A nice Korean pub to catch up or grab a bite! It looks small from the outside but is a cute, long space on the inside. I went there around 7pm and it's great that there is parking (not free though, $5). It was busy so it might take a bit to flag the servers depending on when you go, and the food was generous portion and it's the typical price for the area. I recommend going easy on ordering first, because the portions could be bigger than you think, and then order more if it's not enough. 420 fries, clam soup, and spicy rose chicken (udon+ricecake) were good dishes!

I had a great time here! The food was delicious and served in dishes that made it perfect to share. I also loved how cute and cozy the space felt. The service was on point with frequent check ins and an option to even call someone over to the table with a button. We ordered the spicy bbq chicken, bulgogi special, shake shake fries, and spicy rice cakes. The flavor was incredible. My favorites were definitely the bulgogi and the spicy rice cakes. I also ordered their yogurt soju cocktail which was one of my favorite drinks in a while. It really wowed the whole table. I wasn't a fan of the apple frozen beer, but I'm just not a beer person. It was fun to try and I thought it was cool that the there was a shifted layer of foam. Parking was also really easy since they have a lot, but we did have to pay a few dollars.

this place is one of my favorite pochas that ktown has to offer! this place is a more casual vibe and the food here is so good if you want a place to eat well with friends. i love the service here too and the atmosphere of this place is also so nice.

Local Korean bar. Kind of a small place with maybe 12-15ish tables. Free parking, kind of hidden if you don't know where it is. The appetizers were good, service is good, can get pretty loud since the space is small. The only complaint I had was the potato pancake was not crispy but rather chewy. Kind of disappointing, but the vibe was great. The other appetizers were awesome!

one of my fav ktown spots to go to!! i get the large beef intestine every time its spicy, flavorful, and sooo good. The fish jerky is fire and the frozen beer is crazy experience haha. Love the atmosphere kinda makes u feel like you're in a hidden bar in seoul. Service is always great and quick.

I'm always on the look out for great drinking food and cute good vibes. This place has both. Just like any other late night drinking spot in Ktown, the service is fast and convenient (by just pressing a button, they got it down). It is quite small so make sure to sign your name and there might be a wait, but other than that, good is great. The start is the intestine, sooo perfectly crispy. Their batter is fluffy and not dense at all. Favor are perfect, not salty or overly spicy. I will be back.

Initially, I wanted to come because i saw Lisa Blackpink ever came here! Not sugarcoating but it is not overhyped at all!!! SO GOOODD ! ambiance is supportive Food tastes delicious ! We ordered the beer & makgeolli ( free pretzels) -- we played a bit of fun games to see who will drink the most lol. But anyway, i had a good time. Just be prepared to wait for 30 mins at least to get seated . Price is affordable too Will come back

First time trying this place and I loved the vibe ! It has nice dark lighting and tv's for the people that like sports. The workers attended my partner and I super quick and if you need anything there's call buttons on the table so you could call your server. The server told me that the spicy rose chicken was good and boy was he right ! As soon as I saw it my mouth dropped, it was HUGE. Thankfully I wasn't eating alone and had backup haha but it was indeed really good. It had a perfect ratio of spicy and sweet at the same time. I want to come back !!!

this is such a good place to go with friends late night to grab some drinks and food! we came at around 9pm on a saturday night and got seated immediately. we ubered here but a friend drove and said the parking does cost money. the vibes of this place are so cozy and the food is genuinely amazing. the rose tteokbokki was my favorite thing here. i always love udon with these dishes and it was the perfect amount of spicy for me with a good variety of toppings - fish cake, rice cakes, sausages! there was a lot of us so we finished it quick and asked for a side of ramen noodles to eat with the leftover sauce :P we also got the corn cheese and tried the frozen apple beer and makgeolli! the beer was fun to try even though i don't usually prefer beer and the makgeolli was soooo sweet i loved it.

Holy moly, this place is excellent, from the food to the vibes to the service. A++, no notes. Just kidding, this site's all about notes, so I have some notes for you: Cheese corn: maybe the best cheese corn I've had in LA. And that includes for the elote man. The spices they add to it are amazing. And they have a hot Cheetos (420) version, is that's your bag. Perfect corn to cheese ratio. Perilla oil fried eggs: served as 3 eggs sunny side up on a plate...just delicious. Dip the cheese corn in the yolks and die of happiness! Crispy fried large intestines: phenomenal. Slightly spicy, so much flavor, lots of great veggies. Phenomenal with the cheese corn! Shake shake chicken: delicious spice blend, and only slightly spicy. Shaken table side for some extra entertainment! Both the chicken and the fries were great. The bredin head a great texture and labor and the chicken was so juicy and tasty. Bar/club lighting, but not so dark that you can't see! Quite nice, actually. It's homey and cozy and feels kind of like a backyard hangout. Our server was great - fabulous recommendations, great energy, super friendly. The food came out so quick! This is the *spot*. We will definitely be back, hopefully many times.

    Hanna L.

Honestly a really underrated pocha place... The food quality is so different from all the other pocha places I've tried. It's so good and you can tell the effort them put into each dish. Also, there is HUGE FREE PARKING, which is so hard to find in ktown. The vibes were cozy and smaller and the service was great. There was barely a wait, which I'm so surprised about. I loved everything I tried. Better than misoolkwan, hanshin, and other pubs...

We sat in the patio…read moresection; tables were nice light wood, and we were surrounded by vegetation, giving off a very farm to table vibe. The mocktails were refreshing and balanced!!I was so glad they weren't to sweet. We indulged in the Sierra Sunset, which came on a light up coaster showing off the sunset colors. And also the Lychee's & Cream, which was my favorite. I think it was the use of the kaffir yogurt that really balanced the mocktail and set it apart. The tapas we had were the Salmon Tartar, Patatas Bravas (add crispy Jamon), and Wagyu Empanadas. The citru notes in the salmon tartar really made this dish sing to me; bouncing off the creaminess of the avocado mouse and the richness of the salmon, then finishing with the crunch of the tostada. The Patatas Bravas were nice and crispy, and toped with a creamy aoil then a spicy Bravas sauce with added a nice spice and depth to the dish. However, adding the crispy Jamon is definitely the way to go if you order this dish!! Those Wagyu Empanadas were just the right ratio of meat to dough. Then those Manchego cheese cracker not only are a nice crunch, but also bring a nuttiness that balances the richness of the meat and that succulent mole sauce. Next was the burrata bowl, another favorite of mine. This must have been a whole burrata ball spread out and topped with cherry tomatoes an herbal basil sauce and crunchy kale chips. They even have us some tostada chips to dip in this delicious burrata bowl. They have a whole pallela section under the main dishes, so of course we had to try this out. We went with the Paella Negra; squid ink, gulf shrimp, clams, scallops and broccolini, and of course we added the Iberian ham. This was so decadent and delicious. Definitely recommend topping it off with a squeeze of the lemon they provide you with, it complements the dish. The corrners of the rice were nice and crispy, while the center remind fluffy. Shrimp were cooked to perfection, the dolops of aoli complemented the side ink rice. The addition of the Iberian ham really brought a smokey and salty addition to this dish. To end the night we decided to indulge in the desert trio, this included churros, an orange Mochi, torrija and ice cream. The orange Mochi was light and delicious and definitely and Instagram-able dish. But the one that stole the show for me, was the torrija. Something I had never had before, nice rich brioche style pastry filled with a passion fruit cream.

I have tasted much better paella's here in Los Angeles. Although I was extremely disappointed when served our orders, this was below even what we have in LA. Ambience amazing the reflection of stars has nothing to do with the service whatsoever. Actually our service was excellent. It was the food that ruined the experience. This is recently not uncommon in LA. We ordered the patatas bravas, camarones alijillo... I understand that every restaurant has to put their spin on it but this was really missing the mark... since when do we put a aioli sauce in paella or even on potatoes. Yuk!! Amsterdam, maybe but not in seafood. Also chimichurri on shrimp wow this is super new - I ordered paella in Spain at least 20 times and I've never seen it like this. Sangria excellent! Paella 5/10 - I know that they are cooking the seafood whilst still having the paella come out al dente - but our seafood was severely overcooked not much lobster, and a very thin layer of paella - incredibly disappointed, although it was date night and that made it great. I would not recommend this restaurant for paella. It has a great atmosphere. Good drinks nice atmosphere. I know this sounds terrible, but I'm just going to have to go back to La paella for the time being since a few of the restaurants that we frequent have closed - so we will see how long this lasts. Off to look for more restaurants with excellent paella. We definitely have a lacking here in the prime Westside.

Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. First off, it's a beautiful restaurant with Spanish touches throughout. There is seating inside and outside the restaurant in the courtyard. In the courtyard, there was a musician playing the guitar. Loved, LOVED his rendition of Hotel California. Really put me in a relaxing mood. The food here is unbelievably good with a few minor exceptions. Here is a run down of everything we had: -Patatas Bravas 5/5 stars. The roasted potatoes were delicious and the creamy sauce drizzled on top made it that much better. -Croquetas de Jamon y Pollo 4/5 stars. I remember it being tasty, but it wasn't as memorable as some of the other things I tried. -Gambas al Ajillo 5/5 stars. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and flavored. Even the bread, which tasted like sourdough, was fantastic. -Calamares Fritos 10/5 stars. No, that is not a typo. I usually avoid calamari like the plague since I'm not a fan of the taste. Here, however, I couldn't stop eating the calamari. I was popping them in my mouth like popcorn. There was something about the batter they used to coat the calamari. It had a satisfying crunch to it. Didn't even need the sauce it came with. -Prime Ribeye (prepared medium rare) 3/5 stars. The steak was okay. It was a bit undercooked and didn't have a nice crust on it. -Papitas Fritas: 10/5 stars. Once again, not a typo. The fries here were something special, which is saying a lot since fries are ubiquitous. The fries were delicately crispy and delicious. -Jamon Iberico Cebi de Campo with Manchego Cheese 4/5 stars. The Jamon Iberico was good, but not great. It had a slightly weird after taste that I usually don't get from high quality Jamon Iberico. -Tarta De Queso and Churros con Chocolate 3/5 stars. These were the only two items that I was truly disappointed with. There was nothing special about these dessert items. The churros were bland. -Cucumber Mint Cooler and Devil's Day Off 5/5 stars. Both of these drinks were refreshing. The Cucumber Mint Cooler, in case you're wondering, could best be described as a well executed, non-alcoholic cucumber mojito. The Devil's Day Off was a fizzy grapefruit and cinnamon delight. I have to end this review with the service. It was top notch. Our server, Robert, was not only extremely friendly, but helpful and informative. He walked us through the menu and talked us out of ordering certain items so that we wouldn't over order food or get items too similar to one another. At one point, we were debating whether to order the Churrasco a la Plancha (8 oz ribeye) or 12 oz ribeye. One person from our family wanted the fritas that only came with the Churrasco while another person (me) wanted the 12 oz ribeye. Robert resolved the disagreement by suggesting that we just order the 12 oz ribeye and they'll throw in the fritas for free (which they did). At the end of the meal, he made sure to point out that the gratuity had already been added to the bill and that there was no need to add a tip. We appreciated the heads up, otherwise we may not have noticed that. If it's not clear from my write up, I really enjoyed this place, despite a few items that missed the mark. If it wasn't so far away from where I live, I would have been back this weekend to try out more items from the menu.

The food was good but not excellent. For example, the pork belly noodles were just a glorified Japchae. 4. Parking. I mean it is.. Arts district. You can spend 1 hour finding street parking or paying an arm and a leg for a lot. The ambiance is modern but warm. I've been a few times but this might be the last for a while.

It's been a while since I've had an exceptional meal and Jilli really knows how to treat their…read morecustomers. The owner was on site greeting everyone. His love for his business was quite evident and he's very charismatic. They were so apologetic because our reserve table wasn't ready, but it really was just 5 minute passed our reservation. They offered drinks on the house. NOW THATS SERVICE! We ended up buying more anyway. For the quality of food and attention it was well worth the price. The space is small, so reservations are a must. This is what we ordered for 5 guys. (we over ordered by one dish). The portions were surprisingly larger than expected and we were so happy with every dish overall. I would recommend this to anyone. Shrimp toast (15) - 6 pieces, delicious. Great texture. Wagu Yukhoe (25) - This was my second favorite dish. Amazing tartar that was so amazing. Enough to share, but I wanted more. Nurungji Risotto (20) - This was surprise . Like a thick congee and packed with flavor. The table loved this so much. Chimmilier KPC (25) - I would skip this. You can get Korean fried chicken othe places and their version was done well, but not unique enough. The gave a lot of pieces! Pork Jowl Jeyuk (30) - My favorite dish of the night. It was soft and melts in your mouth. I can't wait to order this again. Cucumber Salad (4.50) - Refreshing and our only veggie dish Galbi Frites (35) - Very good, but tastes like it sounds. Crispy fries, good quality meat Sang Makgeolli (23) - we tried the flight and Sang was the winnger. Bright and easy to drink. It was perfect to share with all 5 of us. Much better with a group of four as a shared experience. Family style always and the portions allow for it. Can't wait to go back! For the love of LA dining. THANK YOU!

Neat suljib, with a bit of that modern yet nostalgic flair. Came here a bit earlier before a…read moreconcert, and they were playing classic 90's anime with bits and pieces of interesting decor plastered. - Rigatoni alla Kimchi Vodka - first time having Korean/Italian fusion, I really liked this, probably my favorite dish, creamy but balanced with a bit of kick from the kimchi. - Galbi Frites - Galbi a bit salty and kinda small for my preference (would prefer less but a meatier bite or just charge more for a "better" bite). Fries are nice, but remind me of something like Potato Corner in a way (however you'd want to take that) - Clam Gnocchi Sujebi - sujebi (or any soup) doesn't really click for me in a drinking establishment, but I liked it regardless, maybe a bit salty if I had to levy something at it. Ironically, it would be fine without the noodle pieces, since you get your starch from the potatoes We also had a bit of the nasung makgeolli; not much of a drinker so can't judge it, but I liked it! Seemed to be from a local brand instead of the commercialized ones you usually see at KBBQ so that's nice.
