Great bread, quick service, tastes great! Always a good filling meal as an alternative to other fast food.

Well hallelujah! Nick Fetherolf, the general manager of…read morethe Polaris Swensons has finally gotten Swensons returned to its former Akron area glory. Okay people. Start eating at Swensons! You wont be sad you did! Why???? Since my last written review, I've been to this location three times since this review. And let me tell you each of those three times everything has been perfect. The car cops are again actually running! They are supposed to do this. It ensures your food is delivered quick and timely no unnecessary long waits. This made me happy So happy. But what made me happier? They have finally got the right flavor of their signature burgers. A Swensons burger should have a little bit of sweetness to it. It did!!! The bun should always be fresh. It should have a little bit of butter grilled onto it. It should come out to you warm. It was. The lettuce should be crisp, green. It was! . There should be enough cheese on it to taste cheese. The cheese ratio was ideal. The past three trips this has been exactly what I have experienced. I was thinking it was a fluke, but its not. This manager has finally gotten things running sloothly. not only have the car cops run, but the burgers have been flawless, even down to the extra bacon, nice and crispy, but not overcooked and the grilled onions have been grilled perfect perfectly Color me impressed The staff at the Polaris location is excellent Big shout out to Owen the carhop that I had today. Thank you for helping me. I enjoyed my trip in.

Finally I pulled in where the big menu sign, I just parked there, don't know what to expect. You know how you pull into Sonic Drive In; you press the red button and someone will take your order over the speaker? Well.. not here, so I'm like ooookay; I look around and see maybe a camera they see me parked here? How is this work?? I see a sign says "Turn on the light for service" at this time, some guy came up to me and put something on my windshield, asked me I'm ready to order. I'm like I don't know, I never been here before, how is this work? So if you like me, never been here before, this is how it work. If you been here before, you can skip this part. So there is a big parking lot, once you pull into a spot, you turn on your light, someone will come and help you, once you ordered, you turn your light off. Ah....now you know. I like the double cheese burger, this come with onion, pickles and mustard only, I like my burger with lettuce and tomato, add on is $.39 each topic, that's cool, large fries please. The guy is super nice, very friendly, he recommended something else with bbq sauce in it, I'm not into it, I just took the double cheese burger Now the burger is nothing special, is good, better than Mickey D or Burger King, Fries is a-okay, nothing special I won't go out my way to eat here, but if I have to pick Mickey D or Burger King or KFC, I will pick this spot for sure, you know what I mean. Food I giving it 3/5 Service is 5/5 The guy is super nice, and he actually run to the customers, I tipped him $2 cash, and the food I think came out like $9 and change, pretty affordable

I got the chicken club and powerhouse salad for $12, which was enough for 2 small meals. The club was good, with chicken breast, bacon and I pot hot peppers, tomato and lettuce with the spicy bbq sauce, not too much bread - just the right amount. The salad was solid too, tons of toppings. The service was fine for fast casual. The ambiance is as expected for fast casual. I was pleasantly surprised and would go again!

It's been a minute since I've been here, and honestly, I forgot how good it is. I went all in with the Chicken Pot Pie Soup, Mama's Meatball sandwich with peppers, and a bag of Zapp's Hot Pepper chips--because moderation is for people who don't love flavor. The Chicken Pot Pie Soup? Well, let's just say it leaned more "cream of chicken" than "pot pie." The crusty topping... I'm not sure what sorcery that was, but it had the texture of something between a crouton and a pulverized Ritz cracker that lost its way. Not bad, just... confusing. cracker The Mama's Meatball, though, stole the show. Delicious, saucy, and stacked like it's proud of itself. The peppers gave it just the right kick. And Zapp's chips? Always a chaotic good choice. Overall, great lunch, great company, and a reminder that Potbelly still knows how to make comfort food without overcomplicating it. Would I come back? Absolutely. Just maybe I'll skip the soup--or bring a pie crust of my own next time.

A wise person once told me "Carla, looks aren't everything." Let's be real here, when it comes to…read morefood and people, looks help. People like pretty things. I like my food to look just as good as it tastes, with the exception of Skyline Chili. My better half had a hankering for chili and because I didn't feel like putting up a fight, because I get to choose where we are going for dinner, I let him have Skyline (and let him get me some). Wife of the year. He got the order to go. I asked for two chili cheese sammies, no mustard or onion. When I opened the box there were three. He said "Well, if you don't eat the third, I will." Looks aren't everything, because If they were I probably wouldn't have eaten these. They didn't look awful, but they also didn't look great. Prior to eating them, I thought, "Nope, I'm only going to eat one and a half, maybe two, but definitely not three." I bit into the first sandwich, then proceeded to eat all three. The aroma of cinnamon, chili, garlic, flew through the air. The chili was rich, topped with a ton of shredded cheese. Skyline Chili is a Greek recipe, and you can tell that by the notes of cinnamon in their recipe. It was pretty reminiscent of the chili I grew up eating. I didn't leave an extra sammie for my husband. Oops. Apparently my pep talks are worthless. Pros: -Taste of the Chili -Notes of cinnamon -Soft buns -Mountains of cheese Cons: -My pep talks -My self control -The way the sammie looked Tip: If you're not a fan of hot dogs, get just a chili sammie. Looks aren't everything.

My family & I have been fans of Skyline Chili. since we moved to Columbus, OH in 1994. I'm sorry to say that after tonight's experience at the store located on Orion Dr. in Columbus/Westerville/Polaris, we Skyline Chili has lost customers of 30+ years. First of all we got there at about 8:00 pm with a group of 6. This was about 2 hours before store closing. After being told to sit anywhere, we waited almost 10 minutes before the two servers on the floor finished their conversation & finally looked over in our direction. Our server was polite & took our orders. Our grandson ordered French fries & we were told that their fryer was down (okay things like that happen), then two of us ordered iced tea. When the drinks were filled, we were told that there was only enough tea for 1 glass since it was close to closing time. (Okay so things run out). The final straw was when part of the table's order included 3 chillitos with cheese, which is my son's normal order. My son ate the 1st two without complaint. The third one was room temperature. My son asked if it could be reheated & we heard that cook tell our server that it couldn't be done because the cheese would melt, so they made another one. That one was cool to the touch (I'd call it room temperature). A manager came over & basically explained that was because the cheese had made it cold...keep in mind that this is my son's usual order, as I already mentioned. They offered to make another one, but cautioned us not expect it to be any warmer. My son told the manager that he would just take it home to reheat it since they were not able to do it. That same manager was the cashier who handled the transaction, then asked me how our dining experience had been! Yet never apologized because we weren't happy with our dinner! To sum it all up, the staff at this location didn't seem to want to be bothered with customers or customer satisfaction 2 hours before closing. Unfortunately this has soured us on every going back to any Skyline Chili restaurant again.

Everything is made fresh to order. The owner, Jordan, greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and gave us a rundown of the menu. We ordered four stacked burgers and one bacon-mushroom burger, onion rings, fries and all four dipping sauces, paid at the counter and sat down to wait for our food. We waited less than 10 minutes for Jordan to tell us our food was ready and dived in to enjoy a nice late lunch. One person thought the BBQ sauce was the best, three people thought the honey mustard was the best and one person thought the ranch was the best. There were two-four person round tops and two-two seaters, and then a diner bar with stools that probably sat 7-8 people. There were probably about eight dine-out pick ups as we sat there and he had a steady stream of people through the door in the thirty minutes we were there. On our way out, Jordan asked us to put a sticker on his wall map of the US to show that Norman, OK had dined at Stacked Burger. We all thought the food was great and appreciated the owner checking up on us and ensuring we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place.
