I got Dazzle Dry manicure and pedicure. She took her time with both services and gave me exactly what I wanted. Only think is I will say they are not super equipped to remove dip powder. I came in with an old dip manicure and luckily she was able to get it off because it was pretty thin - just be aware that you may want to try taking it off yourself before coming here. Overall, I thought my mani/pedi was fairly pricey for what I got, but that also included the cost to take off the gel. I'd recommend tho for sure!

Then they showed me to the tub, and I asked if they were going to put a liner in. She said they didn't need a liner because there was no pump. There were, however, a dozen places around the faucet and drain where bacteria could hide. So apparently they were worried about contamination from my polish but not their tub. I said no thanks, and she said they were going to charge me anyway because of their cancellation policy. It's not like I was keeping a tech from taking another client as the place was empty...not one client other than me. Anyway, no price is too high to avoid toenail fungus, so I walked away.

Emmalee uses all gel polishes and provides a very sanitary experience using all new and cleaned tools, she files and then soaks the gel polish off and then takes her time to create a work of art on my nails. She is so good at nail art and will work with you to determine the best colors use and designs to do! My nails are usually short and I have the hardest time growing them, so I can't get really elaborate designs, but she does such good work with my little nails and always manages to make them look good no matter what colors or designs we choose. They have several to choose from, and I went with the hydrate and moisture pedi. She sold me on it when she said it came with hot stone massage. I generally work with Twin* (not sure this spelling is correct). Today, she was nearly 30 minutes late to start my nails. Rather than acknowledge her tardiness or even apologize, she began service in such a hurried fashion. When I asked that she clean under my nail bed and shape my nails (they were chipped and uneven) before adding tips, rather than simply perform the request she proceeded to feign confusion, argue with me about what I meant, and call me "aggressive" for what was a pretty straightforward request. I recognize that miscommunication happens and we all have bad days, but to fall back on a lazy and racist trope such as calling a Black woman customer "aggressive" for making a reasonable request was extraordinarily poor form and absolutely appalling. As a paying customer, I deserve to ask for what I want and to experience good quality service. If I see you missing steps, mishandling the health of my nails, or rendering inconsistent quality, it is my literal right to ask that you address the problem. Rather than just take ownership for her behavior, Twin and her supervisors refused to service me altogether. Needless to say, I will not be back.

I was wearing a cat eye polish not easy to match so they helped me match both pinky nails in a tone that goes with the cat eye. They also have some fun bath bombs and other items to purchase. There is absolutely no way she went through any sort of formal training or certification. She was pulling on my cuticles and I've never seen someone so awkward with a nail file, which she didn't really do. She didn't ask what shape or really any questions. She was so sweet, but just clearly didn't know what she was doing. You can tell in the pictures of how unevenly the polish was applied. It's cute inside and I feel bad leaving a mid review, but nails are expensive and a want not a need, so it's a huge letdown when the service isn't great quality. These really look like when I do them myself and I'm bad at doing nails.
