Currently sitting at Gregory's near the Charging Bull and it's chill in here. They took our order and drinks came out quickly. Fall Out Boy is one of their originals and it's really good! I recently tried Maman's banana iced latte and loved it, only to discover it was part of a seasonal menu which was ending that week.cTo my surprise, I dropped by Gregory's last week to find that they just added a banana latte to their menu, so I just had to try it! I honestly didn't look too closely at the ingredients because I was just way excited to even see a banana latte on the menu. But upon reflection (and a quick search) it includes flavors of banana, butter rum, their Night-Vision espresso and milk, topped with vegan maple rum cold foam. When I asked how sweet it was, they said they could make it less sweet which was good to know, but ultimately it was a bit too busy and sweet for my taste. But that's not really shade on the drink itself, and more so not the best fit for the types of drinks that I enjoy the most. Overall, I enjoy Gregorys coffee and this location was the same. There were a few communication challenges, but the folks working here were super nice and I was lucky to catch them during a late morning lull. Will definitely be back to support, but will pass on the banana latte next time. read more

I love local coffee shops and wanted to try a new spot while traveling. The service was quick and friendly. You can also order online. I was in a rush and cutting it close to missing my bus and the barista rushed my order and had me on my way in no time! (I also made it on the bus a few mins early - whew !) The coffee shop is bright and hip with a unique logo of a guy with glasses. It stands out and has its own flair. I ordered the special: iced cherry blossom - which is espresso, rose & cherry syrup with milk and vegan foam. The syrup is house made rose and cherry syrup! Passing by and decided to grab beverages to warm us up on the walk back to the hotel. They were slightly busy but service was fast and the staff was friendly. There is not a lot of room inside, especially the area you wait for your drinks. Beverages were well made and had good flavor. Our only complaint is the didn't stay hot for very long. read more

The nitro cold crew was good, the small cup size is pretty generous so I was happy about that for $4.50. The staff were a little too busy to attend to me so I wasn't pleased with that, you should stop what you doing when you see a customer. I've always had a great experience and this location was no exception. In addition to serving exceptional coffee, they have delicious baked goods to enjoy. This was my first time stopping at Gregory's after work. I was walking down on Broadway looking for caffeine and noticed the sign in the corner. I usually go to Starbucks so this was an interesting change. Gregory's is a small coffee shop with indoor/outdoor seating. I liked the designs and artwork on the walls. It gave it more of a relatable vibe compared to a Starbucks. There were several food and drink options available. I decided to order the Hall N' Oats which had oat milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. I was not a big fan. The drink was bitter and lacked the strong caffeine boost I was looking for. I miss my drinks at Gregory's. Unfortunately the one that I usually go to is still closed so I got into downtown Manhattan early enough that I could venture into this Gregory location. I took advantage of their newest drink: Picante Pick Me Up and ordered it in advance through their app. When I finally arrived at Gregory's, I saw two maybe three tables for outdoor dining and I walked into the store and there was stickers indicating social distancing. Masks are mandatory to pick up the order. Staff behind the counter were wearing masks and gloves. The drink was perfect for the weather, there was the right amount of spice kick that the espresso flavors and caffeine was a pick me up. When we saw how small some of the items were, my partner and I decided to skip food and stick with coffee. I got their Hall & Oats iced latte. It's cinnamon, oat milk, vanilla and cold brew. It was fine but honestly nothing to write home about. I think it's because they use Califia which is not the creamiest oat milk in my opinion. My partner got a soy latte and enjoyed it, too--not that it's easy to mess up a latte though. I would go back but I might try something different next time. read more

The cashier greeted us and we ordered Fall Oat Boys, which was his recommendation. It did take some making it but I rather have them take their time for a good coffee than for a bad one. My first sip left a good impression. It was hot, which was what I needed. It was tasty and rich in vanilla. In all honesty, this is probably one of my favorite coffee I've ever tasted. Although it was good, the small is smaller than a normal Starbucks cup and it costs around ~$6-7. Overall, this place gave me a good impression on coffee but for the price of it, I might just stick to drinking tea. Definitely worth coming here though! read more

Maybe I came here on an off day, but my experience was way worse than average reviews claimed and also worse than other Gregory locations. The person took my order was either new or in a bad mood. Several things went wrong: - When I asked which breakfast sandwich had no cheese, she said the display is all we have, and that's that. No smile, no further description. So you expect me to read descriptions of all 8+ breakfast sandwiches whereas shouldn't it be part of your job to know what is included in what? - I ordered a shake and a vegan scramble. No joke but shake took 10 min for her to make. When that's done, I had to ask where is my sandwich, and she said, oh I have to make it - which literally means to take it out of the fridge, put it in the oven to heat it up, and give to me. So here's a little lesson on productivity and efficiency - when you were spending the 10 minutes making a shake, MAYBE put the sandwich in the oven first, so when the shake is ready, the sandwich would be ready (probably before that). Anyways, please train up on customer service and how to make a shake! read more

I have an inkling that it was because they had begun cleaning all the stuff for closing. At around 4:20 he said they were closing in just a few minutes and effectively kicked all of the patrons out.
