We came here for lunch for AYCE sushi. There is a good variety of things to eat~ especially on the appetizer menu. We came around noon and were instantly seated. Whenever we ordered, food came out pretty quickly so we always had food for our table. Service was great and everyone was very attentive and kind. Northridge is smaller but has a good parking lot. Pasadena is nice but parking is street parking. I'm not sure if there's a lot for that as we alway parked along the street. And we always utilize the sushi bar counter there. And then there's Burbank, street parking if available but there's a few parking structure all nearby. This location is bigger which is a plus. There's two option with AYCE. Premium and regular. I've done both but we just normally stick to regular. Same options except for a few other specialties items. You have a sheet with everything that you just mark off. Literally so much things to choose from. The starters, rolls, sashimi, nigiri's, ramen and so on. Of course, you don't want to get full with starters. Oh, the whole table has to do AYCE. It's a definite on the steamed mussels. The way it's prepared, it's delicious. I would get the sausages every now and then. Simple but tasty and served with ketchup. Shishitos peppers are tasty and an easy eat. Stuffed poppers were good but didn't want to fill up on starters. Mains or sushi is what we came for. All nigiri are per piece when ordering. The fish are all fresh and decent size. Some places it's a sliver of fish on top a massive slab of rice. Portion ratio was great. Literally every sushi piece was excellent. There's a reason why they give you rounds to orders as everything comes out pretty fast...lol.... Trying to consume each dish before the other arrives was a laugh... Plus everything was fresh and made to order. I alway get the salmon collar as yellowtail tends to alway be limited. Which this visit, they had one available. Both are great and a good potion of meat with the ponzu sauce. Besides the sushi, there's the kind that's has no rice. It's a must try. Great all you can eat spot! Sat our party of 8 down no problem, and we were surprised to see all tables full on a weekday night. The salmon and yellowtail nigiri were my favorite, and they have an extensive selection of sides and other rolls included! They do charge for gratuity for a party bigger than 6. It's almost a whole other person + $20 as the "automatic tip", which is quite a lot in my opinion. The way that they fill the sushi pieces is very calculated too every time we've come, with your first round having very little rice underneath each piece of fish, and then by the third round, they're giving you MOUNTAINS of rice underneath, which I understand from a business perspective. That's where they lose a star for me, as my meal would've been more enjoyable if I didn't feel obligated to eat every single grain of extra rice that they load on towards the end of the meal. read more

Prices are quite comparable to Zono Sushi which is down the street, but I feel Zono's quality is a bit better. The steak teriyaki was a bit chewy but did have a nice flavor. I like that there was a variety of fish in the sushi set - though I did think it was a bit odd to have the soy sauce already brushed on the fish instead of being able to dip it myself. Was a tiny bit fishy though still a great deal for 12pcs of sushi. The salad for the sushi set was HUGE (unfortunately I forgot to take a picture). Thought we'd try the new All-You-Can-Eat sushi place in downtown Burbank. I think it's in the old Gourmet 88 location. That Chinese restaurant was there forever! You can get the regular dinner AYCE for $42.99 or the premium AYCE for $54.99. Or you can order à la carte. We did the regular AYCE. You order on a sheet of paper and can stay for 2 hours. They say you'll get charged for anything you don't eat. So we were sure to only order what we could eat. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had salad, edamame, several sushi rolls and many sashimi & sushi. The ONLY problem I had was the seared shrimp was way too spicy for me and I didn't think it was going to be. It was fun.
