We came here for a family dinner and while it took a bit to get our table ready, they were able to seat our party of 8 for our Sunday night dinner reservation. Our server, Rayna, was truly a delight. She was so attentive and kept our drinks and orders coming with a smile and even made some great suggestions. We would definitely return and request to sit in her section because she was so great. She even brought out a special dessert for my sis-in-law and our daughter. What a memorable family dining experience we had!

Excellent service - and solid food, really deserves a 4.8 rating! Stopped in the Sat after Thanksgiving around 3 & we were immediately offered to sit in the bar (empty) or the dining room (almost empty). Excellent service all meal long - very attentive w out being overbearing & friendly! Warm bread to start, followed by excellent skins & 1 good beer! I had a full slab of ribs (couldn't even eat half) and they were good - but not great. Too much sauce and burnt on the ends (could eat the ends), very good beef barley and baked p. Others at the table had the cod which they really enjoyed & the calves liver was a real winner (barf) and that persons LOVED it! Lots of food for a very reasonable price. Would I go back - YES, but want to try the burger. It really deserves a 4 1/2 rating but I can't give that!

The dining experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with fantastic service and an enticing menu offering something for everyone. We indulged in a selection of three appetizers and expertly crafted cocktails, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. The baked goat cheese appetizer was a standout, earning unanimous praise from our party. We also got the stuffed mushrooms and the fried calamari. For entrees our party of 3 ordered the ribeye, oven roasted bbq chicken and the chicken and rib combo. The dry aged ribeye had a lot of flavor. The oven roasted chicken was delicious. The ribs were also phenomenal. The portions were incredibly generous, and we couldn't help but take home some delectable leftovers. I must say, the extra charge for the baked French onion soup was a wise choice, as it proved to be worth every penny. In summary, this restaurant's food and service left a lasting impression, and we departed with full stomachs and smiles on our faces. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. We will definitely dine here again.

Came during lunch hour during the week. We were sat immediately. Our waitress was very quick and the rest of the staff was very polite. Steak slider lunch special was very good.

Nice, large open dining space with some outdoor seating. We came here on a Father's Day so it was pretty busy. They do take reservations which I recommend. We started out with an order of saganaki. (Free if you download their app) Opaa! We decided on the prime rib, which was delicious. It's accompanied by choice of potato or rice plus soup or salad. Warm bread is brought out when you're seated. It did take longer than average to get the drinks we ordered. The staff were nice and professional, but a bit overwhelmed at our visit. The bread and water did satiate us until the arrival of the salads. The saganaki was done right and delicious. We'll be back.

Observing the other reviews, I'm not the only one talking about the credit card minimum price amount. Pros- food is decent but the prices are very high. Cons- transactions made with a card have a fee. I also understand businesses have to do this or they lose out. Usually $3-4 dollar minimum. This place charges $7 dollar minimum. So while I'm sitting there a lady wanted a candy bar. That's it and had her card but didn't want anything else. So she's out of a treat to eat while she watches her grandchildren play hockey. The amount of over charge on just a hotdog is robbery. I asked for a hotdog and how much they cost. $3.75. Not bad. Was thinking maybe to get a Chicago style instead and the majority of places that make them charge maybe1-2 dollars more. The worker behind the counter says $8 !!! They explain that it's because of all the toppings and all. $5 dollars more for a small amount of toppings that make the Chicago style dog?? Out of all the times I've came here for games, tournaments, etc. it makes sense why I see the majority of families with food from outside sources.

She brought the teas, a male worker brought out our food. Had to flag waitress down for refills which took 20 minutes to get. We got there at 6:30 so not super crowded. Finally got the refills and then the m.i.a happened. Into the night we flagged her down for another ice tea refill. Not everyone drinks alcohol. Never got it. The band now ended and we wanted to leave. Waitress no where to be found. I had to get up and get another waitress and manager to check us out. I told the manager she never came by us after food and about 15 minutes into the band set. We saw her behind the bar waiting on people. Bringing drinks to people but ignored us and would disappear. And yes we ordered no alcohol but our food bill was still $60. We had no luck with her, never got the 3rd ice tea refills. Her tip reflecting the terrible service. This is the story the previous 2x we had her and there were 6 of us at both so the bill was substantially more but we'd have to go to other waitresses for service. She's awful as a waitress. I was a bit underdressed since this was an unprepared dinner. The ambiance is a nicer steak house. I would say most wore business casual at least. The prices were fair for the portion we got. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance with dim, intimate lighting and a clean, modern presentation. It feels polished without being stiff, refined but still welcoming. Most importantly, it delivers where it counts, on the plate. We started with the lamb lollipops, cooked precisely to temperature and finished with crushed pistachios, pomegranate, and a rich demi-glace. Each bite delivered depth, brightness, and texture. The Dungeness crab croquettes were equally impressive, crispy on the outside with a delicate, herbaceous interior. Rich, but never heavy. The French onion soup is an experience in itself, served in a hollowed onion. Bold, deeply savory, and incredibly comforting. Service elevated the night even further. Our server, Karra, asked if we'd sharing and had the kitchen split our entrées into individual portions, a thoughtful touch. The steak arrived perfectly cooked, and exactly as ordered. We finished with the English sticky toffee pudding, warm, gooey, and unapologetically decadent. Montarra doesn't chase trends. It executes upscale dining with precision, care, and genuine hospitality. That is exactly why it stands out, and why I'll keep coming back. Go experience it for yourself.
