A nice regular Asian restaurant with good vibes. Lots of parking in the strip and we didn't need to wait to be seated inside. Service was good. We got the following: 1. Yellowtail nigiri - 8/10 very fresh and flavorful 2. Lettuce wraps- 7/10 very delish but extremely oily. 3. Pad see wu - 8/10. Nailed it! 4. Sticky mango rice- 8/10 loved the sticky wild rice instead of regular white. I will revisit.

We got takeout so I can't really speak to the ambiance or service, but the food was ready when we got there which was great. It's in a large shopping center, so while there are a lot of parking spots, I had to park pretty far on a Friday night. We got the veggie gyoza and spring rolls to start. Both were good - nothing special but yummy. It's always nice when there are several veggie appetizer options! I got two sushi rolls, Bangkok Crunch and Pui Hi. Both tasted very good and had nice textures. The flavors were great and the size of the rolls was decent for the price. I'd be open to trying other rolls there. We ordered the chicken Thai Fried Rice. My gf really enjoyed it, and it was a very large portion, like several meals' worth. We also ordered tofu Pad See Ew, which I know is basic but it's my favorite. This was nothing like any Pad See Ew I've had before. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what I was expecting. The sauce was salty and garlicky, when it's usually sweet. I know the vegetables included were listed, so that wasn't a surprise, but I've never seen that mixture in this dish before. The tofu was well prepared and there was a good amount of it. It was two dinner servings for me, which is decent for the price.

Me, my wife, and 2 of our friends came to Banana Leaf to check out their Christmas cocktails. We were pretty quick, as we had a reservation for another place right after this. I had never known of this place, until our friends mentioned it. Me and my buddy got the margarita, and the girls got the lychee drink. They came out pretty quick and were honestly pretty strong. It is a Thai restaurant, so they have a full food menu, but we just came for drinks. There is plenty of parking as this is basically in a large Kroger shopping center. It's a little small inside, so just keep that in mind if you have a much larger party. I definitely want to come back in the future to check out their food!

I finally got a chance to visit Banana Leaf and it didn't disappoint. I tried a green curry dish that served at a festival a while back and decided to visit the restaurant while I was in the area. The restaurant is located in a large shopping plaza and plenty of free parking was available. The restaurant was decked out with beautiful Halloween decorations. I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly. To start, I ordered a margarita flavored with Thai chili. It was really good and well balanced. I also ordered the spring rolls and Tom Kha soup. Both were delicious. For my entree, I ordered the green curry with chicken. I really enjoyed the dish. I didn't add any additional spice and it still had a kick to it. I truly enjoyed my lunch here and look forward to returning.

I had an excellent experience at Banana Leaf! Parking is shared by many places, so you should be able to find a spot. My friend made a reservation for us, and we were immediately seated. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. our server was so sweet, kind, and patient. We ordered the shrimp dumplings, spring rolls, tofu fried rice, pad see ew, and the banana fritters with matcha ice cream. Everything was exquisite. Our server constantly checked in on us and took our payment table side. We were given a warm goodbye and even took a selfie at their photo booth before we left. This was such a great experience. Highly recommend and I will be back!

It was ok. I wish there was more options like seafood option to get with the drunken noodles. I got the shrimp and had to remove the tails which would have been better if it was off.

I have been wanting to come here for a while, and I'm glad I finally did! I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty empty. I like the decor because it was really floral and pretty. The service was fast and efficient, and the server was attentive and helped me figure out what meal would work best. The lunch portion of the Krad POW was very good and filling, and I ended up taking some home. The sushi was pretty good also.

The Ambiance is nice. I went for lunch. The wait staff (one person) was extremely busy, as she had a large party (poor lady) I had the Calamari, a Lychee Martini and Shrimp Pad Thai. It tastes pretty good. I'm a Pad Thai snob being from SF, but I would give it a 3.5 because it was very salty. I added some spice (chilli sauce) which made it a lot better. The Calamari was a small portion imo, but chrisp and tasty. I know it was full of sodium because I had a huge headache the next morning & that's all I ate that day. I hope they didn't have MSG in it but it does cause me to have headaches. Check this place out, it you like Thai

Were visiting Atlanta and staying at the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta North Perimeter Mall and Area. My brother suggested we have Thai food and this restaurant had good ratings in Yelp and was marked with $$. It was an easy drive and we both enjoyed our meals. We had talked about bringing back leftovers but we finished the meal and there weren't any. We'd return here again. @BananaLeafATL @EatBananaLeafATL #RestaurantsinSandySpringsGA #AtlantaEats #buzzybooth

Chicken satay and Chicken Wings were sweet , but tested good . Pad thai tasty and so was Basil fried rice , which was spicy enough for me, both dishes had good portions . Atmosphere was very nice , place clean and Fast service . Busy parking area during the weekend as they is plenty of food places around there .

Small bowl but I scraped up every drop of the sauce! Delicious Squid Salad!

I went to this place because of Yelp reviews and it didn't disappoint me at all! Friendly staff with fabulous decor of Thailand. I went solo was seated immediately. 15-20 customers were already at tables. There is also an outside patio but I'm enjoying the AC in The South! I bought a squid salad, avocado roll and soft crab tempura roll! All were so delicious and fresh! Everything came out smoothly and I wasn't rushed to leave when I also met a solo customer sitting next to me! We talked for about another hour after we were finished with our dinner!

GAENG KEOW WAN and SHRIMP TEMPURA APPETIZER
    Madison D.

Good food however it was nothing too special. They did have interesting dishes, which I have not seen in other restaurants which is a bonus. On the other hand, their beef was extremely chewy in the Gaeng Keow Wan. This dish was supposedly the three spice level, the highest spice level this restaurant has. However, even a person who cannot handle spice at all could eat this with ease, not spicy at all. But the flavours were intriguing and tasty.

Because of this, dining out, especially at a buffet, always felt nearly impossible to me. Nori Nori completely changed that perception. My first interaction with the restaurant was a phone call to ask whether they offered tamari. The hostess was incredibly courteous and immediately reassured me that they did. When I arrived, I was warmly escorted to my table, and the Chef/Owner--who I believe held both roles--personally came over to guide me through the menu items I should avoid. She also explained that many dishes could be prepared gluten-free and dairy-free so I could enjoy them safely. That level of care and attentiveness was both comforting and genuinely touching. Now, onto the food... They offered veggie and salmon rolls, refreshing cold salads, and hot dishes such as Oriental Fish, steamed snow crab legs, seasoned scallops, and some of the fluffiest white rice I've had in quite some time. At one point, I had a question about a particular dish, and before I could even worry, the Chef was right there to help. She kindly steered me toward another wonderfully fragrant option that was safer for me to enjoy. Her attentiveness felt incredibly sincere--like someone truly invested in making sure I had both a safe and memorable dining experience. That small gesture meant more to me than I can fully express. Living with dietary restrictions means that something as routine as choosing a meal can be emotionally exhausting and potentially dangerous without constant vigilance. To make the experience even more thoughtful, the restaurant also provided plastic gloves so I wouldn't need to touch shared tongs or surfaces. Since I can react to contact with gluten-contaminated surfaces, this extra precaution made me feel genuinely cared for. And finally, dessert: sliced honeydew, cantaloupe, and CHERRY JELLO! It was the perfect ending to such a thoughtful, safe, and genuinely delicious dining experience. I can't wait to return again!

Cuddlefish originally opened in the old Brush Sushi space in Decatur in November 2022. Cuddlefish moved and opened in Dunwoody in March 2025. (Brush moved and opened in Buckhead in August 2023.) Cuddlefish is from the same Michelin-starred, award-winning folks behind Brush, Lucky Star, Momonoki, etc. (Jason Liang, ChingYao Wang, John Chen). Cuddlefish is on OpenTable, so you can book reservations there and earn points. Free parking is available in one of High Street's garages. The best place to park is in the garage that's in the same building as Cuddlefish. Enter the garage via Cross St. After parking, there's a convenient walkway that leads out of the garage that's only a couple storefronts away from Cuddlefish. The restaurant has a nice corner spot at High Street. Outside, there's a spacious covered patio. Inside, the temaki bar, dining room, and bakery-cafe all share a modern, open space. The bakery-cafe is small. We had a party of five, including a baby. Here's what my wife and I had: RESTAURANT: Sake Creations * Matcha Saketini sake cocktail ($14) Other Drinks * Yuzu Lychee Mocktail (off-menu, on the house; thank you!) Starters * Sweet Potato Chips ($6) - plum seasoning * Garlic Black Pepper Edamame ($7) * Crispy Tofu ($10) - Sichuan peppercorn, soy garlic, scallion Temaki * Chili Avocado ($7) - chili ponzu, chili paste, negi * Truffle Shiitake ($8) * Shrimp Katsu ($9) - pineapple, cantaloupe * Real Crab California ($9) - chili aioli * Salmon Tataki, cooked ($8) - Asian pear, shallot ponzu, negi * Yellowtail & Salsa ($8) - jalapeno cilantro, fried leeks * Salmon Tataki, regular ($8) - Asian pear, shallot ponzu, negi, ikura * Toro Uni Ikura ($25) * Salmon Ikura ($9) * Hokkaido Uni ($25) BAKERY-CAFE: * Matcha Tiramisu Latte ($7) - iced, oat milk * Matcha Strawberry Croissant Cup ($7) * Matcha Chocolate Cookie ($5) My wife and I each had five temaki plus apps. That was enough to fill us up for a meal. I probably could've had one or two more temaki. In general, every item was well-made and delicious. All of the temaki were great and all of the ingredients were fresh. The presentation was beautiful. My favorite temaki were the Toro Uni Ikura, Salmon Ikura, and Hokkaido Uni. My wife is pregnant, so they accommodated her with a free mocktail, cooking the salmon and excluding the ikura on her Salmon Tataki temaki. We appreciated that. Our table gobbled everything up. The Matcha Saketini was thick and heavy on the matcha. We did find it cumbersome to remove two strips of plastic for each temaki, but we understand why they do it (to keep the seaweed crisp). Sometimes, some of the ingredients would slide off with the plastic wrap, which was not ideal. I heard that if you sit at the bar, you don't have to deal with the plastic wrap (e.g., if you do a temaki tasting). The treats from the bakery-cafe were yummy. Service was excellent. All of the staff was polite and friendly. Thank you, Sian, Etta, and the Asian guy with glasses whose name I did not get. The name "Cuddlefish" is a play on cuttlefish, which is similar to a squid. Growing up, I ate dried cuttlefish from Thailand as a snack.
