It had been a while since I went to Jingle Bao. Got there on a Saturday afternoon but it was pretty empty so got a table right away. They have such a big menu with a lot of variety of items - not just baos but also noodles and bowls. We got their 7 signature baos which had all different fillings - shrimp, pork, chicken, mushroom, beef, etc. it was pretty good! Our favourite was their chocolate bao!! The filling was decedent!!! Good spot for a quick lunch if you're by Stanley park.

A one star because Yelp said they are open but the door said they are closed on Mondays. Paid $7 for parking and didn't get to eat here. Not good...

Must-visit brunch spot with a delicious and affordable menu. They serve some some all-day breakfast classics, lunch sandwiches, and also have a selection of house-baked goods. I would recommend the savory breakfast bowl (regardless of it being breakfast time), as well as giving one of the butter tarts a try. The place can get busy and may have a wait during rush brunch & lunch hours.

Once of the best sample bao's I've ever had. The Magnificent Seven was incredible - (Classic, Spinach/Cheese, Spicy, Curry, Truffle, Shrimp, Garlic). I honestly can't decide on a favorite because they were all good. Each bite made me want more. The mushroom truffle dumplings were also really good. Lots of flavor, easy to bite and strong wrapper. I don't normally order vegetarian meals, but this I would order again 100%. My only regret is not ordering more. The vegetables XLB's, for me it's a hard pass. I would skip those. Although it was finished, both my tablemate and I agreed that this was not good at all. I also ordered the oversized Lobster colorful soup dumpling. Personally, i think this is more of an attraction than it is a menu item. It was fun idea to use a straw to drink the soup, but this got messy quick. The soup was really rich, the filling was tasty the wrapper was colorful, but because of the size you can't eat it like a normal XLB. Make sure you poke the very top, drink the soup before you open it up to get the filling inside. Or I'm sure you could be adventurous and pick it up. Although I'm not sure how well that would hold up. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my meal. It was a fun experience and I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

Parking: street parking. Restroom: gender neutral restroom Seating: indoor Hours: open at 11am We ordered: Supersize pork Xiao Long bao - flat and sticky bao, hardly any meat. Signature magnificent seven Xiao Long bao - very sticky skin, not good. Flavor just ok. Flat Xiao Long bao, barely any meat Chocolate Xiao Long bao - has mochi inside. Some of the chocolate inside Not melted. Outside skin too sticky Mixed vegetable quartet w rice - nice flavour. It has potato, bell pepper, eggplant and onion Salt pepper taiwanese popcorn chicken appetizers- good flavour, wish more pepper Crispy snowflake dumping- no flavor, too oily. Service is ok. Food comes out very slow. A lot of waiting game. It is a one time try only.

We were vacationing in Vancouver and heard the dim sum was amazing here. We came across this place on yelp and the colorful dumplings caught my eye. I have two small kids and thought they'd find it fun. Wow what a wonderful experience! The service first of all was great and on top of that the food was soo delicious. We got really lucky on the first choice. The kids got cotton candy at the end and they did a fun tea show which the kids got a kick of. I'd definitely come here if your in town, I know I'll be returning when I visit again:)

During a long weekend trip to Vancouver, my wife and I tried Jingle Bao because we were in the mood for some dumplings. We arrived when the restaurant opened, and we were the only guests in the restaurant for the first 10-15 minutes. We ordered the platter, and some extra steamed dumplings on the side. Over all the food was good. The dumplings from the steamer were delicous. The food on the platter was great, except the dumplings. The dumplings from the platter was already starting to dry out when it arrived at our table. I think the platter is a nice concept, but I'd rather have freshly steamed dumplings straight from the bamboo steamer. I think they have to steam the dumplings then it takes time to assemble it on the platter, so by the time it gets to the table, it's already cooled down.

One of the most beautiful soup dumplings I've seen so far. Not only beautiful but also delicious and so creative with different flavour. My favorite one is the red soup dumplings, just like slurping a whole spoon spicy hotpot soup in your mouth. Pack of deliciousness! The only challenge is the parking, you have to park couple blocks away during rush hours.

Overall: A+ // 6 stars A cozy restaurant that checks all the boxes for me; their food is consistently innovative, high quality, while also emphasizing the aesthetic and quite competitively priced. The staff are also friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend this place; can't wait to return to try the rest of their menu! (Magnificent Seven Soup Dumplings: S) - A set of xiaolongbao that is as tasty as it is beautiful. Compared to other conceptions, I enjoyed their forward and innovative flavor approach, such as the curry xlb that is a flavor bomb of spice without being too overpowering. My other favorites were the chili oil and truffle which also had noticeably distinct notes. (Pan Fried Dumplings: A+) - One of the most elegant dumplings I've seen from the lattice to the floral garnish. The dumplings are juicy, tender, with a slight crisp, and pair well with the soy and spicy mayo. Sampler! The dumplings were the best ever! The broth is so good. The sesame buns were amazing too!

Easily the best soup dumplings I've had! The service was great, they even accommodated my wife's dietary restrictions for seafood only. All the food was just beautifully presented with a matching flavor. Edit: the chef did an amazing sugar art presentation. I have no words for how beautiful and artistic it was. Hopefully you witness this feat of sugar work.

After all the social media hype- decided to give it a go! The restaurant gives a very hole in the wall type vibe, our server was friendly and it was fun being seated next to the counter and watch the dumplings being made to order. It started out strong, but definitely didn't end in the best note. Truffle pork xlb was delicious! It was filled with extremely flavorful broth and the pork was light. The wrapper is on the thicker side, but cooked through. Har gaw was a bit over cooked. The wrapper was almost mushy rather than that al dente chew. There was no shortage on the filling though! The normal sized XLB was good! Although the top part of the wrapper/dough was a little on the underdone side. The soup was just as flavorful as the truffle and the pork filling was just right. Now for the giant XLB. It was so full of soup. I was so excited to just poke it with the straw... but upon my first sip. The broth was BARELY warm and the pork was still raw!!! I was so bummed because I was able to watch the giant meat ball and tucked into the wrapper. Would I suggest to hit this place up for dumplings? Yes. I would just skip the XL XLB.

The flavors in this place were pretty good. The assorted xiao long bao was executed well. The stir fried noodles had good flavor but I thought it was interesting to use fried noodles to be stir fried

There are fish tanks with live fish and lobsters floating around, and ordering is done the old-school way on a paper slip where you mark the quantity you want. The shui mai, har gow, and char siu bao were all much larger than I expected, so my friends and I played it safe and still ended up with way too much food. Not a bad problem to have, but definitely come hungry. The service was also better than what I've experienced at a lot of dim sum places, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable. Solid traditional dim sum with generous portions and a nice hustle.

I love eggplant, especially the stuffed ones. The sauce paired very well and was simply satisfying. Mushroom Noodles: This was honestly a hot mess and hot miss. 5 Stars - Excellent Chinese Seafood in Vancouver…read more Dynasty Seafood Restaurant 108-777 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4J7, Canada Visited: August 18, 2026 On a recent trip to Vancouver, I dined here for the first time with several colleagues of mine from Southern California, and we had an excellent experience. This was a spur-of-the-moment find. We didn't have reservations, so we did a quick Google search for a good Chinese restaurant in the area, and Dynasty Seafood Restaurant came highly recommended. When we arrived, the restaurant was very busy and absolutely hustling and bustling. Fortunately, despite not having a reservation, our party of five only waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. We decided to order family style and share everything. Our order included: * Hot & Sour Seafood Soup - $36.99 * Pineapple Sweet & Sour Pork - $44.99 * Prawns & Scallops with Wine - $49.99 * Noodles with Soy Sauce - $32.99 * 5 Tsing Tao beers - $42.50 * 3 orders of Rice - $12.60 Subtotal: $220.06 CAD GST: $11.00 Liquor Tax: $4.25 Total: $235.31 CAD Everything we ordered was very good, but the sweet and sour pork was outstanding. I honestly would have been perfectly happy having an entire order of that as my meal. It was easily one of my favorite dishes of the evening. The hot and sour seafood soup was another highlight. It was loaded with seafood, including chunks of lobster, scallops, and shrimp, and had excellent flavor. I would definitely order that again as well. The prawns and scallops and the noodle dish were also very good, and sharing everything family style gave us a chance to try a nice variety. The service was very good and attentive throughout the meal, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. The restaurant itself was very clean and had more of an upscale atmosphere, yet I thought the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. This turned out to be a great spur-of-the-moment choice. Five stars from me, and if I'm ever back in this part of Vancouver, I would definitely return to Dynasty Seafood Restaurant.
