I cannot recommend this place enough. Joe and his staff were one of the only bright spots in a harrowing car experience after being hit last month. From the very beginning with the phone call inquiry, he already set himself apart by being really friendly and more inquisitive/asking questions about the damage. Joe explained everything thoroughly and let me know what the next steps would be. He also was the only one that agreed to squeeze me in on a Friday afternoon instead of waiting until the following Monday. Calliana at the front desk was also wonderful - she was very kind and easy to talk to, as was Joe. My car ended up being declared a total loss so I didn't have any work done; however, I can say with full confidence that you can expect exceptional customer service here. My fender was knocked off in a low speed crash. My car was towed to Scuderi through my insurance company. Scuderi did a beautiful repair. Everyone says the car looks better than ever. They were very good at communicating with me by both phone and e-mail. My car is an older model so they had to order some parts. At some point in the last 15 years I took my car to Scuderi after getting rear-ended; they were on my insurance company's "approved" list. A year and a half later I noticed the paint was peeling from the repair so I stopped in to ask about it. They looked up my case, looked at the car and then asked "Our apologies - Will you need a rental car while we fix this?" I was a little surprised and asked what had happened. They responded that they could guess at what went wrong and would never be 100% sure of an exact answer - but it was obviously their fault and they stood behind their work. I'd love to give these guys one more star. They are such great folks, everyone I've dealt with have been good people, from the guy that did the estimate to the receptionist (she's fantastic) to John, who I think is a manager. Problem is my car wasn't right the first time they called and said it was ready. I pointed out my issues to John and he agreed right away. They ordered new parts to replace the ones that had been marked up in the removal and re installation process and extended my rental, no problem. When I picked up the vehicle a few days later it was right and the vehicle had been vacuumed and washed. So, I'm really happy with the end result, just was a bit difficult getting there. read more

Great company that fixed the damage on my Benz to perfection. Only complaint is they told me my rental car was ready and waiting but when I got there I had to wait for 40 minutes and pile into a mid sized economy car with other renters to be driven about two miles away and stand in line again to get my rental which at that time was a mini van. Sorry but if I wanted a mini van I would not be paying full coverage on a Mercedes and why did you tell me my rental was there and waiting when it was a line I had to wait in instead? All in all though, the repairs to my vehicle were amazing and fast! read more

I went there for a small work (polishing scratches) but when I scheduled appointment operator was incompetent about work need to be done and promised to call later, but haven't done so. Went to Scuderi per suggestion after a collision. I can say that everything I needed taken care of was...replacement of hatch etc. The problem was having to take car back for things that should have been double checked, like hatch wiper blade in operative and needing replacement too. Basically, they kept the old blade. Windshield wiper fluid for hatch window not working, which they stated line was frozen and needed opening. Dave, I believe is the service representative that I dealt with but the other office staff, particularly an Asian Female was the rudest ever. Since her name escapes me, I describe. I know she is the only Asian there. When I first came to office for the first visit in 2018, she saw me waiting a while and finally came to assist with a sour attitude. Sighing at me when I stumbled over name rep of made appointment, which I briefly had forgotten. She was short tempered with me. With this unprovoked hostility, I was confused as to why she was so nasty. After that, when I returned to pick up car each time, she was hateful each time. I noticed how nice she was to other customers. Even then, her tone with them was forced and fake but at least more pleasant than I received. I will also note that they were Causasian and I'm African American. When Dave was busy, I had to deal with her or another staff member(hispanic) whose customer service was average. I recently went to another collision company in area after a deer hit to my vehicle, and had great results and great service. I have not needed to return car for any follow ups. Scuderi was not considered. I may have been tempted to give Scuderi one more try had staff experience better. read more

I took my car there a few years ago to repair the rear bumper and trunk because it got smashed into. The job was very poorly done. The paint job was extremely rough, as in it looked like someone took sand paper and scratched up the paint. The bumper kept falling down on the passenger side. I took it back a couple of times and their final solution was to glue it on permanently. The trunk lid was not aligned with the latch and eventually wore out the plastic mount. When I finally traded this car in for a new one, the very first thing the used car manager said was my car was in a rear end accident and the body shop did a horrible job. I cannot recommend this place. It's as if they took some high school kids who are taking shop class and let them fix the cars. I don't know how this place got 4.5 stars. Please if you love your car do not take it to this place. read more

After an accident that I didn't want to take through insurance I wanted to find a body shop would do a quality job, work quickly, and not cost a lot. I found that place at Scudery. They turned around my repair job (new bumper, frame straightening, two panels, headlight, and paint) in one week. They worked with me on the price, sourcing aftermarket parts to save money and allowing me to decline some work that I didn't deem necessary for my older car. The car looks as good as new now. The staff is professional, friendly, and competent. I am very happy I took my car here. When I picked up my car I was given a complete overview of the work done and was pleasantly surprised that they even vacuumed out the car so it looked great inside and out! DO NOT GO HERE! They will damage your car and will refuse to take responsibility. I took my car here many years a go (pre-Yelp days, first car, first car accident) to repair the bumper, hood, lights, etc. What was supposed to take a couple of days ended up taking weeks. When I got my car, it looked fine. As soon as I left the shop, I heard clicking noises from the tires/wheels. I turned at the next traffic light and pulled over at the shop & checked the wheels. Each wheel was connected to the car by one loose bolt, and the rest of the bolts were missing (on every single wheel). So I went back (this is 5 minutes after I picked up my car). To my surprise, not only they refused to take responsibility for it, they did not even want to listen to my concerns, or step out and see the car. They showed me the paper I signed when I picked the car up, and accused me of ruining their image in front of their good customers in the store. It was a simple human error when they forgot to put the screws back, which put my life in danger had any of the screws came off. They could have easily taken responsibility and fixed it in seconds. I'm not a mechanic, and it took me less than 5 minutes and less than $10 worth of bolts to fix it, but I'm hoping my review would not ruin their image in front of their good customers. read more

Rarely do I take the time to post a review, but given the superlative level and quality of service that I received, I could not resist. I recently purcahsed a high dollar vehicle from Carvana -- a factory special order paint to sample Porsche Macan GTS. While the vehicle was almost perfect, there were some scrapes on the front (painted) bumper cover, and a couple of tiny areas on the hood that had been touched up. To Carvana's credit, they took care of these issues without any pushback. Scuderi CARSTAR Auto Body was on their approved repair facility list. I had passed this place a million times, but had never utilized their services. Marty, my service person there, could not have been more helpful. He looked at the car, evaluated it, and scheduled my appointment. He dealt directly with SilverRock, Carvana's outside warranty company, and got approval for what tuned out to be a just under $2000 repair. I dropped the car off, and they had it ready about 3 days earlier than promised. That is simply unheard-of. I cannot say enough great things about Scuderi -- as an avid sports car collector, I would not hestiate to take any or all of my high-end cars there for any body work. My only regret is that Yelp will not let me give Scuderi SIX stars. read more

had a car accident a year ago. major body damage because some drunken moron hit my car and messed up the alignment and wrecked the driver side rear. they did decent on the body and fixed out the major kinks. only thing i can say about them is that they were sloppy. didn't completely re-fasten all the parts (loose body part missing screws etc.). in addition, they left an unresolved check engine light on. when inquiring about it, they said "don't worry, it isn't an issue". brought it back in after it persisted, and all the mechanic did was reset it. customer service decent. overall work decent. just sloppy. too sloppy for my taste. read more

I went to Scuderi Auto Body last week to obtain a preliminary estimate after someone had both dented of one of my car doors and damaged the paint finish (hitting it with force when opening their own car in a parking lot). Their insurance had given me the runaround and by the time I showed up at Scuderi late on Friday afternoon, I was not the happiest person. However, everyone in the front office was very friendly, patient, and accommodating. It ended up that owner Chip Scuderi wrote up the estimate himself, spoke to the insurance company to get clarification, and then even transmitted the estimate to the insurance company before they closed for the weekend. I had two accidents back to back and took my car to Scuderi to repair both. Friendly Staff, excellent service and top quality work. They are well plugged into both the Insurance companies and local car rental outfits which helps a lot to make the whole experience less inconvenient.
