We came here for lunch for AYCE sushi. There is a good variety of things to eat~ especially on the appetizer menu. We came around noon and were instantly seated. Whenever we ordered, food came out pretty quickly so we always had food for our table. Service was great and everyone was very attentive and kind. Food wise~ I guess it's what you'd expect from AYCE? lol! The quality is what it is, not the best but not the worst. I'd honestly give the sushi quality a 3, the appetizers a 4, and service a 5. Parking is plentiful! You can do paid street parking out front or do one of the many free lots off the street.

Wow, I LOVED! Absolute new favorite... everything - the food, the service, the atmosphere - INCREDIBLE! The food was soooo good, tried many things.. sashimi, sushi, rolls and all were so tasty. The girl who was my server was so pleasant! Overall, this place is a 10/10 and I would recommend for absolutely any occasion.

AYCE was good! Lots of options to pick from -- rolls, nigiri, apps, ramen and more. We did the regular AYCE since we were heading back to The Valley after eating, and we left very full and satisfied. Side note for families: no big strollers inside. They'll ask you to leave it in the waiting area if your car seat/stroller is too large.

Really yummy all you can eat sushi. The premium package is worth the price. Sushi was great, rolls were great and so many appetizers to choose from. Kids under 2 eat free. Family friendly spot

This is scallop Popcorn, there were exactly 3 , lol

Let me start by saying that it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant, and overall it was just okay. They serve small portions, which I didn't mind, but the customer service was disappointing, and the sushi wasn't very good.

It maybe my favorite AYCE sushi place in the valley. I've tried some other restaurants but this one still takes the cake. There's a few other location throughout the area that I've been too. Northridge is smaller but has a good parking lot. Pasadena is nice but parking is street parking. I'm not sure if there's a lot for that as we alway parked along the street. And we always utilize the sushi bar counter there. And then there's Burbank, street parking if available but there's a few parking structure all nearby. This location is bigger which is a plus. There's two option with AYCE. Premium and regular. I've done both but we just normally stick to regular. Same options except for a few other specialties items. You have a sheet with everything that you just mark off. Literally so much things to choose from. The starters, rolls, sashimi, nigiri's, ramen and so on. Of course, you don't want to get full with starters. Oh, the whole table has to do AYCE. It's a definite on the steamed mussels. The way it's prepared, it's delicious. I would get the sausages every now and then. Simple but tasty and served with ketchup. Shishitos peppers are tasty and an easy eat. Stuffed poppers were good but didn't want to fill up on starters. Mains or sushi is what we came for. All nigiri are per piece when ordering. The fish are all fresh and decent size. Some places it's a sliver of fish on top a massive slab of rice. Portion ratio was great. Literally every sushi piece was excellent. There's a reason why they give you rounds to orders as everything comes out pretty fast...lol.... Trying to consume each dish before the other arrives was a laugh... Plus everything was fresh and made to order. I alway get the salmon collar as yellowtail tends to alway be limited. Which this visit, they had one available. Both are great and a good potion of meat with the ponzu sauce. Besides the sushi, there's the kind that's has no rice. It's a must try. I never order rolls as I rather have nigiri. Everything was delicious and flavorful. For the price it's well worth it. Both premium or regular, you can't go wrong. Fish was fresh and everything was made to order. Service was great and all the staffs were friendly. Until the next sushi fix...

Delicious with an extensive menu. We did AYCE and because the quality of fish was excellent, it was definitely worth it!! Our favs: - Seared Salmon Roll - Seared Salmon! (and other seared nigiris) - Hamachi kama - Seaweed Salad - Salmon Tama

Love the vibes at this place. It's a chilly February evening so my daughter felt like Ramen. Sounds good to me. We both ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, I wanted mine "Spicy". Our server asked me to choose a number between 1-10 in spicyness....I chose a "3." I kinda regretted that it wasn't higher as soon as he walked off. The Ramen + appetizer was only $5 more, so we ordered our appetizers, a dish of edamame and the Baked Mussels. Dear Lord. Our Ramens came and my Spicy Ramen "3" felt like a 5/6! Imagine if I ordered a 5. I got use to it, but it was spicier than I expected. Though it was darn good!!! Therapeutic, actually. My daughter ordered the Strawberry Macaroon and I had the green tea ice cream. Both were delicious! The macaroon was Ah-Mazing! Great place to chill, eat delicious Ramen and dessert, and watch the big screens.

Place is pretty good. Accommodated to our party of 20+ pretty well. Was disappointed that the gyudon wasn't included in the regular tho, but servers did give me an option to just order it à la carte if I wanted. Despite that, they had enough choices for the no sushi eaters. Plenty of seating but can be cramped.

Great food and service! Always fresh. I've been coming here almost every other month now.

Aikan continues to impress. The food quality is consistently fresh and high-end--especially the fish, which is always pristine and flavorful. Every item we've tried from the no-rice series and the sashimi series has been excellent, with clean, vibrant flavors that really let the freshness of the fish shine. The kama is a must-order appetizer: perfectly grilled, tender and rich, paired with a tangy sauce that balances everything beautifully. On top of the food, the Burbank location (compared to Pasadena and Artesia) is a big win--plenty of parking and a spacious, comfortable interior make the whole experience even better. Always a reliable spot for quality sushi and sashimi.

I've tried sushi in many places, and unfortunately this one was disappointing. It seems like their focus is mainly on the all-you-can-eat option. I didn't choose that and ordered regular sushi instead, but the portions were very small, and the salmon pieces were minimal as well. Service was good. I like cafe inside, cozy and stylish. The miso soup was also lacking -- barely any tofu or seaweed. Overall, it didn't feel worth it unless you go for the all-you-can-eat option.

Yes, you could also order ala cart. There's also happy hour for drinks. Idk the specific times though. Hope this helps :)

As of June, 2025, Do they offer AYCE. If yes, how much is the cost for Lunch and dinner?

Yes they still offer AYCE for lunch and dinner. Not sure the lunch price but there's two prices for dinner, one regular and the other is premium, which I believe is about $49. However their price changes so best to call and confirm.

Does this location have a veggie ramen option like the one in Pasadena? It says they have the same menu online but I don't see a veggie ramen on the online menu?

There’s a big garage just around the corner, super easy to get in and out. You’ll have no issues.

We walked in, and it took about a minute until someone noticed and seated us. I told my friend that their Garlic Truff Ramen is pretty good, as I had tried it just a week ago from the Mission Hills location. We both ordered it and also order the Creamy Broccolini as an Appetizer. The Broccolini was absolutely delectable. Who would have thought such a simple dish would be soo good. The sesame dressing on it complimented the slight cook/char on the broccolini and we loved it. We rated this a 10/10, and we will be trying to make this at home from now on. Then we got our ramen. We both asked for pork as our protein, so we got the exactly same thing. The ramen did not take too long to come out, which was perfect because we were hungry. The smell of the truffle was definitely stronger than the actual taste of it. In fact, I actually think the one I ordered from their Mission Hills location actually had more of the truffle flavor, which made me enjoy it more. Also different from the Mission Hills location was their use of greens. Burbank's ramen came with kale, while MH's came with spinach. The pork was cooked well, and the egg was just right as well, though my friend mentioned that the egg could have been marinated just a tad bit longer for more flavor. We rated our bowls an 8/10. The service we got was fairly good, but we did encounter a booboo when we found a little fly in my friend's drink. They changed it immediately when we asked, so it was remedied fairly quickly. There are a lot of options to eat around this area, but if you do want ramen, this is one of the spots you should definitely visit. Cheers & Happy Eats! XOXO

We ordered the crunchy sushi roll, the spicy Totonsku and edamame . The food was delicious!!! We never been here before and didn't know what to expect . Edamame was warm and snappy . Crunch roll was on the bigger side, exactly what you expect of shrimp tempura and imitation crab . Lastly the soup , very very spicy . We asked the waitress for about 6-7 of spicy and I think we got like 9. I am not complaining I though, I think we needed the heat . We had to eat the soup with the edamame simultaneously: it was that hot . If you like spicy order the spicy tontonsku, and also order a Pinot Grigio to go with it. Best combination ever , the brightness of the wine would cool down my palate as a gulped the fire water from the soup . If you don't like spicy , make sure you tell them you want it less spicy . Overall : I'm intrigued and want to go back . I did not give it 5 starts because it was very quiet , there was no music ; we can hear the food being made in the kitchen. Which to me it's not a problem, but having some nice melodic tunes wouldn't hurt the ambience neither. Come to Tamashii House if you dare !

Susuru Ramen Bar is a real neighborhood spot for ramen, and worth the walk and the drive! The Chicken Karaage is the perfect blend of moist and crispiness, and didn't feel heavy or oily. Some places serve chicken karaage over-breaded or drenched in oil, but not Susuru! The Mayu Ramen is really where it's at though. This pork-broth base ramen with black garlic oil surprisingly uses egg noodles, so it's a richer, different taste that certainly stands out. At the same time, no singular taste overwhelms the rest of the dish, and everything from the seasoned soft boiled egg to the perfectly charred chiashu work together in one harmonious feast. This is one ramen bowl that is literally good to the last drop!

Saw the high reviews so had to check it out. Susuru Ramen Bar is located on the corner of Hollywood Blvd and N Kingsley Dr. The lot is small sharing spaces with other restaurants so your best bet is street parking, which can also be tricky especially later in the day. The restaurant is small, with the register counter as the first thing you see walking through the door. There's bar seating against the wall, and 2-3 tables for groups of maybe 4-6 people. The lady manning the front counter as well as taking orders and serving was fantastic. Very friendly and checked up on all tables through out the night. For ramen, my bf got the Tonkotsu ($1 extra for spicy), and I got the Mayu. I see why it has such high reviews, both were delicious. The roasted garlic oil was amazing and complimented the pork broth. The seasoned soft-boiled egg was our favorite part, not just lightly seasons either. It was sweet and savory with each bite, and the creaminess from the jammy yolk was fantastic. The charred cha siu slices had a slight sweetness too, and the fat through the slices gave it this wonderful melt in your mouth, mouth feel. The tonkostu spicy used the same broth just added the chili oil to it and gave it a good bite. The noodles had a nice chew to it. It was just the perfect bowl on a chilly May evening. Definitely worth checking out for a great bowl of ramen.
