I thought Id try it out. It was pretty busy but fast as usual. I went into the sparks Jimmy Johns, having been to a different one before and previously loving it! I ordered the #4 Turkey Tom and my fiancé and I were going to split it at home. My fiancé doesn't like tomatoes so I asked if they could put them on only half and the guy said "uhm... it's either on all of it, or not at all" which I thought was weird. Then he asked me if I wanted avocado and cheese so I said yes of course! The girl had it done before I even finished paying. When I got home, there was no tomato, avocados or cheese, even though I was charged for it and it had the thinnest slice of turkey. I paid 8$ for bread smothered in mayo. Yeah...this place sucks. It's very basic sandwiches and by basic I mean BASIC. They only provolone cheese?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Have tried them 3 times since being open. It's just not that great. If you order one of their regular sandwiches, you'll look at it like it's missing lots of stuff. You have to order a sandwich with double the meat to even look like half of what a port or subs sandwich looks like. Bread is fresh but the whole thing is disappointing. Super expensive for what you get. If they just opened and their drive thru isn't slammed at lunch time...there's a problem. Went to jimmy johns to try it out. Really how hard is it to make a sandwich. First off the sandwich I ordered comes with mayo. Was there mayo on it of course not. I also ask for mustard and that to wasn't on it. Plus there is barely any meat which makes this place a bigger joke of a sandwich shop. So for $10 it's pretty much a rip off. Very disappointed in this place. My company is less than 2 miles away and they refuse to deliver to East Greg Street. I was told it takes too long. I had already taken orders or I would not have ordered from them. It took me a total of 10 minutes there and back. Just lost quite a bit of business from us. First time and last time at Jimmy Johns! I don't see what all the hype is about. Service was fast but sandwich was horrible. $6.14 for a Big John with added Provolone cheese, which is the only cheese option they have at an added .70 cents. Sandwich was mostly all lettuce. Very little meat and the bread was very thin. The thickest part of the sandwich came from all the lettuce that was somewhat brown. No flavor. I'll go elsewhere to get a way better gourmet sandwich! read more

I had heard that Jimmy John's had great sandwiches. My husband and I tried the Sparks location and were very disappointed. First and foremost the sandwich: The bread was flat as a cracker as if someone had sat upon it. For $8 I received a flat sandwich with a single slice of turkey layer (only 2 slices on the entire sandwich), mayo, and a couple of slices of tomato with about a 1 inch spacing between. I was asked if I wanted provolone cheese and said yes without knowing there was an addition $.92 charge for one slice of cheese for the entire sandwich. (it only covered the center) When I got home I was extremely surprised at the lack of content in this sandwich. There was a sign at the register showing all the ingredients that are on the sandwiches. I was not asked about them nor did I receive any of them, but the tomato. NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Secondly, the music is so loud you cannot hear yourself think. And Lastly, we ended up having to ask about the status our order at the pick up window. Might have been because of the noise, but our sandwiches were just left on the counter, luckily with the receipt so we could see that it was ours. We asked for a bag, this was a to go order, and were told yes but then not given a bag. Workers seemed to not care much about the customer. read more

My boyfriend and I went to Jimmy Johns to try something we have never had before. I know this location is new with many new employees. I wasn't unhappy with my experience, but this is because I am understanding of how it is starting off new, with new employees. Overall, Jimmy Johns in sparks was good, but not worth another visit. I was not impressed and I have a list of complaints. #1) The employees did not communicate with me. I told them what I wanted and I had no idea how the system worked at Jimmy Johns. I thought you told them what you wanted on your sandwich after you purchased it but apparently it doesn't work that way. I was not asked if I wanted any "freebies" with my sandwich or if I wanted chips or a drink and may I add in that up selling is important in almost every business. I did in fact want freebies but after I told her I wanted a number 1 and number 12 she asked if that was all and I replied yes not knowing that was her finalizing my order. I did however order a drink in the end which is where I have #2) The lady assisting me set my cups rim down on the dirty counter. I like to chew on ice and that was not happening after she did that. #3) The place was an absolute mess. With how many employees working, the place should have been spotless. The tables, chairs, and floors were very dirty and It was also the first thing I noticed when I walked in. I am scared to know what the bathrooms looked like. I will also add that while We were eating, an employee began moping RIGHT BESIDE our table. So close that she hit me in the head with the end of the mop by mistake. It was funny and amusing. I laughed, and she apologized but she shouldn't have been moping so close to our table. I don't know what she was mopping anyway because it didn't make any difference of the dirty floor. #4) There were no napkins, or napkin dispenser. I do not feel it should be necessary to ask for napkins they should be at easy access and they were not anywhere affront the counters. #5) The bread on my sandwich was very stale and hard.
