my first time visiting this restaurant on 12/2/2023. my mom love them I don't get it . The burger was medium well and dry, little to no cheese, the bun was good. The fries are horrible, I'm a fry girl and these dont even taste like potatoes. You can tell these came straight out of a bag. I also got the chocolate mousse cake for 5.95, truly a rip off, it was a toddler's portion. I will not visit that location never. Great meat makes a great burger. Patties at JLB are Angus beef, generously portioned and skillfully grilled. The fixin's are fresh, and the buns freshly baked. Fried onion rings and french fries make for tasty side indulgences. I always liked this place when it was run by the former owners. I always stopped in when I got to this neighborhood. But, I think the fish, which I come here for, is just a little bit better. Maybe the batter is less sweet. But, they have also certainly classed the place up. The restroom is downright fancy. I think that they should have more side orders....coleslaw to be specific. I remember when this place was originally Pizza Hut. My husband and I would come here. That's when Pizza Hut were eat-in restaurants with open salad bars. However, it is now aJLB Eatery with a steady stream of customers young and old. I had the Cheeseburger combo and the burger was big. I could barely eat it all with a lot of fries.
