Food was amazing. Had the matcha lemonade and spicy tofu vegan Ramen. It did not disappoint. Our server Janssen Dean took really good care of us and has good recommendations on what to get.

I have never had Ramen before. Yes -I am in LA native ,and I know that seems crazy. This is a chain restaurant .The Studio City is purely walk-ins and takes no reservations. I don't go anywhere on a Friday night without a reservation. The one in Toluca Lake takes reservations. Cameron answered the phone. He was delightful and helpful, made it very simple to book a reservation. We finally arrived, parking was rough on a Friday night there due to the Bob's Big Boy car show that is every Friday so don't go on a Friday! Bottom line, the spicy chicken Ramen, and the chicken Ramen were very good. The outdoor patio has a nice ambience, and once again the same host who answered the phone, Cameron and all of the waiters had great customer service and were very delightful. We'll be going again!

The outside patio is such a vibe. By far my favorite Jinya location. Started with miso eggplant (def recommend), fries, and pork bao. I tried the Birria ramen and it just wasn't my favorite. Service was great & quick.

    A.I. Artwork

Been coming here for years. Used to love the place. Last time I went, though, I noticed they have started to use A.I. artwork in their marketing and on their menu. It's blatantly disrespectful and CHEAP! And coincidentally, the day we discovered the A.I. artwork, the food was SO bad. It was WATERED DOWN NASTY trash. Ramen was so bland, tasted like a kitchen sink. And their curry? Boxed curry by Golden Curry is a million times better. The A.I. was a sign they are cutting corners, and we are paying the price.

Quick and incredibly friendly service, warm outdoor area with heating, and yummy food. Perfect. Our server was amazing. The food was delicious. Stunning. Will be back.

Don't what all the gate is about...Jinya Ramen Bar serves up a killer bowl of noodles. This location is beautiful with a super comfortable outside patio that's great for meeting friends or an intimate date night. And the staff is always awesome!! So drop the hate, embrace the love, and get slurping. Great noodles are just a short stop away!!

We were seated right away. The view was nice & the pit fire was cute. The food didn't take long to arrive & the appetizers were really good. The chicken bites were tasty, crunchy outside & a really soft inside. The ramen was a lot of food & a lot of flavor which was amazing. Definitely hit the spot for a semi chilly day. I definitely recommend coming to this location.

This was my second visit to this particular Jinya Ramen and it did not disappoint! The chicken ramen was amazing during my first visit and this time I had the chicken chashu bowl which was delicious! Service has always been great but parking can be a pain. It seems like it's all outdoor seating which is nice since they have a nice fire pit and heat lamps to keep you nice and warm.

JINYA is hands down my go-to spot for ramen in LA -- and honestly, probably the best ramen I've had so far in the city. Every time I come here, the experience is consistently amazing, which is why I'm honestly surprised to see so many low rated reviews. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and makes sure everything is just right. The ramen itself? Absolutely incredible -- rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and a lot of variety to suit whatever I'm craving. One of my favorite things about JINYA is how customizable everything is -- I can tweak the ramen exactly how I want it, which a lot of other places don't usually allow. They also have a great selection of appetizers. The crispy rice with spicy tuna and the gyoza are my absolute favorites so far -- both are must-tries if you're visiting! Plus, the vibe is great. I love the outdoor fire pit -- it's such a cozy and inviting touch, especially on cooler nights. Overall, JINYA never disappoints. If you're a ramen lover looking for quality, flavor, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely the spot.

A combo add-on- salad, Pork Chashu Bowl*

Pretty delicious ramen. Soup was very tasty, accompaniments all good, egg was prepared perfectly done. Added in a combo pork & rice, plus salad- also good and would get it again. Loved the sauces on the table! Enjoyed the "J Girl" mocktail. Patio seating was pleasant, not overly crowded. Heard that service can be stellar, though at least on our afternoon-- it was ok---definitely not friendly or warm. Just kind of dead and lifeless. Delicious food. A bit pricey.

Great ramen spot in Burbank! I have been to a few Jinya locations before and was excited that this one was near by! Met a friend for lunch and had to find street parking. Luckily it wasn't too busy yet around 12:30 on a Sunday. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. We sat outside and it was nice. Food came out quickly - I got the Tonkatsu Ramen and got extra noodles for my daughter. Didn't know they had kids meals that came with fries, rice, karage chicken, ramen and ice cream! My friend got that for his son and was nice enough to share. He also got the Shio ramen, gotta try that next time!

Friendly and attentive staff! Clean atmosphere. Everything tasted great. Graham was an excellent server and I felt well taken care of. Will be back!

    Chicken Spicy Ramen

JINYA Ramen Bar First and foremost, Jansen deserves a huge shoutout. GIVE THAT QUEEN A RAISE. He is hands-down one of the best hosts I've ever experienced. From the moment we walked in, he was warm, welcoming, genuinely kind, and incredibly attentive. He made us feel comfortable right away, checked in thoughtfully, and set the tone for an amazing dining experience. You can tell he truly cares about guests, and that kind of service makes a huge difference. Now let's talk about the food because JINYA absolutely delivers. I've been to over a dozen ramen spots throughout LA, and this is easily in my top 5 for chicken ramen. I love that they offer a chicken-based broth and chicken ramen, which isn't always easy to find, and the flavor is rich, comforting, and perfectly spicy without being overpowering. ( I did ask for chilli oil) for a more of a kick. If you go, I highly recommend choosing the thicker noodles (personal preference). They hold the broth beautifully and give the ramen an extra satisfying bite. Amazing ramen, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere all around. Thanks to Jansen and the team, this was an experience I'll definitely be coming back for

Ask the Community - JINYA Ramen Bar - Burbank

    Parking lot or street parking?

I've heard that parking can be tough, so when we went, we took a Lyft. Good luck!

Why can I not call - are you disconnected from your phone lines?

    Do they have Apple Pay?

Bo, they don't. Cash or CC.

    Any gluten free options?

They don't have gluten free noodles, but I had the vegan ramen with rice on the side and that was actually very good!

Can I ask for extra noodles?

For a small change they give you second serving.

Is there MSG used in the ramen?

    Yes.

Echoing what everyone else has been saying - the service is SO slow. It was about 45 minutes before we were able to order our second drink and our water glasses were empty. They have so many runners bringing the drinks out but only a few servers and, from the looks of it, one bartender (on a Saturday night - what?!). The server was saying he was trying to find a manager to help out but they were nowhere to be found. Clearly management is fine with these service times since they're still making $$$. The drinks were delicious, and I loved that there were heaters on the patio (though they did get very hot at times). Our server was so kind and brought us a celebratory drink. I do wish there were more explanations with the beverages, especially for the Paid Vacation as most people will not realize you're supposed to bite into the buzz button for the tingly sensation. I would come back, but need some time for my wallet to recover first, haha!

The chicken was a little dry and the seasoning on it just tasted spicy to be spicy. No real flavor. The cucumber and slaw also did not help with the bland taste. I had passed by this restaurant before but had never been curious enough to actually stop in. This time their drink menu advertised outside caught my attention so I figured "hey, why not?" From the moment I walked in i was trying to figure out whether I liked the atmosphere or not. The music was excellent, but the décor took me a second to process. It felt like an 80s lounge crashed into a neon Día de los Muertos inspired art gallery. It's most definitely not a quiet, cozy restaurant. It has more of a loud, colorful, party style personality. I was seated promptly by a kind hostess but I wasn't attended to by a waiter for nearly 10 minutes. Once my waiter did come by he was kind, quick, and professional. Now, I'm going to be honest.. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican restaurant food, so I didn't have the highest expectations. I ordered the potato taquitos, a Jarrito Loco made with watermelon purée, vodka instead of tequila, and chamoy on the rim, plus chiles toreados and one carne asada taco. Laugh all you want, but I was half expecting the food to come out looking like a cafeteria lady had splattered it onto a plate... I was genuinely impressed by the presentation instead. The potato "taquitos" were bigger than I expected so don't let the "itos" fool you. They were crispy, flavorful, filling, and honestly so delicious. Those get a 5/5 from me. My drink was also incredible. It was refreshing, especially with how hot the day was, and had just the right amount of alcohol. The presentation was so cute I almost felt bad ruining it. Easily one of the best drinks I've had in the Burbank area -- 5/5. The carne asada taco wasn't as impressive as the potato taquitos, so I'd give that a 3/5. The chile toreado was definitely spicy, it just needed to be salted a little more but otherwise no complaints! I need to remind myself not to be too quick to judge because I was genuinely surprised by this place. The décor wasn't fully my personal style, but the food and drinks more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back again, especially for the potato taquitos and drinks.

We were gone for less than 7 minutes, and when we returned, our entire table had been cleared and our food was gone. The staff did offer to remake our meals, which we appreciated, but by that point the experience had already been ruined. We felt frustrated because we had clearly communicated that we were coming right back. Instead of waiting for the food to be remade, we decided to leave. Mistakes happen, but this situation could have easily been avoided with better communication and attention to the customer's request.
