Well, that seems high, I tell him so he reverts back to the office to air my reluctance and dispute. They offer a $15 discount. I decline. I will be calling other ac companies tomorrow. I asked the right questions but was misled. Be honest from square one. That's how you keep customers. I want to know what I'm paying. It didn't seem normal to me. Trip charges typically get taken off of repair costs if you choose to have the repair. This way, you pay and you pay.

In desperation, I came across Generator Boyz in Yelp and gave them a call and explained to them the problem and loaded up the generator and brought it to their shop which was only 2 miles from my house. Once I got there, I explained to them what was going on and I also, I informed them I needed it back ASAP because of the forecasted weather. The next day, got a call and they said it was ready. Upon arriving to pick it up, it was running and we ran it several times before we loaded it back in my vehicle. Because it was an emergency repair the value was not that important but the service they provided in a short period of time was invaluable and timely. I will definitely be adding them to my database for future service and repairs.

The problem is if you have a dehumidifier like most people in Texas, they don't check that even if it right in their face and they also don't tell you up front that isn't part of the maintenance. So, when your dehumidifier breaks it's obviously not their problem. And when you cancel the maintenance plan they won't give you a partial refund even if you have only had it for one month. Weeks is another example of a company with shady business practices.

They replaced two outlets for me after one was sparking and another was not functioning properly. In replacing the outlets, they caused additional issues in the other outlets in my kitchen area where power was not coming to all of them in the kitchen. I had a second opinion and they had to replace the two that Tejas did and then the power returned to the other outlets. Not only did I not need to have any wiring redone, I had to replace the work that they did initially. Super disappointed. :(
