    Everything Protein bowl without beans
    Juliet B.

Stopped by for lunch this afternoon. It wasn't my first time here but it had been a while. I ordered at the kiosk, which was convenient and easy. The everything protein bowl was delicious and very filling. I love how they have the calories listed under each dish on the menu. They have healthy options too. Everything tasted fresh. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. Restrooms were clean and stocked as well.

Food was delicious! The salmon protein bowl is incredible and comes with a good amount of fish!! Service is great team members are very helpful and check in on you! Sweet potato fries are crispy and paired with a delicious sauce that has a slight kick! Ambiance is great really clean place to enjoy some fish ! 10/10

Ya girl has been obsessed with California Fish Grill lately and when in Burbank to see Halloween lights, I hit the Burbank CFG up! I'm happy to report this location upholds all the same standards as the others, with a big ol' parking lot to boot! I love parking lots in LA! lol I love their new wild rockfish! I got that on this visit with some delish but not overpowering teriyaki sauce. Then a plump shrimp skewer with their garlic butter sauce mixed with cajun sauce on top. Deliciously divine, y'all! I swear that garlic butter sauce is the bomb. I dream about it. It's like dessert in sauce form. Everything at CFG is always so fresh, great portion sizes and truly delicious flavors. It never disappoints for a healthy meal that doesn't break the bank!

Three pieces, fish and chips, KALESLAW

We had low expectations for this restaurant. But we were pleasantly surprised. All of the food was fresh and delicious. Portion sizes were generous. The fish and chips were a really good deal. We got the one with three pieces of fish and they were very large. We really liked the grilled flavor on the shrimp trio. And the garlic butter sauce is absolutely amazing, as everybody says. The coconut shrimp was crunchy and flavorful. It came with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even when I asked if the asparagus was decent, haha! I don't think it's quite worth the extra charge for asparagus, since they only give you three spears. But it was nice asparagus! Fries were really good. They had old Bay seasoning and rich potato flavor. Sweet potato fries were also really good. They seem to be thicker cut and the ones at other restaurants. they come packaged in a cleverly designed container with ventilation to keep it from getting soggy and a spot on the lid for the sauce. DH got the Branzino with brown rice and plain zucchini. All of the items were fresh and tasty. The rice and the fish and chips were a bit saltier than expected, but the grilled zucchini helped to offset this. The restaurant itself is clean and there is plenty of seating inside. It was very busy on a Saturday night for dinner. Which is always a good sign! It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out and everything was hot. The employee packaging the food checked over the order very carefully to make sure it was perfect. If you're looking for tasty seafood at a reasonable price, give this place a try.

Kiosk ordering is available. Ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl. I had a bowl recently but I cannot remember which one. Their chips and salsa is delicious. Service is quick and it's a clean and quiet eating space. They have lobster rolls now too. Lots of vegetarian options.

I hadn't been to this location in a while, but I'd been seriously craving California Fish Grill, so I decided to swing by on my way home from work. I went with the Miso Salmon Bowl, which was packed with flavor. It was Grilled Salmon, Miso Slaw, spicy Quinoa-Edamame Rice, Red & Green Onion, Tomato, Black Sesame Seeds, and their Citrus Miso Sauce. I love when they have the Miso sauce available as it ties everything together so well. I also got to try a couple of new components that I hadn't seen before. The Kale Miso Slaw was a standout: a modern twist with chopped kale and cabbage tossed in a super flavorful dressing that gave a nice fresh crunch. The Quinoa-Edamame Rice was another great surprise. It was white rice mixed with quinoa and edamame, seasoned with poke sauce. It had a great texture and added a bit more substance to the bowl. For a Saturday evening around 5pm, it was fairly busy, but I had no trouble finding a seat and my food came out pretty quickly. The staff was friendly and efficient, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely worth the stop. I'll be back again soon!

I would really say it's more of 3.5 mostly for friendly service, price point, and wait time for the food. My boyfriend loves his sandwich and fries but my food was ok. The shrimp could've been cooked longer and I feel like the garlic sauce was slapped on. The rice and zucchini were pretty good but I would not order it again. The waiters were really nice and checked on us after we got our food. The strawberry mint drink they have is good but k wish it had a bit more mint taste. The restaurant itself is cute and clean, decent amount of seating inside but there's also outdoor season. Overall a good place and I would definitely go back and try something else.

The strawberry lemonade was sweet and juicy. Inside the restaurant, there are several seats and tables with lots of colorful scenes painted on the walls. It's very clean and the best part is it offers great shade from the hot sun. There's a small parking lot next to the building, which is certainly convenient. The ambiance is reminiscent of an 80s fast food restaurant, with fixed tables and bench seating. Although it was lunchtime, there were plenty of tables and chairs for us to choose from. I had seen photos online of their asada burrito, and I was so excited to try it! It looked amazing. I added the chile relleno burrito on the recommendation of the woman who took our order, which also looked fantastic. Well, for starters ... the burritos didn't look like that in real life. The prices are pretty high for what you get. Our burritos were missing the "free guac" that they tout, which was disappointing. And unfortunately, the quality of the meat was pretty mediocre - our steak was largely chewy and there were large pieces of gristle and/or fat, which made for an unpleasant bite. Flavor-wise it fell flat, too. The carne asada burrito and the chile relleno burritos were pretty bland - and they shouldn't be! Mexican food is known for its flavor! Sigh. Finally, the burritos were poorly wrapped and tore almost immediately, falling to the plate and necessitating a spoon or fork, which defeats the purpose of a burrito. Service is somewhat slow, so you would think they had plenty of time to season the food and properly wrap it. I'm not sure what happened, but I doubt I'd return. Bummer. I **really** wanted to like it.

I had passed by this restaurant before but had never been curious enough to actually stop in. This time their drink menu advertised outside caught my attention so I figured "hey, why not?" From the moment I walked in i was trying to figure out whether I liked the atmosphere or not. The music was excellent, but the décor took me a second to process. It felt like an 80s lounge crashed into a neon Día de los Muertos inspired art gallery. It's most definitely not a quiet, cozy restaurant. It has more of a loud, colorful, party style personality. I was seated promptly by a kind hostess but I wasn't attended to by a waiter for nearly 10 minutes. Once my waiter did come by he was kind, quick, and professional. Now, I'm going to be honest.. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican restaurant food, so I didn't have the highest expectations. I ordered the potato taquitos, a Jarrito Loco made with watermelon purée, vodka instead of tequila, and chamoy on the rim, plus chiles toreados and one carne asada taco. Laugh all you want, but I was half expecting the food to come out looking like a cafeteria lady had splattered it onto a plate... I was genuinely impressed by the presentation instead. The potato "taquitos" were bigger than I expected so don't let the "itos" fool you. They were crispy, flavorful, filling, and honestly so delicious. Those get a 5/5 from me. My drink was also incredible. It was refreshing, especially with how hot the day was, and had just the right amount of alcohol. The presentation was so cute I almost felt bad ruining it. Easily one of the best drinks I've had in the Burbank area -- 5/5. The carne asada taco wasn't as impressive as the potato taquitos, so I'd give that a 3/5. The chile toreado was definitely spicy, it just needed to be salted a little more but otherwise no complaints! I need to remind myself not to be too quick to judge because I was genuinely surprised by this place. The décor wasn't fully my personal style, but the food and drinks more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back again, especially for the potato taquitos and drinks.
