It's got a vibrant rustic-can, loud but comfy feel to it. The place looks cool inside and out, you just know this greasy spoon is going to have good food and it doesn't fail to provide it either! You can order anything and leave happy (from the apple pie to the pig, beef and chicken sandwich). They have booth seating, counter seating for one (or two) and offer outdoor seating with a little picnic table, shaded area and they also accept cash/credit. On the menu, there's pig, beef and chicken items, even a fish fry. They're great for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with or without friends/family. Known for their BBQ, in a variety of flavors, it's simply finger-licking delicious! I like coming here for breakfast mostly, love me some good home fries and a juicy steak. Portions are large and filling. I've also ordered take-out and picked up my order, the staff is super friendly and there's such an upbeat vibe to the place.

Phenomenal food and prices!…read more I got a double bacon burger topped with onion rings, pulled chicken, and brisket that was HUGE! I had to hunch over to take a bit so I didn't get it all over me... great flavor and very delicious. It was a crazy order for me bec I usually keep it simple but this was calling my name. My server was great. She was super attentive and made sure my cup was never out of water. (I usually drink water when dining out) The place is def little so it gets packed quick. A couple booths and a couple tables. Maybe 10 total. Parking can be very tight in front so go to the back or side. I'll be back to try other things.

Campfire Grill continues to be my favorite breakfast spot in Buffalo!…read more I walked in on Labor Day 2026 around 8:30am and the hostess said I could pick anywhere to sit as it wasn't very busy, so, I grabbed a stool at the bar so I could watch the magic in the kitchen. A waitress came over with a menu and took my drink order, an easy order - coffee. They gave me plenty of time to decide what I wanted. When I remember my last visit, the customer service was a little lacking but this time, everyone I interacted was incredibly pleasant and very nice! About 10-15 minutes later, my breakfast was brought over with a variety of syrups. For breakfast I went with an old favorite, "Hill" size (three) Cinnamon Roll Homemade Hot Cakes with whipped cream on top! They were nicely sized and made to perfection. I LOVE these pancakes so much that I scarf them down in what feels like two minutes, so I put A LOT of effort into pacing myself and enjoying, savoring them this time. I've been coming here for eight years now and I will say, the prices have gone up but it's not prohibitive and once in a while, you just have to treat yourself. Buffalo has several great breakfast spots and Campfire Grill is certainly one of them. I can not wait to come back for another plate of hot cakes or their crunchy French toast!

A nice surprise here. I groaned inside when an old friend suggested we meet here for breakfast. I…read moreexpected the usual mediocre food from a grumbling waitress in a greasy spoon setting. Instead I found a great experience. I arrived first. There's a very large parking lot that extends down a little hill with an entrance/exit on Sonwil drive. That's Important as Genesee st can be busy and the stoplight saves the day. The hostess offered to seat me first but I waited. We were sat immediately after their arrival and offered coffee. Our waitress was quick and gave us the opportunity to chat a bit and look through the menu. On a Sunday morning, the place was full. I ordered a pita melettes with gyro meat and feta with the addition of spinach and a side of home fries. Our waitress kept the coffee coming and the food came out within 15 minutes. The home fries were perfectly browned and had plenty of onions and peppers. The pita melette was excellent. The flat pita rolled around a thin layer of egg, stuffed with the spinach, gyro and feta. The pita was warm and soft , had ample feta and the chunk style of gyro (opposed to the thin slices). My friends veggie omelette was good with the rye toast. The place was bright and shiny clean. A large case up front selling what looked like mostly premade desserts but there was a nice baklava cheesecake and I'm kicking myself for not grabbing a piece of the spanakopita for later. Next time I won't hesitate to come here, I'll suggest it!

I had special #2: 2 eggs (in my case sunny side up), rye toast and hash brown potatoes. Onions are not included, for 75cents up charge they will add them. Weird thing on their menu: #2 in breakfast all day is $1 more than #2 breakfast special for the exact same dish! Bacon is extra too, 3 strips for $2. A cup of coffee is $3,49, not really cheap but comes with unlimited refills. Our waitress was very busy with a lot of tables to cover, but she was very attentive and refilled the coffee many times.

Was a bit confused at first because they brought placemats with the breakfast menu then a bit later brought regular menu's. The waitress brought waters and told us the specials. They do not serve alcohol. It was a while before she came back to get our order. We both got coffee and ordered a special that was a stuffed pepper with mashed potatoes and garlic bread. Huge portion & half came home because we had to get the crapes. Got an order of 3 to share. We got the cheese, cherry & apple with cinnamon. Of course the cherry were my favorite but they all were good. They also offer blueberry, strawberry (in season) peaches & cream. Also took part of mine home. The food got 5 stars but the service was very slow.

One ordered pork chops and the other meat loaf, both served with a potato pancake & cabbage. I didn't catch what the actual dish was. I had one goal, a plate of potato pancakes. They were good but not exactly what I expected which was grated potatoes. These seemed.closer to mashed potatoes. Maybe over mixed? Also I received 1 small tube of sour cream, certainly not enough for four potato pancakes since they'd give you the same for one. My friends appeared to enjoy their meals. A bit disappointed but I'll still go back since they're definitely the place to go to get good authentic polish food. Next time it'll be pierogi and kielbasa! 2025-91

I don't make it over to Cruisers Diner often, but when I do, I leave very full and happy!…read more A family member and I arrived around 10:45am on a Friday and scored a parking spot in the small parking lot facing Harlem Rd. in Cheektowaga. We walked in and were surprised with how busy it was with many tables and booths filled. The waitress told us we could grab any booth or table and she'd be over with menus. I have to give a shoutout to our waitress as she was the only one working, taking care of everyone and doing a fantastic job! She was so nice and personable and made sure to check on us periodically. After we got our coffee and waters, she took our order and let the two of us relax and chat until our plates arrived about 15 minutes later. For breakfast I ordered two buttermilk pancakes and added chocolate chips (an extra $1.99) from the "Hub Caps" section of their breakfast menu. I will tell you right now, any normal person will NOT finish both pancakes! Wow, their pancakes are ginormous! Both were jam-packed with chocolate chips and topped with dollops of whipped butter. They were made perfectly - hot and fluffy! I don't know how but I managed to ALMOST eat both, but had to throw in the napkin about three-quarters of the way of my second pancake. I managed to impress our waitress - She'd never seen anyone eat as much of the pancakes as I did in the two years she's been working there. hahaha I'll be honest, of the breakfast places I've been to around Buffalo, Cruisers Diner, as of 2025, definitely serve up my favorite pancakes, not just because they're huge and VERY affordable, but they are cooked perfectly and they don't skimp on the extras, I mean there were a ton of chocolate chips both inside and outside. Cruisers Diner isn't upscale, fancy, but I don't want it to be! The 1950's style diner is comfortable and relaxing with friendly staff, is affordable, serving up quality food, and incredibly generous portions. I look forward to coming back, but for the sake of my stomach, I need to either ask for ONE pancake or learn to control myself by stopping at the second and taking it to-go! haha
