When I returned in only 1 week my vehicle was completely finished, the bill was less than the estimate and they had included an oil change but it wasn't billed on the invoice. Their business is safe and secure on off hours and Josh's communication is clear, concise and friendly. My daughter currently had her vehicle at another shop in Cameron Park awaiting service but decided to have it towed to J and J because of how they treated me and my vehicle. I introduced myself on the phone he didn't bother to tell me his name. Instead busy gloating about how important he was and how experienced he was. I went down there and introduced myself in person he again didn't bother to introduce himself and walked right past me and out the door to look at the truck. The rest of the discussion was very confrontational and I am glad I didn't have to pay anything more than my wasted time.

He was courteous, very accommodating and took the time to take all my vehicle information to ensure he had the right elements to complete the job. He also gave me a quote and that was the price I paid when all was said and done. I arrived at the appointed time, within a minute, Ted was there to meet me in the parking lot with clipboard in hand, took control and an hour and a half later, the project was done. Everything was according to schedule. I couldn't have had a more pleasant and smooth transaction, from the initial phone call to when I drove off the parking lot. I appreciate that a lot. On Sunday, my 18-year-old Lhasa went to bed and then woke up at midnight with a tummy ache. By Tuesday morning, Otis was gone. Otis died of acute kidney failure at Goldorado Animal Hospital. He had just received a clean bill of health at Airport Pet Clinic in late March. I felt totally blind-sided. On Wednesday, I took Otis to Caring Pet Crematory in Sacramento. Both the hospital and this place were very kind, which meant a lot because I am new to the area. On Thursday, my car wouldn't start. The battery was fried. John was out of town on a work trip so I asked my neighbor for a jump start so I could get to O'Reilly's for a battery. I was shocked how expensive batteries were post-pandemic. Then I was given a list of mechanics to call to install it. I didn't know if they would do it or how much they would charge. Fortunately, Cameron Park Auto was first on my list. At first Debbie couldn't help me so I just went into auto pilot mode. You know, don't take it personally, don't burst into tears, just say thank you, hang up and go down the list. I was leaving a voicemail with another mechanic when Debbie called me back. Debbie said she talked with the mechanic and they found a way to help me. Later, Debbie told me she sensed something was wrong and knew I needed help. I bought the battery at O'Reilly's but before I could drive over to CPA, my car wouldn't start. O'Reilly's has jumper cables so I told Debbie I'll be over as soon as my car started. Debbie said, "Hold on." Next thing I know, Josh brought out a better battery and John installed it at O'Reilly's. I couldn't believe it! I don't know what Debbie said but it was so nice to feel like when your world is coming undone that there are nice people out there who care. After I got my car running, I drove over to CPA and thanked Debbie in person. I wanted her to know I REALLY appreciated her kindness. So, if you're looking for stellar humans - like Debbie, Josh, & John - they are out there! Thank you again!
