One star. I walked in today with only one customer ahead of me. The employee took her order, then immediately started training a new hire while I stood there waiting. Ten minutes went by and no one ever acknowledged me or took my order, so I left without ordering. To the owner: training new staff is important, but not at the expense of customers standing right in front of you. Take the orders first, get them made quickly, and train during downtime. If you can't serve the customers you have, the new employee won't have any customers left to serve. This is supposed to be fast food. I won't be back, and I can't recommend this location to anyone until the priorities here change. read more

First sandwich of the new year and it did not disappoint! This location always loads up the ingredients and never gets my order wrong, even when I order through the app which I really appreciate. This time I went with the #5 Vito and a side of their kickin' ranch chips. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the chips were the perfect addition. I also love how many customization options the app offers. They really give you the freedom to make your sandwich exactly how you want it. On top of that, I was pleasantly surprised with a free birthday sandwich reward through their rewards program. I highly recommend signing up if you haven't already. This is my final time here. It's really getting worse and worse, and idk why I keep paying for incorrect food. On Wednesday I stopped to order a Giant Lulu, a bag of salt n vinegar chips, and a drink WITH THE AMAZING HOSPITAL ICE PELLETS in the soda machine, and some oil and vinegar on the side for $30!!!!!! But I'm splitting it cause it's plenty for two and better be for $30 with nothing fancy extra. (The thing is with Jimmy John's, they have a strange flavor synergy with their fresh white bread and umami of their deli turkey, which gives a real "comfort feel" from their sandwiches and that's the only thing keeping me coming back, but alas, THEY GOT MY ORDER WRONG!!!!!!) Question????? Why did they put Cesar dressing on my sandwich and in the containers on the side????? HOW COULD $30 be in play for such an odd error of no vinegar AND oil, but one completely different sauce with no double checking or reading of anything but wrong for $30..... This really made me sad. I tried to walk in to order at Jimmy John's today but was stopped at the door and told they were "too busy and not taking any other orders." That was fine, the girl was nice. But it was a little weird they would turn a customer away instead of just asking me to wait longer. I walked away, got my kids lunch at Dink's and then was planning on ordering online for delivery when I got home. When I downloaded the app and tried to order for delivery, I found out my address is outside of the service area. That's fine too, but I called Jimmy John's to ask what their delivery area radius was. The guy I spoke to was immediately rude and unhelpful. I tried to tell him that I came in earlier but was turned away and he was defensive, sarcastic, and had a mocking tone. I asked if he was the manager and he said yes. He suddenly said to let him know if there was anything else he could help me with, and I asked for the name of his supervisor and he hung up on me. I called back, the same person answered and put me immediately on hold. Just "Jimmy John's, please hold." I waited on hold 5 minutes, hung up, called back, and spoke to a girl. I asked for the manager. I was again put on hold, then spoke to the so-called manager again. I tried asking for his supervisor's contact information. He kept laughing, making jokes, being super mocking and unhelpful. He said he was the general manager and did not have anyone above him. He said, "Ohhh you want to speak to Jimmy John?! He's in Chicago." It almost seemed like he had an audience and was making fun of me. Like he was getting pleasure out of our interaction. Then he told me he "didn't have his supervisor's contact information, but if he did, he wouldn't give it to me." The whole thing seemed like a game to him. It was really frustrating and upsetting. I told him that during the entire situation he was being a complete asshole. He started raising his voice to me and then hung up on me. I was mildly upset about not being able to order in store when I went in today, but now I am extremely upset to have been treated this way. I called the other Jimmy John's in Valencia and was told that the manager's name at the McBean location is Justin, so I guess that's who I was speaking to. Came here for a quick lunch with a coworker after running some errands. I ordered a Vito as an unwich with some modifications, including no tomato, add jimmys mustard, and hot peppers. Got my order and headed back to work. Opened my order to find it was covered in mayo. Which was weird since the Vito does not come with mayo and I definitely did not mention mayo in my order. And it wasn't something I could just scrape off, it was literally COVERED in mayo. I work down the street so I called and asked if they could fix the order and deliver it, since my food was inedible. They couldn't locate my order (I threw my receipt out thinking I wouldn't need it) but finally agreed to remake it and deliver it. Delivery driver showed up and was very kind. However, I opened it up when I got back to my desk and it had tons of tomatoes and the meat was greyish. I threw that one out too.
