Bought Subaru from Jim's 5 months ago and been nothing but problems. $2100 in repairs so far & now found out I have cracked heads. Also, warped rotors, bad rear differential and leaky oil cooler gasket. Been to Jim's 2 times, at a cost, to replace a.c compressor (which had to be replaced by my mechanic 2 weeks later)and for radiator that blew apart. I'm making payments on car and can't drive it. It's going to cost me at least $4000 more to drop rebuilt engine in it and fix other issues. $6100 in repairs. Working on form for BBB and Attorney General. Was yelled at through closed office door by Scott and scolded by Patrick last time I was in this (business?). That is a negative 1 star read more

So I had a great experience here - mostly dealt with Felix but Pat was really good too. I don't know about the bad reviews, these guys at Jim's Auto Sales were just nice to work with, no high pressure. We found something that needed to be fixed on the Hyundai Santa Fe and they were wonderful, got it fixed right. If you are buying a used car you need to do your research, and check out EVERYTHING, I took it to my husband and my brother, both mechanics and Jim's was very responsive to what we found that needed tweaking. I will highly recommend Jim's to family and friends, I am totally happy with their service and my new (used) car! read more

This is how Felix El King talks about his customers on his Facebook page because he was given a bad review. When he didn't like what my son and I commented on it, to defend ourselves, he deleted our comments and blocked us!! We have proof that he committed fraud! It's been well over 2 months and they wouldn't let us terminate the warranty or GAP insurance on a piece of junk that isn't running so why would we need gap or warranty on it! Especially when we've been told already by the licensing dept, that they will void the contract because of the fraud that Felix El King committed! I had to contact the Attorney General's Office & Dept of Licensing (investigation Dept) to get help with this matter!! I suggest that all of you that have had problems with them to do the same!! I am not one to call out customer but this kid is beyond ingorent and when you are talking shit about my family or my company for decision you made for yourself it becomes a problem to me. We tried to telling him and We tried to help by buying back the deal, unwinding and switching it out for another vehicle. She even said this just might be an expensive lesson for him to learn... with repect we spoke with his mother and offered to help with discounts of repairing the vehicle even after 1 month of buying the car at our cost. we tried talking him out of purchasing an Audi and getting something more affordable. He begged us to get the finance done for hm.. he wanted to know if we can get his down payment lowered because everywhere else he was getting told he wasnt approved and/or to put down $3-5k down. all he had was $475... We got it done for him. now he cant afford repairs and now he and his friends want to bash us with bad reviews on our facebook page. We have not lied to our customers at all... All these bad reviews are coming from his family and friends from Quincy! Please do not pay anyattention to these clowns.. they dont even want to come to my office with whomever to talk about when and what has been done. He abviously is lying to his friends and family about us and doesn't want accept the fact that he made a stupid decision and now he cant afford the car that he so desperatly wanted.. says alot about him as a man. This is what I sent him a couple of hours before he posted that on his FB page: Sammy told me that you called him yesterday and told him that he and I and who ever else should go over there to discuss something with you guys. What do you guys have in mind? At this point, the only thing we are willing to discuss is you guys voiding the contract and returning the down payment and Payments that he has made on the car. We already contacted the Attorney General's Office and the Dept of Licensing (investigation Department) and the contract will be voided. I have been gathering everything I need and am ready to mail out to them today. Like I told you on the phone the last time we spoke, I would rather not have done that and not have to get an Attorney, which I was gonna do, but don't have to now, cause the dept of licensing and Atty general will be taking over once they receive our paperwork. Let me know if you guys are willing to void the contract and take the car back, otherwise I will put the paperwork in the mail today. I don't think we should waste each other's time by us traveling to Cashmere for a meeting, unless you are willing to take the car back. That is the only remedy that will be acceptable to us. I would prefer not to involve the Atty generals office as that would be detrimental to your business and prolong the situation for my son, but if that's the route we must take, we won't hesitate to do so. Bought myself a fun little moped. Price was extremely fair. Tod was awesome to work with, very friendly and professional. Paperwork process was smoothest I've ever experienced. Son also purchased his first car the day before. He was nervous and didn't know how things usually work. There was no haggling, no up-selling of protection plans, etc. Entire process was the best, easiest, and quickest I've ever experienced both dealer and private. Great deal on a great car! My brother and I both bought subarus there and shortly after buying the cars the check engine light came on... Mine after a couple of weeks and my brothers was the day after the sale... After I bought mine and it happened I thought I was just unlucky but when the same happened to my brother it seems a little strange...I don't know if he's resetting the codes and then selling the cars or what...I would just recommend that you take our mistakes as an example to get them checked out before you buy a car from there... I purchased a Subaru from this Dealership and had it shipped to my residence. The Vehicle arrived with non-OEM wheels, when the vehicle was clearly advertised in pictures and confirmed to me that the OEM Wheels were coming with the vehicle. I called the Dealership to discuss the situation and spoke with Pat... who told me verbatim, "Too F***ing bad, You Want Them? F***ing Pay to have them shipped, not my problem anymore F**ker." I was in recently to buy a Subaru at Jim's Auto Center and thought I was getting a great deal. As the saleswoman told me about the vehicle, I noticed she was stretching the truth about the vehicle (lying about the mileage, how the gps system was only included in the newer models), but not to the point where I would call her out for it. After a test drive I decided that this car would be a great fit for me! I filled out the paperwork inside and we came out to someone working under the hood of the car which I didn't think much about. I drove it off the lot and got about 4 miles down the highway before the check engine light, abs light, and oil temp light all came on and started flashing, which it hadn't done on the test drive. I pulled over on the side of the highway, incredibly disappointed, to give them a call. I was told over the phone "not to worry, this happens all the time." I brought the car back, they took it to the shop owned by the same family across the street, and assured me again that "everything was going to workout, this happens all the time". After multiple phone calls to the Subaru service center I was told by Jim's auto center that there was an issue with my transmission but it would be under an extended warranty. By this point I was rightfully concerned that I had only driven 4 miles and the transmission had gone out and asked for my money back. The lady helping me from before (I can't remember her name) was very vague and reluctant to provide me with any answer. She relentlessly offered different solutions to the problem which made me more and more unsettled about the business and vehicle I had purchased. I ended up calling the Subaru service center independently was told that they have far many more unhappy customers coming from Jim's Auto center than happy ones. He recommended that I get my money back and leave. Later on in the day, the Subaru service center called me to tell me that the extended warranty I had been promised by Jim's Auto center wasn't actually going to cover my car. I felt like I had been taken advantage of and the truth had been stretched multiple times in the process of them selling me the broken vehicle. I'm not an experienced car buyer and wanted to feel confident in the vehicle I was purchasing. There is absolutely no way I would recommend buying a car from Jim's Auto Center unless you plan on driving it problem free for less than 5 miles. read more

I went to Jim's to replace Bertha my van. It was really easy I was given different options for financing since I had bad credit. I was approved and got a good rate. I bought Bertha jr (my new van) and it has been great. My credit rating is climbing due to my car loan. I bought this car from Jim's 6 months ago. I can honestly say the old reviews were the reason I can to this place last and as a last resort. I have never been so happy as a mommy of three it was as hassle free as it could be. I bought a car from Jims auto sales in cashmere in April, the day I bought it I had to go to work and told the salesman that I got off at 6 and I could be there at 6:30 to pick up my car, he said that was fine and that he would be there. When I went to go get my car he wasn't there. The next day I went to get my car and he gave me some bullshit excuse why he wasn't there the night before. After a month of not hearing anything from him he called me and said that he had forgot to have me sign certain paperwork and that I didn't actually own the car yet, I was just driving around in a car still owned by the dealership for a month. I went in and signed the rest of the paperwork and he said that I now owned the car. My temporary license plate expired on June 1st and I went in 4 different times to get my plates and each time he had a different excuse as to why he didn't have them yet. On Friday I called him and he said he had them and I could come get them on Saturday. On Saturday I went in and shocker, he still didn't have them. He said that on Monday he would get them and bring them to my work for me. Again, shocker he didn't do that. So today my grandpa and I went there and he still hadn't picked them up from licensing. My grandpa had simply told him that he didn't think he was treating his customer right and he got in my 85 year old grandpa's face and started screaming at him that he didn't know anything and none of this was his fault. After my grandpa started screaming back that we were just going to leave and go straight to the court house and see what they thought about this he calmed down real fast and went and got my plates from licensing and apologized for not doing it sooner. My grandpa asked him who owned the car dealership and he said he did, which was a lie. Jim O'Brien owns the car dealership and the salesman was Patrick Canizal. THIS GUY IS A CON DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Pat told me my Subaru had a brand new turbo (turns out that was a lie). As soon as I drove off the lot my check engine light went on, which has also been reported in other reviews I see. I test drove it and during the test drive the Subaru had 5 rubber mats and the cargo cover. After I went inside to sign papers, THEY PULLED ALL OF THOSE OUT OF THE CAR. Sadly, I was so excited about my new purchase I did not notice the missing mats and cargo cover until I returned home. He also told me the Sube had a new timing belt (it did not). He said the car had a full inspection, and was in excellent condition. However, when I took it in to my mechanic, he said "I have never seen so much rust in a car, you need to get rid of this thing ASAP or you will pay much much more for repairs everytime you come in". Turns out he was right. Due to the rust issue, my car sat in penetrating oil for five days in the shop because they couldn't get the brakes/ rotors off. Every repair I need costs hundreds more in labor due to this. He is a liar and a thief. I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life. read more

what ever happened to customer service? We drove all the way to cashmere today to check out an F-250 diesel we found. Key question before we made the trip: smoker or non-smoker for previous owner, and does the truck smell inside? Answer: I don't smell anything, I'll have the other guys check too. Nope, no smells. Almost three hours in the car, we get there, I hop in and holy smoke smell. I open the ash tray and it's full of ashes. So we drive it anyway. I mean we came all this way... so we get done driving it, I'm not happy about the smell, but I was still on the fence about it. My husband crawls under to check it out. The owner, I think, of the aout place walks by and asks me, " how did it drive for you?" I said fine, but I can't take the smell. He turns to me and in a condescending tone says, " get a gas then!" Turns and is walking away, as I'm saying, " not the Diesel, but the smoke." He didn't even turn around, just walked into the office. My German blood started boiling. I wish there would have been reviews when I bought my Subaru from Jim's Auto sales. Within the first month, my check engine light came on and I had to put in $900 steering column. The next month my a/c went out. a month later, I had to have a $200 repair done to the hoses for the cooling system because they were cracking. Supposedly, my the timing belt got redone and I received a new water pump. Now, not even 8 months after owning my car, my water pump is leaking. They also supposedly rebuilt my engine and I am now needing a $675 lifter repair. I have had to put in over $2,000 in repairs for a car that was supposed to be in really good shape. They are nice at the dealership, but they sell junk and don't stand behind it. I would strongly recommend you find another place to get a car. Buyer be ware. read more
