Omg, those fried Oreos are the bomb! My son said this was his new favorite place, he had the Patty Melt. I ordered the Philly steak and cheese fries to share with my husband, the medium was enough for 2. The fries were perfect, just enough cheese and meat ratio. I'm not sure how long this establishment has been here, I remember when it was a Pizza Hut! Both me and bf got the crazy burger with chilli tots and curly fries it's nearly $3 to sub the fries plus another $3 to put chilli on it so for those two burgers combo it was a bit over $40. Favorite burger place in Houston. They have a huge menu and everything that I have tried has been good. Burgers taste like quality burger meat. The chicken sandwich is not like eating at a chicken place (Gus's comes to mind) but it is really good for a place that I thought was just going to be burgers. First of all, the theme is great, I love how the menu is displayed. Super easy to read and the photos make it all look so delicious, you really can't go wrong. Second, we were not only shocked at the size of the burgers, but of the complete deliciousness that was filling our souls with happiness. This cute burger joint had the biggest, juiciest, and tastiest burgers and perfect homemade fries. I added cheese to mine, and trust me, it did not disappoint. Finally, ordered some funnel cake fries to enjoy back at the hotel. Crispy, fluffy, golden funnel cake sticks sprinkled with powdered sugar. TO DIE FOR! While I do miss wild kitchen, the burgers here are good, their buns could be better and I hope they try and change their buns so it doesn't feel like it will fall apart due to the moisture it absorbs. I do feel like it's kind of overpriced because you're paying fine dining prices for a small shack. I'd say try the place out at least once I'm sure you won't be disappointed but hard to recommend for a constant place to eat simply due to the prices. Oh and one more thing to mention is it does take a while to get your food but chalk that down to fresh food being cooked to order so not a big deal since you know you're getting freshly cooked food. read more

Supposed to be a Cajun style, can't see what was Cajun about it? I expected Cajun seasoning but not detectable. Had the cheeseburger last time and again the meat patty was skimpy, but more flavor. Perfectly cooked with the type of crust on the patty that burger lovers look for. The bun was incredible and is a reason alone to order a burger. It came with lots of toppings and was presented well. We made the mistake of ordering 2 large fries. The containers are so full of fries that the five of us barely finished the first one. I like how when I picked up the food I was advised not to close the fry containers so they are crispy when they get home. That advice makes a difference when you order take out. The kids burgers were the size of most places adult burgers. Just be aware that you might be cutting one in half so junior can hold it. The family that owns and operates JLB Eatery was there and they seemed very kind. We will be back for sure. I would even advise you to drive to it if you live further away. The crazy burger is really delicious, so is the London style fish and chips. The service is good, the ambiance is small quaint family style dining area, but let's face it, people come here to enjoy the food. I wish they have Coca Cola products instead of Pepsi. That is my only caveat. So whenever I come to pick up my order it is hot fresh and delicious always ready in 15 minutes or less as promised. Took my 2 goddaughters; two of us got the bacon avocado burger, the other goddaughter got the avocado grilled chicken. I was disappointed, the meat was good, but I don't like a flattened burger that's bigger than the bun. The meat was flattened so much that the burger was falling apart. I don't want to eat a burger with a fork and knife. The burger was big, we could have gotten just one and cut it in half. I have to say the fries were excellent, just need more ketchup.
