There is street parking available and there is a public parking structure on the same building that this restaurant located at or you can park at the parking structure where the mall is and make your way through the world market exiting out of that end of the mall and walk a little by a block and a half to get to this restaurant. Their service was OK. Our server was a little confused but we had to clarify that we were doing the AYCE sushi here. A couple of pointers for the AYCE sushi available here is that they do serve full-size portions when it comes to the sushi rolls so do not expect a half portion of the roll so beware on how many you order. The quality on the fish with the carpaccio's is top-tier, though I will say so myself we ordered a variety from the salmon to the tuna and these were top-tier fish, rolls were pretty good too. We ordered a variety of appetizers. A cucumber salad is on point broiled mussels were pretty good. My mom ordered those, but I didn't try them, but she liked them have garlic chili edamame. It's $39.99 per person for AYCE if you're coming during lunch special hours which is from 11 AM to 3 PM it is $33.99 per person with limited options.

We were craving sushi and wanted a lot. So I looked around for AYCE and let me tell you this place has satisfied our sushi fix for a month. You come in greeted and welcomed. The service was great. It's very neat and clean and compfy. It looks a bit more upscale but I can tell you it's very casual. They did a good job with the design. Free parking right outside very close by. You get 3 rounds and order as much as you can eat. We didn't make it to 3rd round cause we ordered too much in the first round. Total for 3 people 3 sodas was 143.00 kind of pricey but it's worth it for the premium sushi.

Very cheap happy hour for sushi compared to a lot of other restaurants. I wouldn't say the quality is the best but decent for what you pay. They have some cheap alcohol options as well. The Carafe cocktail drink was worth it, yummy flavor and a lot of alcohol. Service was great too, very friendly. Inside there is a lot of seating, wasn't too crowded even for Friday evening. I like that it's near the amc and there's a public parking lot. Probably will come back if I want some cheap sushi

After asking ChatGPT, what sushi is comparable to sushi stop prices we were led to Octopus Japanese restaurant. I would say that I'm so happy we found it not to compare but ambience, food quality, and service pricing for happy hour are way beyond what I ever expected. We ended up with four different types of rolls. each between 4.00 and $4.50. I spent $24 on four different rolls and edamame. We were extremely full between my daughter and I. The spicy tuna roll was our favorite. Let's just say that we will now be coming here for reasonable sushi to satisfy our craving.

This is our favorite sushi place! The menu has so much variety that everyone in the family can pick and choose what they want. Also, everything that we've eaten here is delicious. Most of all,we enjoy seeing our favorite server, Jennifer. We love seeing her beautiful smile! Thank you for your warm hospitality, Jennifer. We will definitely be back soon!

Came in here kind of by accident today. The boyfriend and I were on our way to a different restaurant for late lunch/early dinner when we happened to walk by Octopus. We thought, why not? We were sat immediately and decided to browse their happy hour menu. Buy one get one for $1 on beers and a nice selection of appetizers and rolls with reduced pricing. We ordered a lot - garlic edamame, agedashi chicken, their cucumber (sunomono) salad, a red dragon roll, a spicy tuna roll, a salmon roll, and their yellowtail roll. Everything was delicious. The cucumber salad was so lovely and refreshing that we went ahead and ordered a second serving. The edamame was seasoned nicely, the chicken was juicy and fried perfectly, and all the rolls were awesome. You'd think after all that food we'd be all done... but no. Ordered one more salmon and red dragon roll. So, two beers, 6 rolls, 4 appetizers and the bill still came up under $100. Needless to say, we'll be back. Service was friendly. The bathrooms were clean. Great experience.

Fast service and good food at decent prices. We were sat promptly and everything came out promptly. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. Choice of rolls is one of the best options on the menu. Lots of appetizers and separate options for those that don't want to have sushi per se but want to enjoy a meal out.

You can never go wrong coming to Octopus sushi when you're in the Burbank area. The prices are very reasonable especially during happy hour. This is my go to place when I'm craving some sushi and their broiled Mussels. I always park at the public parking in the police station down the street. Last night, my sisters decide to join us so we were a bigger party than usual and the restaurant were busy for mother's day weekend. We got seated quick but the service was slow at time. We got the spicy tuna rolls, California rolls, yellowtail rolls, caterpillar rolls, spicy garlic edamame and boiled mussels. My sister's also ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box and chicken teriyaki bento box. The salmon on the bento box wasn't as warm so we think it just sat in the kitchen but the chicken teriyaki bento box was hot. If you come for the sushi only then it should be a quick service but if you get the bento box then you might have to wait. Our sushi came out quick and was delicious. The bento boxes comes with salad and miso soup which came out quick too. But the bento box took forever and I couldn't find out waitress so I had to ask another waitress for refill. I also asked about the bento box and they told me that they are backed up in the kitchen. The bento box didn't come out until we already finish all the sushi and other dishes. They also fix their TV subscription so you can watch some sports game now too.

2/14/26 Valentine's Day Tried Door Dash for the first time. Wife and I celebrated Valentine's at Niku X last Thursday. Today we just stayed in from all the crazy people/ drivers on the road. My wife didn't get what she requested and paid for; no garlic ponzu or any kind, only 3 out of 6 monk fish liver and no extra cream cheese in the Philly roll. Never again for delivery (no problem with door dash) it's Octopus. FYI, CHECK YOUR ORDER IF PICKING UP

I was disappointed that the $23.95 lunch menu was so limited. No nigiri offered on it at all which I was surprised about because the other AYCE sushi spot I normally go to in Alhambra does offer nigiri sushi for their $23 lunch menu. I ended up feeling pretty full off of rice and imitation crab due to the rolls being the only sushi available on the lunch menu. The rolls were delicious though. Worth checking out but not among my favorites.

Last Friday, my cousins and I had dinner at Octopus. We found parking on the street and in the nearby public parking lot easily, and we arrived at the restaurant at around 6:45pm. We were seated promptly, but it took a while for the staff to take our orders. At this hour, it looked like the tables were filling-up fast. The staff were friendly and checked-in with our table frequently throughout our meal. We ordered a variety of items, and my faves were the Cheese Pork Cutlet and Octopus Chef's Special Plate. The Cheese Pork Cutlet was crispy and complemented well with the sweet & salty sauce. However, the pork itself was kind of thin, but there was a good ratio of pork to cheese. The Special Plate came with a miso soup and salad, and the plate itself was colorful and full of fresh fish. I liked the roe bowl the most, which included rice, tobiko, smelt egg, and uni. The plate also had a spicy tuna handroll, which had too much tuna and could've used more rice, in my opinion. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our meal, and I wouldn't mind coming back to Octopus, if I was craving a casual and heavier sushi dinner.

I had a great experience and the service provided by both Jenny and Kevin and the rest of the team is absolutely extraordinary, and I was very pleased, and I have to say that these are standout employees who deserve extra recognition for their service at the table lots of attention and everything was brought quickly and refilled immediately

My boyfriend and I were across the street at Fantasia watching a World Cup came, and after we were craving hand rolls, when he spotted Toro Sushi Poke House. We took a look at their menu which was displayed on the outside. The prices were really affordable, so we just had to try it, and were so glad we did because this was one of the most affordable and delicious nigiri and hand roll experiences we've had! The place itself is small and intimate. They have a bar area and few tables inside and a small outdoor seating as well. When we entered we were greeted by our friendly waiter, and seated immediately. It was pretty empty around 5 pm on a Friday, which was convenient because we didn't have to wait for a table. I'm not sure how packed this place normally gets, but it was also the long holiday weekend, so that might be why. We started off with the fatty tuna nigiri. For $6 you get two big pieces, which is so affordable, and the quality was amazing! We then each got the 6 piece hand roll set which came with a spicy tuna, scallop, yellow tail, crab, salmon, and toro. I'm not a fan of scallops, so I switched it out with a yellow tail roll. The fish was top quality and delicious. I cannot wait to come back here and stuff my face again!

I've visited several times before, but today the service was truly exceptional. The owner personally came to our table to greet us and served each of our dishes, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious. The baked salmon and crab roll was excellent and much larger than I expected, which was definitely a pleasant surprise! The chicken udon was flavorful and generously packed with chicken. To top it all off, the takoyaki arrived fresh, hot, and perfectly prepared. Overall, the combination of outstanding service, fresh ingredients, and generous portions made for a wonderful dining experience.

The stuffed jalapeños were also just okay. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, but nothing really stood out to make me want to come back. Unfortunately, one of the plates we were given was still stained with food, which honestly should have been an immediate red flag. I ordered the Crab Zanmai Combination Plate. From what I could tell, it included a baked crab hand roll, 2 pieces of baked crab sushi, an 8-piece California roll, a soft shell crab roll, and 1 piece of fried soft shell crab. I'm kind of guessing on the exact contents because I couldn't find an actual description on either the menu or the restaurant's website. The soft shell crab was easily the best part of the combo, although that's admittedly a pretty low bar. The hand roll and baked crab pieces were passable. The California roll was more akin to something you'd find in a Ralph's grocery store sushi section than at an actual sushi restaurant. I also had the unfortunate experience of trying the salmon skin roll. The salmon skin may as well have been jerky. It didn't have that light crispness, but was extremely tough and not enjoyable at all. Definitely would pass on that. For basically $30 for this combo, I honestly think you're better off going to an actual sushi restaurant like Aikan. SushiStop is probably fine if you just want quick, cheap sushi, but if you're looking for a meal you'll genuinely enjoy, I'd probably recommend going elsewhere.
