    Spicy Beef Noodle Soup

Food is excellent! Very affordable for the amount that you get. The boba is also very inexpensive for this area and is very yummy. Service is quick and accurate. Ambiance is also very nice and authentic :).

I grew up eating traditional Chinese food at home & in the restaurants of Chinatown in Philadelphia. I love the food and the selection of great Chinese dishes at Jin Chan in Boulder. The food is cooked to order, delicious, & authentic. It is a simple process of ordering at the counter then waiting at the table (not much seating but if it was full - my family & I would never leave to find a seat elsewhere, we would just order to go!) One of the best kitchens in Boulder!

Mapo Ma Po Tofu with Pork

One of the most authentic Chinese places I've ever gone! Stopped by with my parents who are from Sichuan, and they devoured the food. We all agreed it was very well flavored and reminded them of home. Service was very kind and rice also comes with each dish you order, which is something I really appreciated. Highly recommend!

    Orange Chicken Lunch

Having sampled a fair selection of food from here, I would say this might be the literal middle ground when it comes to Chinese food in Boulder. Half of the dishes are good, and half of them are not that great. Doesn't seem to be a big correlation to the time of day either, but we typically have ordered for lunch and delivery. To start, the appetizers and soups are very hit or miss and don't have a huge level of consistency. The wonton soup which tends to be my works goto favorite is either very strong in the flavor of black pepper, or like straight chicken broth kind of flavor. The wontons themselves are actually pretty good however being nice and big, but the broth needs some work. The Crab cheese wontons/rangoon is actually really good and you get a little cup of sweet n sour with your meals which is also a big plus for me. We have mostly narrowed down the really good dishes to the General's Chicken and Szechuan Chicken, with Orange Chicken coming in to a close second. One of my personal favorites which is the Cashew Chicken, and the Mongolian Beef are actually fairly unappetizing and bland. On another note leading to the hit or miss with this food is that the meat will either be very tender or like chewing on rubber. It's not overcooked its just the quality of the meat and how old it is makes it very fibrous and hard. Delivery we have never had any issues with them getting our orders right, or delivering things on time that has always been good. Also a pretty big fan of their rice which isn't ever overcooked and mushy. Its got a nice firmness to it like you'd find in sushi rice, and doesn't have that city water taste that sometimes likes to linger on some rice from other places. Overall this is a pretty middle ground place for Chinese, and there are certainly several more options available but if you don't want old lingering food from Panda Express, this is on the same level but made fresh for you.

    Sesame Chicken Lunch

I love the lunch special! Very good deal and super great food. I actually had take out for Christmas dinner from here, and it was amazing. The employees are nice and courteous, and I've never had an issue with my food. Food comes out fast and fresh! My favorite dish is the sesame chicken lunch special with two crab wontons, rice, and a cup of hot and sour soup! Keep up the good work! My boyfriend and I are big fans!

I love this place so much! I lived in both Sichuan and Chengdu, China for a while and couldn't find my favorites like Double-Cooked Pork Belly and Sichuan-Style Fried Green Beans at other "Americanized" restaurants- Jin Chan Zhang does these traditional Chinese dishes and many more! If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, this is the place to be.

Medium pho soup... very generous size!

This place is great. I really recommend the green beans with pork. I also liked the vibe inside.

The Szechuan beef was not spicy enough and the General Tso's chicken was somehow soggy. Overall it had good flavor.

The man who greeted us was very nice and accommodating. More people arrived as we sat, including a woman who, it turned out, was also going to the Festival. I was choosing between Shrimp with Vegetables on the Chinese menu and a Vietnamese Noodle Bowl with Chicken and Eggroll. I went with the Vietnamese Bowl. My friend got the same only with shrimp. Both were delicious! There is a mild spice on the grilled chicken and it seemed like it might be the same one on the shrimp. I tasted hers. Delectable. And both were tender. The eggroll was nice and crunchy. The noodles were good. I would have liked more vegetables, and we both asked for more sauce. Not sure why they don't give more to start with. At other restaurants, I've always been served with enough sauce from the beginning. But he brought more of it promptly when we asked. I could only eat about half of mine. Because it was room temperature to begin with, hopefully the leftovers are OK having sat in my car for hours! The decor was nice. Tile on both the floor and walls. My friend really liked the walls and told the gentleman that he'd made a good choice! It all looks clean and cared for. I will go back. Hope you go, too! There are several restaurants in the shopping center there at Baseline and Broadway. May Wah is in the southern section, facing north.

I didn't have any of the food, sadly I didn't want to try it…read more I'm working a job site right out front of this building. They have lunch specials, so your meal comes with rice (which I don't like) and an egg roll with soup. it doesn't come with the soup though unless you dine in? I asked if I could just substitute the soup for the rice and it was like their brains couldn't calculate that request. It was simple. I HAD to dine in for it. Anyway makes no sense I didn't eat there looked nice though.
