A nice Korean pub to catch up or grab a bite! It looks small from the outside but is a cute, long space on the inside. I went there around 7pm and it's great that there is parking (not free though, $5). It was busy so it might take a bit to flag the servers depending on when you go, and the food was generous portion and it's the typical price for the area. I recommend going easy on ordering first, because the portions could be bigger than you think, and then order more if it's not enough. 420 fries, clam soup, and spicy rose chicken (udon+ricecake) were good dishes!

I had a great time here! The food was delicious and served in dishes that made it perfect to share. I also loved how cute and cozy the space felt. The service was on point with frequent check ins and an option to even call someone over to the table with a button. We ordered the spicy bbq chicken, bulgogi special, shake shake fries, and spicy rice cakes. The flavor was incredible. My favorites were definitely the bulgogi and the spicy rice cakes. I also ordered their yogurt soju cocktail which was one of my favorite drinks in a while. It really wowed the whole table. I wasn't a fan of the apple frozen beer, but I'm just not a beer person. It was fun to try and I thought it was cool that the there was a shifted layer of foam. Parking was also really easy since they have a lot, but we did have to pay a few dollars.

this place is one of my favorite pochas that ktown has to offer! this place is a more casual vibe and the food here is so good if you want a place to eat well with friends. i love the service here too and the atmosphere of this place is also so nice.

Local Korean bar. Kind of a small place with maybe 12-15ish tables. Free parking, kind of hidden if you don't know where it is. The appetizers were good, service is good, can get pretty loud since the space is small. The only complaint I had was the potato pancake was not crispy but rather chewy. Kind of disappointing, but the vibe was great. The other appetizers were awesome!

one of my fav ktown spots to go to!! i get the large beef intestine every time its spicy, flavorful, and sooo good. The fish jerky is fire and the frozen beer is crazy experience haha. Love the atmosphere kinda makes u feel like you're in a hidden bar in seoul. Service is always great and quick.

I'm always on the look out for great drinking food and cute good vibes. This place has both. Just like any other late night drinking spot in Ktown, the service is fast and convenient (by just pressing a button, they got it down). It is quite small so make sure to sign your name and there might be a wait, but other than that, good is great. The start is the intestine, sooo perfectly crispy. Their batter is fluffy and not dense at all. Favor are perfect, not salty or overly spicy. I will be back.

Initially, I wanted to come because i saw Lisa Blackpink ever came here! Not sugarcoating but it is not overhyped at all!!! SO GOOODD ! ambiance is supportive Food tastes delicious ! We ordered the beer & makgeolli ( free pretzels) -- we played a bit of fun games to see who will drink the most lol. But anyway, i had a good time. Just be prepared to wait for 30 mins at least to get seated . Price is affordable too Will come back

First time trying this place and I loved the vibe ! It has nice dark lighting and tv's for the people that like sports. The workers attended my partner and I super quick and if you need anything there's call buttons on the table so you could call your server. The server told me that the spicy rose chicken was good and boy was he right ! As soon as I saw it my mouth dropped, it was HUGE. Thankfully I wasn't eating alone and had backup haha but it was indeed really good. It had a perfect ratio of spicy and sweet at the same time. I want to come back !!!

Insane spot, amazing food, good vibes, good music, friendly staff. Parking was 5 bucks tho but I'll be coming back fs

this is such a good place to go with friends late night to grab some drinks and food! we came at around 9pm on a saturday night and got seated immediately. we ubered here but a friend drove and said the parking does cost money. the vibes of this place are so cozy and the food is genuinely amazing. the rose tteokbokki was my favorite thing here. i always love udon with these dishes and it was the perfect amount of spicy for me with a good variety of toppings - fish cake, rice cakes, sausages! there was a lot of us so we finished it quick and asked for a side of ramen noodles to eat with the leftover sauce :P we also got the corn cheese and tried the frozen apple beer and makgeolli! the beer was fun to try even though i don't usually prefer beer and the makgeolli was soooo sweet i loved it.

Holy moly, this place is excellent, from the food to the vibes to the service. A++, no notes. Just kidding, this site's all about notes, so I have some notes for you: Cheese corn: maybe the best cheese corn I've had in LA. And that includes for the elote man. The spices they add to it are amazing. And they have a hot Cheetos (420) version, is that's your bag. Perfect corn to cheese ratio. Perilla oil fried eggs: served as 3 eggs sunny side up on a plate...just delicious. Dip the cheese corn in the yolks and die of happiness! Crispy fried large intestines: phenomenal. Slightly spicy, so much flavor, lots of great veggies. Phenomenal with the cheese corn! Shake shake chicken: delicious spice blend, and only slightly spicy. Shaken table side for some extra entertainment! Both the chicken and the fries were great. The bredin head a great texture and labor and the chicken was so juicy and tasty. Bar/club lighting, but not so dark that you can't see! Quite nice, actually. It's homey and cozy and feels kind of like a backyard hangout. Our server was great - fabulous recommendations, great energy, super friendly. The food came out so quick! This is the *spot*. We will definitely be back, hopefully many times.

    top quality pocha food
    Hanna L.

Honestly a really underrated pocha place... The food quality is so different from all the other pocha places I've tried. It's so good and you can tell the effort them put into each dish. Also, there is HUGE FREE PARKING, which is so hard to find in ktown. The vibes were cozy and smaller and the service was great. There was barely a wait, which I'm so surprised about. I loved everything I tried. Better than misoolkwan, hanshin, and other pubs...

What seemed like a deceptively simple bowl was one of the most delicious and flavorful meals I've had - I'll be thinking about my bowl for a long time. I got the plain kalgaksu, mainly because it included pork potstickers. The anchovy broth isn't fishy (which I was concerned about), it's deep and full in a way that's hard to describe. It penetrates the noodles and potatoes well. The broth is similar if not the same between most bowl types. The cold noodles were also delicious, which a couple of my friends ordered. Quite large portions, as just about everyone had to take some home. They also have bibimbap if you're craving a rice based meal instead. I really wanted authentic Korean food that was not kbbq and not tofu and this place delivered! This restaurant is in a small strip mall. The strip mall has other Korean food options. They have a valet parking system of sorts but we didn't pay, we self parked. The attendant told us we were fine. It was approx 9pm when we arrived and also a week night. I have no idea how much valet parking is here. We were a small party of two. Upon arrival, we were notified they were out of RICE. Um..what?? That's a good problem (for them to have) but not for consumers. I feel this really limited our options to just soup. I honestly didn't want soup but there wasn't much else we could order. The bowls were large and came out piping hot. It was a satisfying meal and not too heavy. The price point was on the pricey side. Our waiter told us business has not been the same post covid. Some dishes are between $40-$60. I asked for a soup and they were able to make it less spicy. My friend got a soup with dumplings in it. He put a good amount of soy sauce to give the broth some life. Also, the banchan is on point. We asked for a refill and devoured the second portions. If you wanna impress friends with Korean food, bring them here! Its a casual place.

Also they were cleaning the kitchen while serving food which was kinda not sanitary with all the water splashing on the floor of the kitchen while they were making food. Overall it's not what it used to be and cleaning the kitchen while making and serving food is not a good combo.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
